Unlike other gyms where you sign up and are basically left to your own devices (in my case flaffing about on machines and not making progress), the guys and gals at Bob's actually make you go through a basic fitness program. After that they make a personalised work out program which is reviewed after about 5 weeks. I'm in and (crawling) out of the gym in about 1 hour. At the beginning you basically book yourself for each appointment and there will be a trainer (usually Paul or Ian) who will help out. Doing this has really helped me get into the routine of going to the gym and I go every second day. The facilities are good and they have all the equipment that anywhere else has. The changing rooms and showers are clean and opening times very convenient if you have a 9-5 job. It's possibly a tad more expensive than some other gyms in town but undoubtedly worth the extra. If you're like me and have a record of getting memberships and then not going, then I would definitely recommend this gym.
