I was reluctant to admit a problem and I really just figured there was not much point as I have always been this way and don't know if I'll change. After another bad month my wife caught me in a weak moment and I agreed to do it. One of my biggest hang ups on getting help was I really didn't see myself being able to talk with someone about all the issues. I picked Dr. Feintuch almost randomly off of the Psychology Today list of recommended psychiatrists in Nashville. My criteria for a doctor are my own but I basically rolled the dice and figured if it was a bad experience I could venture elsewhere. I've only been 4 or 5 times now. From the start I was very anxious and somewhat embarrassed of going. The nervousness about going has subsided the receptionist lets you in and doesn't try to make any awkward conversation and lets you wait in peace. Dr. Feintuch has a very calm and attentive affect that does not feel like the stereotypical "shrink" depicted in movies. Her office feels like a study right out of your own home and is located in a clean and comfortable American Foursquare right off of Music Row. I felt very nervous about going into this situation and was not sure how it would go. Mostly she ask questions here and there and lets you talk about what's going on in your head. She ask plenty of good questions and never comes across as critical or snooty, even when I fall into a blabbering tirade and get off topic. She did offer a few potential diagnoses that she thought might be related to my issues but not in a threatening or absolute way that made me feel labeled with a big problem. She offered potential medicines and various snippets of advice to these issues. She also recommended a book that I listened to and identified with immediately. The main reason I felt compelled to write this review is I was just last week in one of the darkest depressions I have experienced and her very simple advice(in that moment it seemed trivial)as well as my wife's support is helping to get me out bed each day and move on. I intend to continue to see Dr Feintuch on a regular basis. If you or someone you know needs a doctor to talk to, in the mental health arena, I recommend Dr Feintuch.

They have been very accommodating and have worked with my chaotic schedule and have even rescheduled a few appointments, last minute, without penalty. The office staff is very nice and it seems like their operations have drastically improved since they have changed locations. I can't believe that they don't have a single good review. I had to write this one to defend them. I had a salty first impression but they totally redeemed themselves. It was difficult finding a good facility for my mental health needs in the Nashville area and have had a great experience with them so far!

Waited over an hour and no provider logged on although the message on the screen said they had alerted the provider. Then we received conflicting stories about it not being on their schedule, to being on their schedule for in person, to they did not confirm the appointment the day of the appointment because of payment not being made which is always the first order of business the day of an appointment. Our son had been patient there for years, so very disappointed at this downturn of Customer Service over the past several months. Will be moving to a different provider at a different facility.

I rely on prescription-strength allergy medication (Zyrtec D) because over-the-counter options do not work for me. The week of Thanksgiving, I realized I was running low, so I called the office and spoke with Christopher, who said he would speak with Brenda--the provider I normally see--and that she would call me back. I never received a call. The following Monday, I called again and was told there was suddenly a letter in my file discontinuing my medication because I've been on it for five years. This was news to me. On 12/3/25, I spoke with the office manager, who said she would look into the situation with both Rob and Brenda and call me back. Once again, no one followed up. The staff at this facility knows I get seriously sick from allergies, yet no one seems concerned or willing to communicate. After this experience, I cannot recommend Gracepointe to anyone. Their lack of follow-through and disregard for patient needs is unacceptable.

She is also obviously smart and a capable provider, letting me know about new medications and how to get them affordably. Then had the nerve to charge me $200 for a missed appointment that was always a $50 fee. Needless to say I never went back. Fast forward about four years and I just opened a collections letter for said $200. Uh yea no. I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm not paying for an appointment when they turned out to be more about him than me. Not to mention their billing dept constantly screws up and they held my prescriptions hostage over every red cent no matter if it sent me into dangerous withdrawal. Then when we'd go through our statements, prove we already paid, they wouldn't even act sorry for putting me through withdrawal. No no no.
