My first visit here nearly 3 years ago was the best decision I made regarding my health. Dr. Andrews is very thorough and clearly explains everything. I receive a written report of our discussion and any plans going forward so I don't leave feeling like I need a medical dictionary. Brittany is amazing also. She is always friendly and can get my blood draw done with one stick. I love having a doctor who can address all my concerns and doesn't have me waiting for hours for a 15 minute check over. I always feel like my concerns are addressed and I'm confident in what we are doing as a team. This is not against DR. Helton he does a good job it's against the office staff for being so SLOW and unresponsive to calls and customer comfort, terrible since when I go there there is always some office people just sitting and chatting when they could be HELPING patients.

He is kind, very understanding, patient, well educated and takes his time with you, listening to all your issues & concerns. I am very lucky to have found him! I think out of ALL the family doctors I have seen in my adult life, he has by far been the best. The staff is kind and really take care of you. Every time I ever called to address a medication concern or refill they get right on it! They are efficient and really provide amazing service!!! The nurses are sweet :) Oh, and when taking blood, they rock! Never hurts...they have magic needles I think. lol! They have a great team here!!! Again, very happy here!!!

We struggled finding a…read more Primary Care Physician for check-ups; physicals and occasional winters colds and what appeared to be minor ailments. Many walk in clinics have wonderful nurses but the turnover in their employees is continual-which hinders good service. We were referred to Dr. Hopkins and his staff and it was just what we needed. They are located right off the square downtown Murfreesboro in an older but very neat building. Our family has seen Dr. Hopkins on occasion and also his PA's and nurses-they are all very thorough, professional and kind. They have either always taken care of us or referred us on to a specialist when our case warranted. The front office staff are polite and always ready to answer questions. When our private insurance was cancelled by BCBS and like thousands had to scramble for health insurance- we made sure our new coverage was a policy that Dr. Hopkin's practice accepted. Our family has found our doctor!

Multiple other children went back who arrived after me, which was frustrating. I was told by the front office staff that I was welcome to reschedule my appointment, after waiting an hour with my toddler and newborn, or I could wait, but they did not know how long it would be. I waited another 30 minutes with literal tears streaming down my face as I'm rocking my screaming newborn who's literally starving because she doesn't have any milk due to the long wait time. I was offered formula from the back, which is actually a kind offer, however my child doesn't take that formula. I never imagined the wait would be that long and I would need a second bottle. Multiple sick children came in and were coughing and sneezing in the tiny, and albeit dirty, waiting room. There is no separate area for well kids/people to sit so you are forced to share space with unwell children as well, which is not common in practices now days. I was very excited about finding this practice because it's closer to my home and also my younger daughter had her visit there the day before and the wait time was under 10 minutes. I was shocked with the outcome of today's events, especially since there was no explanation other than "we have multiple bookings to fit everyone in". I don't feel it's fair for me and my toddler and infant to sit waiting for 1.5 hours for providers to double book themselves. I will be reaching out to management to see how this can be rectified to not happen again. My review is edited to show my experience and will be updated after speaking with management.

They are knowledgeable, don't talk down to you but explain things in layman's terms, and most importantly, know their limitations and when to get the good doctor for advice and help. He shares an office with Dr. Eller, who I haven't met. One highlight: I needed to see him the same day I called and they were able to squeeze me in before they closed. I actually think they stayed open a few minutes longer than the posted time for me! If there was anything I can pick on, it is the waiting room. It is smallish when there are a lot of sick people around. Otherwise, it is a good-sized room. I would estimate over 30 seats, a bit close together.
