I grew up going to this clinic. I had the same doctor for my entire childhood and majority of my…read moreteen years. They're a very fond memory in my childhood; they were so patient and welcoming despite all the times 6yr old me made their and the equally kind nurses' lives hell by screaming anytime I got a flu shot. My mother worries a lot and used to bring me in for a visit even if I had just a mere cough, but this doctor would be so attentive and check me thoroughly so they knew exactly what to do for me. I'm an adult now, but I'm still connected to my parent's insurance so I might as well use it for as long as I've got it. I truly hope that doctor doing well in their retirement, but I do wish they would come back just to see what a drop of quality this place has become. I've been feeling this for a while, but my most recent visit really made me write this review and decide to look somewhere else for my future doctor visits. So I needed to come in to get my ears checked bcuz they were building pressure and I knew they probably needed clearing and maybe some drops. I don't want to write off the staff as incredibly nasty and/or rude, but I always get the sense that they just don't give a crap about anyone. You stand for check-in for about 15min as the lady click clacks on her computer just to be told to have a seat. Like, ofc we know to do that, but why hold for 15min as if you're gonna tell us something?? We also get interrupted frequently and they give us this weird attitude paired with their answers. So not the most welcoming. So we sit for like, an abnormally long time. It's abnormal because the place is DEAD. I remember a time when the waiting area, BOTH areas, were jam packed even at obscure times, so waiting a while was brutal but expected. But there were literally TWO people waiting with us, and somehow we ended up waiting for an hour??? Maybe it's because of COVID, like maybe they need time to clean, but when I eventually went inside to the second waiting area, I saw them sanitize an used room and that took, at most, 15min. So I really didn't know what the hold up is for. So after waiting in the main room and the second room for an unnecessary long time, I am finally seen by the doctor that took over since the one I talked about retired. And just like their staff, they are very much distant, cold, and acts like they can't be bothered. I've been seen by them a good number of times, and they always walk in without a greeting, sit at the computer to stare at it with a few clacks, and mutter "how can I help". We don't even feel like we're listened to anyways; all they do is just look at my face, check my throat maybe, and send me off. This time was no different. And when I tried to tell this doctor "I think my ears need to be cleared, there's a little pain--" I literally didn't even finish when they cut me off with "sorry I don't clean ears." I say "I'm sorry what." and they reply simply with "our ear machine broke 5 years ago so we don't do ears. Sorry, go elsewhere." And we walked out, baffled. This is what truly pissed me off. The staff knew my mother and I were coming in for ears. When we checked in, we told them it's for ears. We waited for an hour JUST for ears. At NO POINT did ANYONE say that they cannot treat ears because "their machine broke". I know it's the doctor that ultimately decides the treatment and the treating, but you mean to tell me that no one BUT the doctor knew the status of their 'machine'? No one bothered to ask? Even if I kept my ear problem vague and didn't describe what was wrong, couldn't they at least said a disclaimer that they can take a look but cannot treat it because their equipment is down? They literally wasted our time for what was supposed to be a simple visit for a simple task. To add onto our bafflement, they didn't even refer to another place that does do ears until my mother asked for it. And when they did, it was a generic sounding office and not even the NAME of the doctor they were referring! Like, they don't even know who they're sending us to??? No, thank you. We ended up going somewhere else for my ears. But now we're really trying to research other places and switch my primary physician because this place just became god awful and it sucks because my entire family's been going here for over 20 years. Btw their decorations are also bland. It used to be painted with Disney characters and full of life. Really kills the nostalgia for me. If I could give negative stars just for that I would.

Maryann was one of the first receptionist to give me a next day appointment or the option of another days appointment. I have asthma and when I'm calling to see the doctor I was always given an appointment later in the week. I was always told to go to Urgent Care or the EMERGENCY ROOM. Maryann is very professional, has personality and makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Kovoor is a good doctor and if you need something his receptionist always relays his messages to him and he gets back to you. He has always called me back with every test results. I don't have to keep calling the office for my results. I've been with him for many years.

But the Nurse Practitioner is always available! I was very ill back in February with bad bronchitis (I went to Urgent Care). I am writing this to let people know, keep your loved ones away from this practice. This office held my grandchildren's medical records hostage, and they were not allowed to return to school and daycare until I paid out of pocket for them to get physicals at another clinic. Office staff repeatedly claimed that my daughter never mailed the correct forms (of course I have email proof that she did). They also claimed that she never sent the form for the oldest boy. Before making the 2 hour drive to pick up their records, my daughter was assured that they were ready, and when we got there they were not. They refused to fill them out while we waited, even though they knew that my grandson had been denied admission to school. When I became hostile, The doctor said that she would only fill the forms out for me if I waited until she had seen all other clients. I sat in the waiting room for hours until the practice closed. Then, instead of finally giving us the forms, she called the police. When they FINALLY emailed the physicals, instead of filling out the form that was for the younger boys, the doctor had filled out the form for the older boy. The form they said my daughter never sent. Since they filled out the incorrect form for each child, the school and daycare still would not take them, so they were still useless. Also, when giving my 1 yr old grandson his vaccination, the assistant asked me to step aside, then attempted to inject his thigh without restraining him in any way, or even holding his leg still. He jerked and she dropped the needle, scratched my grandson's leg. Blood everywhere. She was completely unapologetic, only saying, "whoops!" While smiling. Did not even offer a Band-Aid. I told my daughter she should not have taken my grandbabies there. My husband and I always argued about taking our own children there when they were little, because the doctor never actually treated any of our concerns, and my husband was constantly following up by taking them to the emergency room for non-emergent treatment. He liked her because she was "nice," which I always argue did not help if our daughters were not getting good treatment, but her associates and assistants are not even nice. Completely fed up with this private practice running like a clinic that does not care about its patients at all.

Absolutely no taste and sick people need proper nourishment. I was admitted and for dinner they served me process meat with gravy on it. No fresh fruits were ever served. Most hospitals have peanut butter and je sandwiches prepared in case the patient didn't like dinner or if they were still hungry after dinner but not this hospital. Parking in the garage was an issue because I drove myself to the ER after work and parked in the garage. I live in Connecticut so there wasn't a family member available to move my vehicle right away and the hospital administration DO NOT offer free parking to patients that are there for emergency and subsequently get admitted.
