The process has been "painful" for various reasons such as the popularity of Cambridge location (not really in Harvard Square btw) and Davis Square.. The Watertown location lost a lot of specialists, including Behavioral Health (just as well maybe as Dr.. Macabe was running it and I was unhappy with his care) Davis is under construction and Arsenal is next to major construction.. Mass Health via Neighborhood Health has been impacted by its own reorg and loss of profit. Current parking at this location is difficult. I've had the same GP for 18 years (Dr.. Joo Kim) who is Excellent.. The same amazing PA (Ann Klinkuson), various Orthopedists, Opthomologists, etc. This location has the Best dermatologist I've ever encountered (boy have I moved a lot) Dr.. Robyn Marszalek. When was the last time you had a follow up appointment for your itchy feet and when you asked "what about this weird thing on my scalp?" the doctor replied "I can remove that for you now." For all locations you'll end up at Mt. Auburn hospital (although I did have a plate put into my ankle at the Faulkner) Waits are short if at all, payments organized, clean environment. Look, you're going here because of Neighborhood Health or Tufts.. Are there better staff and parking elsewhere? Yes but this a great HMO by normal standards. Finally, the My Health Online where you get appointment reminders, tests results and other is extremely well run and updated.. Anyone reviewing the call backs while not using the online system should rethink that.. I've always gotten to speak with a nurse practioner. Or doctor when I call about immediate health issues. It's February 2018 now, let's see if they can adapt to these changes, I hope so!

I did not feel like she had any genuine care about the issues that I had and didn't go into any detail on fixing them. We decided to do physical therapy with one issue which I found out later They don't have any physical therapist for me. The second issue, she just prescribed what I was already getting which I found out later that I should stop taking because of the issues it was doing to my skin. Basically this was a complete waste of time and I will be staying away from this office. I would recommend staying away from Dr. Ion at least and looking somewhere else.

I was left sitting in a crowded hallway for three hours, surrounded by other patients, feeling neglected and anxious. Despite my well-documented disability, they denied me the standard care and reasonable accommodations I clearly needed. This lack of attention and care compelled me to file a formal complaint with the hospital administration. After months of back-and-forth communication and following up on my complaint, I was shocked to receive notice that I had been sent to collections for an appointment that was essentially useless. This hospital, which used to be known for its excellent patient care, has fallen into decline. The actions of the Governor, allowing the hospital to reduce staff significantly, have led to a system that feels more like a scam. Now, patients are met with overworked and rude nurses, and the limited availability of medical staff means only one doctor is on duty as a supervisor. The overall experience has been incredibly frustrating and disheartening, leaving me feeling abandoned when I needed care the most.

You would rather me wait and go to the er to wait hours for what you know is a slim chance they help? Where i say pain and because they can't see it i am labeled as 'drug seeking'. I have no history of even getting any kind of pain help. Can't remember the last time I took more than motrin. At the er they ask you if you saw your PC. I am still in pain for what's been weeks now and all I have are appointments for more Dr's that take weeks. What kind of system is this? Its exactly why it took 3 years for them to get me back in there. Im sitting in front of this dr who won't help but says to go to the er. Its not a feasible option. You all need to do better. This system is just the ball being thrown somewhere else. Straight up the er doesn't want to catch your ball. We just get thrown back. We end up feeling like I feel. Like there is no help. You just pass it along until the person is just so exhausted they give up. There is no help at the ER ! Do your jobs and stop forcing people to suffer.

I'm a fat, queer woman, and I was very nervous about finding a new doctor when I had to for insurance. I found Dr. Haft on a list of LGBT positive providers, and she has been my doctor now for a little over 2 years. Every experience with her and her office has been very good. The office gets back to me quickly when I need to schedule an appointment, the staff is all friendly and professional, general good vibes. A few specific call-outs for others considering the office: - As I mentioned, I am fat. This does not prevent me from getting good care here, and it honestly has at other practices in the past. My weight is clinically discussed when relevant, but I always feel like I'm being viewed as a whole person with many health attributes including my weight. - Preferred names and pronouns were discussed and are confirmed each visit. Language around personal relationships is also neutral and includes various relationship style options and pronouns. This is great. - I've typically had bad experiences with getting blood taken, and have pretty deep veins on my arms. They have been successful here every time, which is unusual for me. - Sometimes the schedule is running behind, but I genuinely don't care. I alot a little extra time for my appointment on my calendar, but what I appreciate is that even if the schedule is running behind, you get full attention and time when you are being seen.

If I could give zero stars to MinuteClinic I would. I took my toddler to the MinuteClinic because…read morehe had recent onset flu-like symptoms and I didn't want to wait at a real urgent care or ED. The NP at the MinuteClinic told me my kid didn't need a flu test, but after my insistence (I am a physician myself and was sure he had the flu), the NP finally gave in. The flu test was indeed positive for the influenza B strain and it was early enough in my son's course for him to benefit from Tamiflu. They took my insurance and had me pay my copay. Everything seemed okay, right? 3 weeks later I get a bill of $170 despite my insurance, including an incorrect double charge for the rapid flu test. I figure, not a problem, I will call billing and get this straightened out. Here is where MinuteClinic needs to be investigated by the media and legislators, because it is impossible to reach a human being on their only customer service line at 1-866-389-2727. I waited 2 hours, only to be hung up. The next day, I call again, and immediately the transfer to billing goes straight to voicemail (!). I leave a message and was never called back. I try again the next week and the same thing happens. I can't for the life of me reach a human being despite asking for billing, customer service, supervisor, etc etc. Worst still is two months later, I get a third-party collections notice for this bill. It too has the same number for me to call to resolve the bill 1-866-389-2727. I still can't reach a human being to this day. I can only gather that this is done intentionally so that when patients receive a collections bill and cannot reach any human to resolve legitimate issues with the bill, we then are forced to pay the bill in full so as not to hurt our credit scores. Even trying to pay the bill took 1 hour of waiting on the phone. This is a disgrace and should be illegal. Never again will I go to or recommend any of my patients to go to MinuteClinic for the convenience. You will pay for it later in the sheer frustration of being unable to resolve a legitimate billing issue with a real human being and taken to collections anyway.
