Dr. Brodner was very polite, respectful, listened to my answers carefully. He made suggestions and was direct in telling me to stop doing some of the things I've been doing. Overall, I highly recommend him. I've been in healthcare for 30 years. I don't mention that during my appointments. I want to evaluate their care based strictly on being their patient. I also leave my emotions out of my visit. For reference: I had the best Ortho surgeon and he had horrible reviews. NOT because he wasn't one of the best in the country, but because he was very direct and didn't chit chat. People lost their minds over that calling him rude and saying he had a horrible bedside manner. No... he was extremely busy and did not waste time on anything but necessary facts. I picked up on that immediately, and was not offended by it. Healthcare is inundated and I don't foresee it getting better... on the level/amount of patients we see per day and all of the additional data entry, chart reviews, and chart notes. Our society has become emotion driven without seeming to care it's also become a breakneck pace in healthcare. You don't have to leave your appointment feeling disgruntled if you enter it with patience and grace. Additionally, sometimes there is no clear answer or it's discovered over time. Dr's are not God and the pressure/expectations placed on them to be charismatic in addition to everything else they have to be is not reasonable. That said, I do agree none of us need to be rude or condescending either, if you arrive with patience and grace. I had asked a patient what was wrong because she was treating me horrible and I hadn't even begun her exam. She apologized and said she brought in her suitcase of things going wrong in her life and was beating me up with it. Be mindful of the energy you bring to the appointment.

It is now almost three months later and I am still having extreme sinus difficulties and have been back to his office several times to see what else could be done. What annoys me most is that every time I went back I was examined by his assistant. I feel that I was just being passed off and now I have been told to contact a research hospital as there is nothing else that can be done. Extremely frustrating after going through with surgery which did little to relieve problem.

Absolutely unacceptable experience -- I wish I could give zero stars…read more I don't usually leave reviews, but what happened here deserves to be addressed. My daughter had an appointment scheduled for May 27th at 3:40 PM, which I booked on April 17th. The referral was sent from her pediatrician on March 21st. I arrived at 3:37 PM, already having completed the registration in advance. After waiting 15 minutes, I was called to the front desk and told they had not received the referral and that I would need to contact the pediatrician's office myself. I asked if they could call too, since providers usually get through faster -- they said they would, but they didn't. I then spent 30+ minutes on the phone trying to track someone down, while still in the waiting room. I finally got in touch with someone from the front desk named Chelsea, who was rude, condescending, and dismissive throughout the entire interaction. She told me: It was my fault for having an insurance plan that requires prior authorization. It was my fault for scheduling an appointment with a doctor who wouldn't be in the office that day -- something I was never told when booking. That it was not their responsibility to notify me that they didn't have the referral approved, even though the appointment had been set for two months. When I asked to speak to a manager, she told me the manager "might" be in a meeting and wouldn't even check. After asking again, she claimed the manager (Cassandra) would call me back. I still haven't received that call. Chelsea then asked if I wanted to keep or cancel the appointment -- even though they had already told me my child couldn't be seen due to the missing authorization. She also asked if I was going to pay out-of-pocket, which felt incredibly insensitive and unprofessional, especially after everything that had happened. For context: Before even booking this appointment, I called Dr. Kay's office and confirmed that they had received the referral and that everything was good to go. When I brought this up to Chelsea, she said she had no idea who I spoke to and that it was clearly "my fault." All of this happened in front of my child, and it was not only frustrating but also embarrassing. I've never had such an unprofessional experience at a doctor's office -- especially as a first-time patient. The way I was treated, and the complete lack of accountability or compassion, makes it clear we will not be returning.

This is the DOCTOR THAT OWNS THIS HORRIFIC PLACE THEY CALL ENT SPECIALISTS!!!!!!…read more I choked as I wrote that! This Doctor did nothing. I asked to speak with him since he owned the practice and was told no. Worst experience of my life. Go to CVS off Jog and Boynton Beach Blvd. the entire pharmacy has the most trouble with there office and they are far from showing any empathy at all I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO AN ENEMY Both me and my kids had surgery in this practice w dr Visaya. He was nice. But young and not seasoned at all. Still has a lot to learn. I had many problems with my kids surgery as well as mine in . November with Dr Archilla. I called Friday to have a script approved, due to a complication from the surgery. This was never called in to my pharmacy. I called during office hours. As a mater of fact. Very early! You will never get to see the dr you want. They overbook. The weight is ridiculous, the staff are miserable people, and get very rude, with no repercussions. This is one of the only Pediatric ENT in Boynton Beach, so I had no choice but to select them. So I called the office and left him a message at 10:00 am Saturday. I received a call back a call back at 4 pm and his demeanor was extremely aggressive, rude, non caring. He told me to call back on Monday if I want a script. THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR, IF YOU WANT A CARING PHYSICIAN, or one who responds to emergency calls, or willing to help you after Monday through Friday! I was discharged with no follow up treatment and that is considered patient abandonment. I contacted everyone I could and reported several claims to my insurance company Lori the office manager. Is clueless and the biggest nastiest person you will meet!!!! TERRIBLE OFFICE! TERRIBLE DOCTOR! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE.

This Dr had the worst bedside manner I have ever seen . He definitely should not be in pediatrics…read more He had absolutely no patience for my 5 year old daughter being a little scared to have a 12 inch scope put in her nose and rudely walked out of the room and said abrasively she needed to be put under anesthesia. After I calmed her down and explained the procedure to her she was willing to do it. He came back in the room with a huge attitude, did the procedure, and was incredibly rude with us sharing the result. I tried to ask a few questions and he kept cutting me off and would not even answer them. I really wanted to walk out to the minute we met him but it takes months to get an appointment and my daughter was suffering . I filed a complaint to the office manager upon leaving . Do yourself a favor and find a different Dr.
