My policy was transitioned from one Farmer's Insurance group after retirement to Michael Hansen's insurance group. The letter I received was very reassuring that it would be "seamlessly transitioned" and that my account was in good hands. Well, that is not at all what I experienced. Essentially I was told to contact the insurance carrier, which was Foremost, directly for my policy in order to renew it. At first I was told that this Farmers office did not have access yet to Foremost portal and to call back in 1-week, when they would then have access. So I did that and got the "brush-off". I asked to have my call returned and never received a call back. So there it goes... not very professional! They could of at least have called me back to say they were not supporting Foremost policies and that I needed to do it myself. BUT, on the good side... I am now in control of my policy vs. having to go through another insurance company and dealing directly with Foremost, where we found that there were several errors on my account information that was input incorrectly by the original Farmers agent.
