Despite enforcing a stringent $100 penalty for patient appointment cancellations or absences, they exhibited a remarkable disregard for reciprocal accountability when I arrived punctually for my scheduled appointment, only to be informed that "the doctor isn't here today." No prior notice was provided, no attempt at remediation, and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. This asymmetric policy framework--wherein patient compliance is strictly monitored and penalized while the provider assumes no responsibility for its own operational lapses--raises serious concerns regarding professionalism, fair dealing, and the implied covenant of good faith. One might reasonably expect a "medical" establishment to demonstrate at least a baseline commitment to honoring appointments or, at the very least, to notifying patients of cancellations in advance. Failure to do so not only breaches patient trust but potentially exposes the practice to reputational risk and claims of inequitable conduct.

I returned to the office a month later, distressed and seeking help, as my face hadn't healed as expected. Unfortunately, Dr. Margarita Lolis showed a noticeable lack of compassion and concern. Our follow-up appointment lasted barely three minutes, and she offered little guidance or reassurance. This experience left me feeling neglected and unsupported during what has been a difficult time. I would recommend others to carefully consider their options for facial surgery and thoroughly assess a doctor's willingness to provide comprehensive post-operative care and support. Be careful of these "good reviews", in my opinion they are not true and planted! I took the advice from the PA at the Schweiger Rutherford, NJ Office to use her as my surgeon and never checked the reviews, I made a terrible mistake! My face will NEVER be the same, (she butchered me), but thank god I found an excellent Plastic Surgeon who is working miracles to make me look the best he can.

I went to see Dr. Margarita Lolis, a dermatologist at that office, for treatment after I started breaking out in pimples all over my body that were itchy. After Dr. Lolis examined me and suggested I keep well moisturized and keep using an ointment prescribed by another dermatologist, she introduced to me to Erin Courtney. Erin said that I could benefit from twice-a-week laser treatments, and that she would ask my insurance company if they were covered. My first visit with Erin was on Jan. 22, 2019, and I was told my insurance company would bill me for the co-pay. I undressed and showed Erin the painful and itchy pimples on my legs, arms and back, and she applied what she called "light therapy." She spent less than 10 minutes with me, and I made appointments for Tuesday and Thursday of the following week. When I returned on Tuesday, Jan. 29, for my appointment, I was kept waiting in the outer office for awhile before one of the receptionists told me I would have to pay $295 for each "laser treatment." I said I was unwilling to do that and left. I had gone to Dr. Lolis, who was recommended by my insurance company, after the first dermatologist I went to see, couldn't explain why I was breaking out or whether I was allergic to any of the food I was eating. She just prescribed an ointment that cost more than $50 a tube at the pharmacy at Costco Wholesale in Teterboro, N.J. After using a second tube, most of the pimples have disappeared and I get another one only rarely. But I'm sure that has nothing to do with the mysterious "light therapy" from Erin Courtney.

I had two skin lesions removed that I was concerned about and she made me feel so at ease explaining the different types of skin lesions. She removed both lesions-and I didn't feel a thing it was literally painless. She then explained the process of testing them and assured me that she would be in touch once the pathology report was back. A few days later she called me personally letting me know that they were both benign skin lesions and that I had nothing to be concerned about. I highly recommend Erin Courtney for any skin care needs. The office staff was so friendly, clean and inviting. Thank you Erin and Staff so much again!!

If I was not getting a call for a few days then your staff should've verbalized this. The point of the matter is I was not informed before or after the procedure what were the expectations this time or the depth of treatment that was done that day. Therefore, I went to a dermatologist who stated that it was NOT normal what I was experiencing. She also stated that because my face was so inflamed she could not tell if my scars due to the procedure would fade or not. This is after I stopped by your place of service and was told this was "normal". Even after the 48 hours I still couldn't touch my face due to the pain. My face is worse than it was before I went in for the procedure. I have reached out directly, twice and I still haven't gotten a call back. Since it seems this is the best way to communicate and get a response from you then I would like a refund. Thank you and have a great day.

I've been coming here about twice a year for IPL photofacial for years. The spa is always clean,…read moreall staff are friendly and welcoming, and appointments run on time. My only complaint is that they seem to have high staff turnover, which means you're dealing with different people each time. On my most recent visit about a month ago, I was told that NJ law now regulates who can do IPL, and so now it is only done by a medical staff member. Consistent with that (and everything else lately) prices did go up a bit, but after checking around in the area, they still seem reasonable here. Dorota is now the exclusive technician for photofacial. This was my initial session with her. She was thorough in trying to understand my problem and to advise realistically about the procedure and expected results. As I said, I'm not a photofacial newbie, but I appreciated her attention to detail and expertise. She was careful about my comfort and ready to meet me where I was at when I requested that she use high intensity. She was also thorough in the treatment, and I felt that she really tried hard to hit all areas of my face, which I appreciated. I have zero complaints about Dorota. She was great. Unfortunately, my results this time were less than impressive. I don't know if that is because I've reached the end of efficacy for the photofacial, if there was something different about this laser, or just what... I get the IPL to treat brown spots and uneven skin tone. In the past, I have had really amazing results where the areas darken and "scab" and then the discoloration seems to flake right off leaving renewed skin. This time I had almost no darkening and minimal results. I am aware that IPL photofacial is not a science and results can vary greatly. It was just disappointing that something that has worked so well previously did not perform equally well this time. Because of the lackluster results and the price increase, I am not sure that I will keep at it. In the past, I've had prescription bleaching cream that did nothing. The initial IPL was very effective at lightening my dark patches. The spots are still visible, but maybe they are "too light" for the machine. After this summer, I will likely re-evaluate. In sum, I recommend this spa for the facilities and the staff. If you've never tried IPL photofacial and you are dealing with discoloration, this might be what you need. For reference- I'm fair-skinned but tan easily with some freckles.
