I might be exaggerating slightly, but it seemed as though the store had around 100 different guitar and bass pedals on display to choose from. The Music Emporium is very well staffed. There were thankfully enough employees on hand for the store manager, Jarred, to take nearly 2 hours out of his day to sit down with me and show me around 10 different guitar pedals that I was interested in. In addition, he taught me how each pedal functioned individually, and how they would all work together as a unit. He was very patient with me, offered great suggestions, and ultimately helped me understand everything that I was hoping to learn with my visit. I ended up buying a full pedal board at the end of the day, and I am incredibly satisfied with the purchase. The store is very clean, spacious, and comfortable, boasting a huge selection of guitars, amplifiers, and other varied gear and accessories. The guitar pedal display, however, really stands out as the highlight of the Music Emporium. Before you visit Guitar Center or Sam Ash for the umpteenth time, try this place out. You won't regret stopping by!

The guitar tech at other shop kept trying to fix the electronics in my guitar, It kept failing. 3 different times I brought it into the other shop, and each time the tech there said it was something different. So after the 4th time, something went wrong with the electronics, and $150 later, I decided to find another shop. Enter Centerstage Music. I met Greg. he was friendly and helpful. He took the guitar apart right in front of me and said let check out the wiring, it might not need anything(He was trying to save me money on electronics, instead of trying to sell them me). I stopped him and explained after getting the run around from the other guy I just wanted to replace the electronics just so I didn't have to worry about them, plus it was an upgrade. He understood. In less than 18 hours he texted me it was ready to pick up. It was priced more than fair. He had me plug into one of the many cabinets that he had available and made sure I was happy with the voicing of the pickups. Let me tell you this thing sounds amazing. Not only are will they work on your gear, but they are mainly a rehearsal space and recording studio. I'm, not the typical guy who writes reviews ever(I wouldn't waste my time writing a negative one about the last place), I don't why, I just felt the need to write this one. The owner will regularly deliver guitars to my home in Queens. for no charge, he goes out of his way to hand deliver me gorgeous new guitars. I have had only all positive experiences with Monster music for so many years. After buying at least 20 guitars.. I started buying guitars from them 5-10 years ago and they are still the only local shop I support. Owner is super cool, and super honest about how he describes his vintage gear. I had exhausted amazon and ebay, most of which were dirt cheap and looked like it, when I found a post on craigslist about this music store. Scott is a total character, his family are all musicians and his father played alongside Duke Ellington (and there are pictures around the store which show it). I took the LIRR from manhattan to this unknown hamlet out in Long Island, grabbed a cab and 5 minutes later was in front of a sketchy seeming music store. Scott let me in and showed me around his incredible instrument warehouse. He had all the options for me set up, tuned and ready for me to play with, and taught me all about the features of the various cellos. They have an on staff luthier to hand-carve their bridges and sounding posts, and I was really impressed with the level of care they cleary took of their instruments. Add to that, they have a 3 year get half your money back deal, which is great for children and adults who may get bored. After buying a wonderful cello for maybe 1/3 of what I would have paid in the city, he drove me to the train station. Such a surreal yet amazing experience. He started at a 3/4 size but it was slightly too big after a month or so on playing on it, and they easily switched us to a 1/2 size. Awesome! Everyone who works here is beyond friendly and helpful. Recently, my son accidentally broke the bridge on his cello. I called, thinking this was going to cost $$$ but it was covered under our rental agreement! Whew! Luckily my son wasn't going to forgo some allowance to chip in on this. I dropped it off mid-morning and it was ready the next day. I brought in the broken bridge and the guy working there (I forget his name!) custom made a brand new one. If you want friendly and reasonably priced rentals, this is the place to go. They also have lots of instruments for sale - string, keyboards, guitars, ukes - anything you need! And you won't find nicer people anywhere, of that I'm sure.

!!BEWARE!! Weiner…read moremusic is a SCAM Specifically ordered the old style Clark fobes barrel. They sent me the new version. I emailed them right after delivery about this and received no response, but on their website they updated the photo after my email. I called them and said I wanted the old barrel if you can check stock and if not available call me and set up a return. They falsely advertised the incorrect product, and blamed me for this. They deducted $9 for a cleaning fee of a barrel that was never used, and again the incorrect item. The people working the phones are morons and scammers. I utilized this place for years and referring my students to purchase equipment and instruments since 2015. And buying reeds while on broadway tours. That all ends NOW Take your business elsewhere. Photos below show my email complaint. The original photo on my invoice for the barrel I wanted (very blurry pic) and then the return invoice minus $9 with the updated new barrel (that I didn't want)
