School of rock has made me feel so happy and so at home! Monica and Dylan have played a huge part…read morein this amazing experience! I definitely recommend!!

I had my daughter here for 4 years. But toward the end Monica decided to vilify my kid over a lie…read moreabout her sharing a picture of one of her employees Tom in his Halloween costume with other students, said Corporate called her over it because they monitor my 12 year olds daughters social media accounts. Corporate knew nothing of this, we did reach out to them!! That was not the only thing Monica say to her that didn't jive, but in short Monica annihilated my daughters confidence to the point she almost quit music all together. After speaking to Monica about it she assured me they would make the changes needed to make her feel at home and rebuild her confidence. So we gave it another swing but sadly nothing changed. My daughter literally cried leaving the car to enter the building each time toward the end. So I yanked her...The silver lining is don't let one bad SOR ruin it for the others, We moved her to SOR in Farmingdale, and Rock Underground in Commack and she's loves them both.. you have options people make this place your last resort. Follow up to the below response. House band had zero to do with us leaving , in fact we had no issue with the reasoning she did not get in. It was the ambush you put me and my wife in, in your office. In fact very little was discussed about house band because you went on a tare of how my daughter took Tom's picture off his IG wall in his koala bear Halloween outfit. And how cooperate came down on you for it. And it was you who told Lexi that other 103 members came to you about Rosie further alienating her from her 103 peers. Dillon spoke about house band for 2 minutes at the end but by then Lexi was already in tears from your hammering. Had zero to do with house band but the fact you want to make it about that says more about you than I could ever.. Fact: house band results came out October 28th, if we had an issue surrounding the decision we would have quit October 28th not wait until December 21st And Monica why didn't Corporate know about the IG incident? You should know the same week Lexi came to apologize to Rosie for being disrespectful towards her we contacted corporate to do the same, apologize but they knew nothing about it Another lie! And that is where you finally lost me an Nikki. Look at the date of the below e mail. Well over a month after house band results. Which supports without question we didn't leave because she didn't get into house band that we were still dealing with a much greater issue. On Thu, Dec 2, 2021 at 8:35 AM James Haas Hi Monica Thanks for the call the other night. I spoke to Nikki and she was happy you reached out as well. We are both optimistic that the atmosphere will improve for Lexi and she will hopefully regain her enthusiasm with the Huntinhton School of Rick experience. We decided not to discuss it with Lexi because we didn't want to create an expectation of any kind, not did we want to muster up any old dust that is seeming to settle in regards to her confidence as a musician. We are hoping that with yours and your staffs engagement she will feel once again feel at home there before long and get back to the the fun part of being a member of your school. Remember that email ^^^ We gave you a second chance and you failed at it. Because you didn't give a crap!! And 3 weeks later nearly 2 months since house band results came out I sent this e mail on 12/21/21 Proving It has zero to do with not making house band. We stayed two months after house band results were out. It was the constant lies just like this one about us leaving because of her not making house band "Lexi Will not be returning to the SOR Huntington. It's been increasingly difficult for her to feel comfortable enough to walk through the doors there. We were hoping that would have changed over the last month or so. Unfortunately the anxiety building up has been increasingly compounded over the last several weeks. Please do not renew any reoccurring charges going forward for 103 and cease billing any lessons going forward. I recognize that today's lesson cancellation was last minute and by all means process that payment" Our good Google Review in the past in regards to a better time at your place. when you didn't get involved and lie like you do. For 6 months you told concerned families Sampson quit and left you in a pickle, but that was you playing victim. You fired Sampson!!! So more lies, you fired Sampson.. out of retaliation for Dawn quitting ..

If you're reading this, you're likely deciding on choosing a GMAT tutor. Fair warning: I am going…read moreto heap praise on Brian Prestia. So much so that you might doubt the authenticity of this review. If you have any doubts about Brian, the GMAT, my story--anything--I encourage you to message me. I am the kind of person that the GMAT chews up and spits out. I am not a great test taker. I'm not even a good test taker. At best, throughout academia, my success has been equal parts hard work and luck. Beyond that, to say that "I'm not good at math" is akin to saying "the US hasn't had the best response to Covid"--it doesn't even begin to detail how bad the situation actually is. When I took a cold GMAT in February of this year, I got a 630: Q39, V35. I took a ManhattanPrep class, which didn't really help much, but by April, I understood a) how the GMAT worked and b) if I wanted to score above 700, I'd have to invest considerable time and resources. In that light, I found Brian on Yelp and we had our first meeting in early April. Outright, if you went to school in the American school system, Brian is very likely the best tutor for you. There are courses out there, like TTP and Magoosh, that walk you through every nook and cranny of the GMAT quant section algebraically. I know because I tried both courses. Unless you went to school in India, China, or are naturally outstanding at algebra, it is wholly unnecessary to re-learn and master algebra for the GMAT. It's also, I can imagine, incredibly time consuming (at least moreso than the 3-4 months I spent studying). The GMAT is a reasoning test, not a math test, and it rewards people who understand how to play the game. Brian shows you how the game works, what the GMAT is looking for, and most importantly, provides structure and sense to an otherwise unstructured, frustrating process. Brian is immensely patient, and he's adept at sensing where weak spots are. His approach to verbal is smarter and easier-applied than every other approach I've seen in other courses. If I could have created a GMAT tutor in a lab, it would come out looking a lot like Brian. I studied like a crazy person, and each session with Brian helped crystalize my learning. In my last few practice tests leading up to the real thing, I was consistently scoring Q50. That's a sentence I never thought I would type. Q50 is reserved for robots and weird kids with social issues that smell like cheerios and go to math camp. Or so I thought. Come test day, I got a Q49, V40: 730. A 100 point increase. Again, I don't believe I'd be typing that sentence if I hadn't worked with Brian. What's crazy is that I'm taking it again, because I know I can score higher than that. The GMAT has been my life over the past few months. I've read so many threads and posts from GMAT takers that would benefit from Brian's approach. If you can put in the work, and you have the time and resources to do so, Brian is the best option out there.

Brian is both a phenomenal tutor and a phenomenal person. His approach to tutoring his students is…read moreunique in that he does not drill into quantitative or grammar heavy rules, forcing you to learn difficult math and complex sentence structure, but rather relies on testing strategies that are become intuitive as you work with him. I was able to hit my target GMAT Score after several months of working with Brian because I could be strategic and pliable on complex questions, number pick and look for patterns when required, and even make educated guesses in a matter of seconds to narrow down especially hard problems into a 50/50 shot. In addition to his fantastic study approach, Brian is just a good guy. Wow no one enjoys studying, Brian would make every session entertaining, keeping me motivated and eager to continue the work. I always felt as though he was just invested in my personal process as I was myself. While I'm incredibly happy with the results from using Reason Test Prep as a tutor, I'll genuinely miss my weekly sessions. Could not recommend Reason Test Prep any more!!!!
