My first meeting with him was by appointment and Bradley was immeadiatly dissmissive and rude. I thought I would give him a 2nd chance...and upon arriving with my Tax info for my 2nd app, before he even said hello, He looked at my forms and said..."Yeah your Screwed"... However she ended up being very rude after a couple emails, of nothing but communication and eagerness to connect the dots with what was going on. She even went as far as cancelled my appointment for the following week. Maybe it was the way I worded the email asking her to make sure our appointment was with her because I had been working with her and I believe the secretary scheduled it with a different agent, or maybe Maria just didn't read it right, but If you want to be treated as a client with professionalism and respect, go elsewhere. A mistake was made on my tax documents. After months of phone calls going unanswered, I showed up…read morein person - taking time off work on a Monday - to request the correction. I was told the preparer would be in the office Wednesday, and I requested the form be completed by the following Saturday. I went back Saturday, and the preparer told me he'd "left it in the McKinleyville office" (as if I don't know it's all digital and, if it were done, he'd just have to print it) and said he would go pick it up after work and bring it back down and then call me to have me come pick it up. To the surprise of literally no one, no call ever came. It called again the following Monday to verify the form was ready to be picked up. After consulting with the preparer, the receptionist said he had requested my email address as he had "a few more questions." This is in spite of the fact that I had already left a detailed note for him stating which line, column, etc. was incorrect and why and what it should read. I provided my email address. Again. He then emailed me that he "can't make the changes to the return without the notice from the state or federal." I informed him that I had not received a notice because I had not been able to file my return (only an extension) because I have been waiting since April (it is now September) for the corrected form (weird how he didn't mention the notice when he just left the completed form in McKinleyville). I still haven't received the corrected form.

The services we received were not worth the prices we payed. If I could give this company negative stars I would. Don't go to this accounting firm unless you want to have your entire refund taken back by their "fees and time". I called with simple billing questions to confirm the cost of preparing my and my spouses taxes. Man was that a mistake. Don't question their prices or you'll be treated incredibly poorly and "told to find a new accounting firm." Yes he actually said that. I simply asked him "how did you come up with these prices?" Apparently that triggered him. From this point he shut down and was cold, rude and saying he discounted our final bill that was supposed to charge over $1000 (with no break down or how this amount came about) for my husband taxes (bunch of crap) and over $400 for my simple 1040ez taxes (with no earned income I might add, basic of the basic!) What are you doing on that office that you are saying you are spending that much time to justify charging this astronomical amount? Time to revamp your staff. We were already planning not to use this tax firm next year before the accountant told us we need to find a new place. This is not how you deal with customers with simple billing questions. This is poor customer service and in a small area customer service matters. Save your time and money and go to someone who will be happy to help you and at fair prices. Their services are not worth the prices charged.
