Nope, the doctor was sweeping his own entryway (!), while three (!) women who worked for him stood around doing little (one tried to take the broom from him). I waited about 1 hr 45 minutes for my appointment. Second time, same thing (well, minus the sweeping). I was about to leave when I was finally called in, only to have drops put in my eyes and be SENT BACK TO THE WAITING ROOM WHILE HE SAW OTHER PATIENTS. It would be one thing if that had happened after I'd been there for 15 minutes. But I'd already waited close to two hours to begin the appointment. The doctor also has this weird thing going on where the patient in his exam room is the most important person in the world - yes, he will figure out your eye problem! - but the same patient, once in the waiting room, is treated like scum who is wasting his time.

He explained what he was going to do and said if I needed any instructions repeated, that's no problem. The eye exam went really well. He didn't try to sell me on anything and just stated the facts about the next steps. The ladies at front desk were helpful after the eye exam was completed to pick out frames for my glasses. I am all for avoiding costly exams and tests but I could not trust this very brief exam. Before spending money on new glasses I needed to make sure that this was a correct prescription. I went to an optometrist and it turned out that this prescription was way off. He diagnosed an astigmatism where there is none. No, I cannot recommend him. Thankfully, I did not spend $$$ on lenses that would not have worked for me.

Usually a contact exam covers eye glass prescription but not here. It's an additional cost. Compared to experience of a coworker, we overpaid greatly for contact lenses here. I ended up not being able to use the eye exam because the DMV had be read their chart instead, so I tried for a return, but the front of house guy immediately became defensive, angry and rude. He refused a refund but compromised on a store credit, but he knows I'm not coming back as a customer. If i'm being honest, the whole thing felt like a scam.
