This guy is very odd. He sat down with me to fill out the paperwork. He gives me a clipboard and pen. "We are going to do the first page together. You are not to look at me, look at the page. If you are looking at me, you are not reading it." He starts to tell me, about my other care choices...but in very strange, long detailed descriptions. They do not correspond, in any way, to the words, printed, on the sheet of paper in front of me. He tells me that there are risks in having chiropractic treatments, giving really, strange detailed examples, including broken bones, & death from a punctured artery. Then he starts in on how many people die from regular medical treatments, (and this is when I started to get really creeped out...)
Brains exploding, descriptions of blood and gore....Me: "I need to stop you there, is this really necessary?" Him: "Yes it's required for me to tell you this" I say, really? all that you just said, is required by law, to be told to the patient? Can't you just tell me, "x amount of people die from bad medical treatments", etc... He said he needed to give examples.
Me: "This is making me uncomfortable and I am leaving". He didn't really seem that suprised. Something is very off with his bedside manner. Nope, I would not want this person to touch me. read more
