After about four months of struggling with PPD, I made the decision to pursue permanent birth control a decision I now deeply regret. I was told by Dr. Cheruba Prabakarthat my tubes could not be tied and that they had to be removed. During the consultation, she asked if I wanted more children. At the time, while clearly struggling emotionally, I said no. She stated that since I was 39, it was a good age for this procedure if I did not want more children. I understand that the decision was 100% mine, however the state of mind I was in was not capable of making a life-changing, irreversible decision. I strongly believe that when working with women -- especially postpartum women -- it is a physician's responsibility to recognize warning signs of postpartum depression and emotional distress and to implement safeguards in their practice. What I needed at that time was help and support for my PPD, not a permanent procedure that altered my body forever. Instead, the process felt quick and not thorough. There was no screening for postpartum depression, no encouragement to wait, and no discussion about how temporary emotional states can affect long-term decisions. Now, three years later, I am 42 years old and desperately want another child. Time is running out. I am now facing IVF, with no guarantee that my insurance will cover it since this is considered a decision I made for myself. My eggs are older, the odds are lower, and the emotional and financial burden is overwhelming. I wish there had been more caution, more counseling, and more time given before moving forward. I also hope that by sharing this experience, changes can be made so that another woman in a vulnerable postpartum state is not placed in this position. I am beyond sad and angry about my situation, I wish i could of tide my tubes and maybe reversal would of been an option now there is nothing absolutely nothing i can do. and time is running out.

I called in multiple times but they were at lunch. As soon as I got through to someone I informed them I was in traffic but would arrive around 15 minutes after my appointment and if it was ok. They said sure! We will make note of it in your chart and see you soon. I arrived and then said the NP can't see me. Why did you let me keep driving for 30-40 minutes when I could have just turned around? I honestly am in shock to their disregard. They could have easily told me we will have to reschedule when I called in. I'm extremely disappointed. Will never return

Rose Senior Vemulapalli Physicians (RSVP) made my second pregnancy the best experience yet. A huge…read morethank you to everyone I met here, especially Lauren A and Dr. V! You all are the best! I can't thank you enough for taking such amazing care of my mental health, my baby boy, and my pregnancy. If you're new here, be sure to read this review thoroughly so you're fully prepared to have as great of an experience as I did! What to Expect as a New Patient: First things first, if you're a new patient, call to schedule your appointment. Before heading in, make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. When you arrive at the office, get in line, be ready to show your insurance card, and then wait for your name to be called. Once it's your turn, they'll take your weight and bring you to a room to meet with your midwife or doctor. Before that, you'll have your blood pressure checked and be asked a few routine questions, like your preferred pharmacy. First Pregnancy Check-Up: If this is your first pregnancy check-up, they'll likely bring in a monitor to confirm your pregnancy. If you're expecting, congratulations! After that, you'll have regular visits, typically once a month, to monitor your baby's heartbeat. Future Check-Ups: As your pregnancy progresses, the frequency of your appointments will increase. You'll go from monthly visits to bi-weekly appointments, and by 36 weeks, you'll likely visit every week. In between appointments, you'll need to complete your glucose screening and blood work at a separate location. Labor & Delivery: When it's time for your baby's arrival, be sure to call the office so they can prepare John Muir for your delivery. Then, just load up your baby bag and head to the hospital. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by one of the midwives who has been with you throughout your pregnancy. By now, you'll feel comfortable with the staff, so you'll be in good hands. One thing to note: While they strive to have your preferred midwife or doctor with you during delivery, they can't guarantee it. However, when I delivered my second son, Lauren was there to help, and she was incredibly professional and took great care of me and my baby. Post-Labor: After delivery, they'll follow up with you and schedule your postpartum check-up for six weeks after your delivery. Overall Experience: Overall, I never felt like my care was transactional. The team at RSVP took the time to truly listen to me, address what I was going through during my pregnancy, and even helped me through the recovery process after delivery. I can't recommend them enough. 10 stars!!!

Something that we struggled with for a while due to age was infertility. We had actually seen several fertility specialists during this long journey, and have gone through 3 rounds of IVF (2 mini's and 1 conventional) as well as an IUI. Although they were all unfortunately unsuccessful, we discovered that not all fertility clinics and doctors are created equal. While we found that many doctors take a very traditional, rigid and cookie cutter approach to treatment. Focusing more on luck through repeated attempts, Dr. Aimee was much more focused and tailored in her regiment. We always felt informed during this process, and confident in Dr. Aimee's recommendations. And unlike other clinics, we were always able to get ahold of Dr. Aimee directly. Instead of communicating with a nurse who would then pass the message along to the doctor if they felt it needed escalation. Along these lines, we were always shocked at how quickly we were usually able to get a response from Dr. Aimee. Sometimes even late at night. We often joked that Dr. Aimee probably doesn't sleep. Our only complaints about going with Dr. Aimee revolved around a few issues: 1) The initial application process to get a consultation with Dr. Aimee was lengthy, difficult, and required a lot of chasing from my wife due to poor follow-up and communication from the office. The individual handling review and processing of new patient applications would often go awol for days on end after sending out limited communication. 2) Billing was oftentimes not very clear and created a need for us to meticulously examine our bills line by line to ensure accuracy. 3) Dr. Aimee does not accept any insurance so 100% of the costs will be out of pocket. In addition, her rates are substantially higher than other clinics. Although we were ultimately unsuccessful with IVF, we were eventually blessed with a miracle baby through natural birth. Despite this, we would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Aimee to anyone looking for fertility care.

After years of terrible experiences, I was at the point where I had been procrastinating and fearful of trying to find another doctor. I had been having a variety of health issues, both gynecological and with my kidneys, and I had learned to live with the pain. Dr. Yee showed empathy and concern and provided thorough and thoughtful care -not by just doing the physical examinations and tests, but by taking the time to really talk to me about my health history and what I had been experiencing. She provided a plan and followed up consistently. She referred me when I needed surgery, and helped me when no one, not even a specialist could complete a biopsy. And she listened when I said that I experienced pain the last time and the other doctor dismissed me and said I didn't need pain relief for a procedure because it would be painless, quick and easy. Dr. Yee assured me she could provide some additional measures to numb me and make me as comfortable as possible. I could have cried - to have a doctor who listens and cares this much about their patients is a rare find. Dr. Yee's care resulted in my eventual diagnosis of several issues I was unaware of and needed surgery for. I am now 4 months post op and I just know when I return to Dr. Yee for my future care she will be just as attentive and focused on my experience as she was the last time. Thank you for being so wonderful Dr. Yee!

They have to do better as I have never heard of a doctor's office making a patient wait on hold 45 minutes to make a simple appointment. Why don't they have appointments online or use a AI receptionist? They cannot expect patients to wait on the phone to get a simple appointment. I hope the office can improve this with technology that is available.

They are always welcoming, professional, and efficient. I've mostly seen Kathy Kogar, who has been consistently informative, helpful, and great at addressing any questions or concerns. She follows up thoroughly and is very detailed with her exams, which I've always appreciated. The office and bathrooms are always clean, which makes every visit more comfortable. What I think could be improved: I haven't interacted much with the doctors themselves (other than when I had a cesarean -- Dr. Sullivan was wonderful), even though my visits are billed at doctor-level fees. It would be nice if the doctors were a bit more present during regular visits. That said, the excellent staff, attentive care, and overall positive experience keep me giving this office 5 stars.
