They have you count backwards from 30 and I never remember reaching 25! You're out. You feel great afterwards. Before the endoscopy i got from Dr. Tack's office, I had one about 23 years ago when instead of being knocked out I was just IV'd with valium and while it was probably the best technology they had at the time, it wasn't as easy and the beginning was uncomfortable. Dr. Tack has a great professionalism to him as well. Very matter of fact and lets you know what you need to with a voice befit for a radio announcer. Only been there twice, but came up Aces both times.

Then he sent me for the same test I had already completed. This was unnecessary and the test did not need to be repeated at all. I mentioned to him that his office had received my records and to please not repeat what I had already done. I was Very displeased with Dr Ian Storch on so many levels. He even yelled at me over the phone twice, belittled me and definitely spoke down to me which made me very uncomfortable. I will never go back to Storch ever again. He is arrogant, has a temper and lashes out at patients which is unprofessional and unacceptable. In addition, he is not that great of a doctor. Seek your care from another Gastroenterologist. He was the First Gastroenterologist doctor I had ever seen. He said I was fine and forgot to do a physical exam. I had to remind him to do a physical exam which was imperative. Prior to seeing him I saw a Nurse at a different office who ordered the correct lab work. Since I wanted to follow up with a Doctor, I went to Storch's office and was dissatisfied. In any event, I SINCE THEN I have found caring, kind, thorough MDs who have been absolutely wonderful.

The young lady was very nice as she directed us to the right place. They are still very thorough with the covid check as the check temperature before going inside, give you hand sanitizer when coming in and ask you to use before leaving & of course everyone was wearing a mask. I think it's great and they are keeping a safe environment. My aunt and uncle had nothing but great things to say about their experience with Dr. Felicia Mersky They said she is very polite and soft spoken. They appreciated the patients that she had and strongly recommended her. The facility overall was clean and tidy.

Dr. Stein actually came by to apologize for the delay and make sure I was comfortable while waiting. If you have gastrointestinal issues I highly recommend LICHD in Uniondale, NY.

My stomach was a mess for months -- I had my first doctor misdiagnose me (see Dr. Beckerman review) Then another doctor break up with me, basically told me my blood test results made no sense and told me there was nothing he can do. (He's lucky he doesn't have a page on yelp to review) Then Preeti Mehta to the rescue. Although my symptoms were bizarre, and nothing added up, she took initiative, put me on antibiotics immediately, and when that didn't go as planned, she gave me an endoscopy the SAME DAY as my appointment! She even gave me her cell phone number in case I had any emergencies. She is incredibly upbeat, super caring, and an all around genuine person.

When I went in for my scheduled colonoscopy, I was kept waiting several hours before I was taken into the procedure room. I made a follow up appointment and was called that afternoon that the doctor was unavailable but she can call me later that day they would call to check me in to obtain my co-pay who charges a co-pay for a follow up to a procedure. I've never had to do that before they called me to check in 30 minutes after they said they would and the doctor would be calling me in 10 minutes. It is now an hour later and I still haven't received a call. I'm going into the office to collect my records and will never use this facility again.

I had been a patient of Dr. Lazar for many years, and in 2017 I was understandably anxious about being treated by a new physician. This time I had no anxiety, whatsoever, because I knew how I would be treated. Dr. Bansal and his staff made me feel like I was the most important patient in the practice. Whenever I see Dr. Bansal he greets me warmly, never rushes me, and takes the time to answer all my questions until he's sure that I understand the answers. Kristin, the scheduling coordinator, carefully explained the prep procedure and returned my call promptly the day before my colonoscopy when I was confused about the directions. Courtney at the front desk is a star receptionist. Marisol and Shoba, the surgical assistants, made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked into the suite until I walked out. The amazing Dr. Chen offered me a Pina Colada (IV) and described the sand on the beach until it was "lights-out". And of course, the gentle, caring demeanor of Dr. Bansal is one you rarely encounter in a busy doctor these days. I'm so very comfortable in this office! No, the prep isn't comfortable, but the procedure can save your life. If you're hesitating, for ANY REASON, don't. Make an appointment at this office and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Have had some really bad experiences with this office, first time I went there the nurse…read morepractitioner messed up drawing blood and I had to go back, next time trying to make an appointment the nurse practitioner and the front desk both gave false information to make their lives easier and get me off the phone, and told me to go to a quest to get my blood drawn without a recommendation from my doctor and wasted my time, the next time I call them up I tell them it's months later and an emergency the doctor doesn't have any appointments for a month and I'm told I'm out of luck by the front desk person. If you value your health, being treated with common decency like every human does, don't go here.
