I came in right when they took over and got everything squared away as a new patient and then didn't see them for 3 years and they told me anyone they haven't seen in 3 years gets removed from the system and is no longer a patient.. and I'd have to be scheduled as a new patient and they didn't have any openings for 9 -12 months for new patients. So because I'm healthy and had no issues for three years they deleted my 30 years of records from Hobert and removed me as a patient. I've heard this exact story from other Hobert patients. My parents were still with them up until recently when they told us they were no longer working with their healthcare. We called the healthcare who said that wasn't true at all and then called back to tell them they are willing to pay and if they send them the bill it will be taken care of only for them to tell us they are lying to you and rudely told us they weren't arguing about it anymore (after only 2 quick phone calls) and that they were no longer using that healthcare and we could only pay out of pocket or find a new healthcare. Each time I've talked with them on the phone I felt as if I was at the dmv. The drs seemed okay even though the one time I came in I felt like I was being rushed out the door or I was just being used as a training situation, and my father felt as if he was never listened to and almost always rushed out the door. It's a shame they took over a staple in the community only to reject that community.

Dr. Carpenter is amazing. She always listens to me and has no problem. Ordering tests when needed. I hope she's in practice for a very long time. The front of the office staff is incredible. They're always so kind and caring, and Salvador Fierro has always had my referrals ready for me and any notes that I may need for work before I leave the office. He's also been extremely timely And thorough with disability paperwork. He is a great asset to that office. I highly recommend the Von Stieff medical group.

There were probably 1-2 other patients waiting in line. The front receptionist is nice. She is also the one standing as a med tech who tool my medical stat. I asked how much will be my Co pay and the last didn't answer my questioned. She said I have to wait to be check in in order for me to know my Co pay turns out she run my card without telling me how much I will be paying for. They have a rapid test on me and because I have Kaiser I need to pay 125$ for the test result to be sent out. Crazy. I'm lucky I only have these symptoms and not major medical issue. Do I waited for minutes and I finally told them I'm not gonna wait for my receipts and guess what the last told me I have to be verified and the Billie will be mailed. X-rays came back clear. I started antibiotics. Good news! It seemed to work! My foot was getting better! I was already writing my 5 star review! Now for the bad, Then, after I stopped taking them, pain started getting worse again. Just need a refill so the rest of the infection goes away. To be clear the meds I am speaking of are used for acne and the like (bacteria). They are not pain meds or anything someone would want too much of. The app they have you use is not connected to a human and has been very frustrating. The app also allowed me to ask for a refill automatically with no response at all. They are not returning my phone call. I find this very unprofessional. It appears they won't help me at all until I make another appointment! Which of course costs $$$. I shouldn't have to make another appointment even virtual and pay you more money to show you the same thing. All that does is waste my time and money and double your profit. They suddenly called today(Tuesday) and told me I missed my appointment and had no future openings. The labs show signs of my body is fighting something too. I was so so anxious after reading some of the reviews here and I'm sure there have probably been some genuine bad experiences by some patients but I couldn't imagine Lea'Tasha or Kim having ANYTHING to do with those negative experiences at this hospital. I go see her a few times a year for various reasons, and I always come away thinking that I have the best doctor in the world. She remembers things I've told her about my life from like 5 years ago! She's warm, compassionate, very intelligent, and makes me feel like I'm her only patient when I'm there. There is never a hesitation to have any kind of test done that she thinks I might need or to refer me to a specialist. I know she's busy, but I can also always get an appointment either that day or the next day. Today I called her at 11:30 and saw her at 3. She's a family practice doctor, so she sees people of all ages, so I'll be sticking with her for hopefully a very long time.
