Cause a life as a background extra is just around the corner! I've been with Jeff Olan castin' since about early Sept 2010. They were the first people that I worked with and have had much success with them thus far that is why I'm excited to Boast. ***If you're new to bein' an extra or thinkin' about signnin' up with them. Just take the plunge. It's a one time fee of $25 bones. You take a headshot and you're in their data base. You call their number and you see what's available and if the producers like their look they will book. It's pretty self-explanatory. Castin' agents: Jeff Olan, Ryan, Milton, Gil, and Vera.. Each individual has their unique style on the phone but Shows: Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, Medium, and Hard times of RJ Berger... (They occasionally have other projects but this is the most consistent. I feel that as an individual of color (Someone who isn't white) especially in Hollyweird can be very very discouraging at times. If you notice on set... The cast and crew is very pre-dominating white. However, you can't let that stop you from achieving your dreams. I feel that through all the casting agents and and calling services Jeff Olan is definitely the most friendly and in terms of caterin to individuals who aren't white such as myself and others. Also, not to knock other places such as Sandi Alessi and Central which are good. But the success rate is just so much harder to get booked and like everything they do pick a lot of favorites. So you gotta try your luck. ***I've gotten 2 sag vouchers from them and even Jeff Olan often times leaves things on the line and shows up on set to see how his extras are doing. In addition, he often leaves some heart-felt messages about life which can be cheesy but I do appreciate the sentiment.... So whether you're tryin' to break into actin' or doing this as a part time gig. If you're lookin' for a place to start I'd suggest Jeff Olan. I hosted a filming production for this company in June of 2026. Based on our direct experience and…read morewhat was captured on timestamped security footage, the production was extraordinarily disorganized, disrespectful, and poorly managed. Most concerning was the conduct of the company's acting coaches, who were serving as members of the production crew. Security footage captured them mocking our house rules, directing derogatory remarks about the house and owners toward our security cameras. Their comments reflected the same dismissive attitude the production demonstrated toward our home, our neighbors, our written restrictions, and our repeated efforts to address problems during the shoot. The production also appeared to have been substantially overbooked. The location was reserved for 6-15 people, but footage showed approximately 20-25 people on site simultaneously, with well over 100 actors, parents, and attendees cycling through throughout the day. Attendees were heard on camera complaining that they had been waiting for hours past their scheduled appointment times, had received no clear callback time or instructions, and had not been provided water while standing outside in the Florida heat. Rather than providing a designated waiting area, schedule management, or meaningful supervision, the production left people standing outside a private residence and wandering throughout the surrounding residential area. Attendees repeatedly congregated on neighboring lawns and driveways, obstructed neighboring driveways, substantially disrupted the street, and created significant noise. Security footage also showed children moving in and around active traffic, including situations where vehicles had to navigate around them and apparent near misses could have resulted in serious injury. Despite multiple written requests to control the attendees and keep everyone on our property, the production failed to take any corrective action. The resulting disruption generated serious complaints from surrounding residents and required extensive efforts on our part to apologize to neighbors and repair those relationships. After the production, we also spent days cleaning, restoring the property and dealing with property damage. This was not a minor scheduling issue or misunderstanding. It was a poorly organized production marked by excessive attendance, prolonged appointment delays, inadequate communication, lack of crowd control, unsafe conditions, disregard for neighboring properties, property damage, and openly derogatory conduct by members of the crew. Based on this experience, I would not host or work with this company again.

There were hundreds of families that showed up. When our daughter auditioned, she was a little shy but did a good job for it being her first audition. To our surprise, she got a call back that evening. We returned the next day for orientation, which was a small group compared to the amount of people that auditioned. CGTV provided different program options to choose from, that can accommodate any participant's budget. The staff went over all the options available to us and we signed that day. The program is well worth the investment. We felt like this was not only a business deal, but an opportunity to build a long-term friendship with CGTV. Adrian R'Mante, his family, and the staff members at CGTV are passionate about their profession, they take it extremely seriously. You can tell they care for all the actors and have their best interest at hand. Another great aspect of attending a program is how invested Adrian and CGTV staff members are regarding the safety, and well-being of the actors in all age groups. Adrian, CGTV and celebrity guests do not let the kids go anywhere alone, they are huge on providing a safe environment for them to learn, grow and focus on improving their acting skills throughout the program. As an overprotective mother, they eased my worry, with their accountability of the kids, professionalism, and friendliness. GCTV is the real deal. Adrian R'Mante has created a successful business to help boost actors' chances of getting an opportunity to find an agent or manager within his program. We attended an All-Star and VIP program in Los Angeles, where our daughter met many guest celebrities that helped her advance her acting, monologue reading, cold reading and improv skills. You can tell the difference in her confidence level, the delivery of materials and her on stage presence. Our daughter did well at the showcase which resulted in her receiving a call back from two agents and a manager. This week we submitted the self-tapes the agent requested and had a zoom meeting with a manager. We are very grateful for the LA performance opportunity and are hopeful we will be signed soon. When I reached out again, they revealed they had already removed me from their roster. I understand it's on me to keep my calendar updated, but the way they handled things was unfair and rude.

After years of paying for their service and getting booked maybe once every six months, I had a recent text exchange with a rep that showed a shocking lack of industry knowledge and professionalism. They were dismissive, condescending, and even suggested I needed a 'buzz cut' despite me having no hair - clearly not paying attention to their own clients' profiles. When I escalated to the owner, Mike, he completely dismissed my concerns, defended his unprofessional employee, and essentially told me to leave if I didn't like it, even trying to blame my lack of bookings on 'industry-wide issues' while his company continues to collect fees. If you're looking for an agency that values its talent and provides actual support, Face2Face is not it. They'll happily take your money for years with minimal results and even worse customer service.
