Whether you have a standing appointment or need to come in for immediate care, you will be accommodated and well taken care of. Dr. Kobren and the group here are part of NYU Langone Medical and they are well equipped to handle your PCP needs. They also do great with cardiac care. Their equipment is top notch and most of the testing you need for basic, non-emergency care can be handled right on the building. They share the floor with dentists Drs. Lawrence Kobren and Michael Greenbaum and the shared waiting area has been completely renovated and remodeled not too long ago. It is very attractive and clean and can accommodate plenty of patients. You can also watch a little TV to make your wait time pass a little quicker and more enjoyably.

Our pediatrician reached out to their office, and they welcomed us right away as a walk-in. Dr. Freedman did a fantastic job with her wound, expertly placing 5 stitches even as my daughter squirmed and cried. But it gets better. Two weeks later, she fell again at daycare, reopening the same wound. I got the call as I was leaving work to pick her up. Scrambling for options, I called Dr. Freedman's office at 5:45pm on a weekday evening. His staff answered, and without hesitation told us to come right in. I didn't arrive until 6:35pm, yet we were welcomed warmly and brought straight to a patient room. Dr. Freedman and his nurse were both once again extremely kind and patient towards my daughter. They stitched her back up while doing their best to keep her calm and comfortable. They sent her home with three lollipops and smiles all around. I will be forever grateful for the warmth, respect, and genuine care their office showed my family. This is level of treatment is extremely hard to find these days. From the front desk to Dr. Freedman himself, everyone made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. My findings today, at 611 Northern Blvd, there is a huge park and lock/ parking lot and I believe they have a lot underneath I saw it when I drove past the aisle that I meant to turn into. I found out that they have two elevator entrances on both sides of the building. Going inside to the doctor's office, there's a glass entrance as you enter the suite you walk to check-in there's 5 windows numbered and marked with the doctor's name , a chart in the front to direct you to which window that coincides with each doctor. It seems well organized. A huge spacious waiting area is provided with a few high top seating, a double seater, and a lot of single chairs. The aesthetics are, as any doctor's office; you know, a bunch of medical docs (no pun intended, but it just happened) and brochures as well as advertisement. I had a pleasant visit from check in to check out. Dr. Danoff was jovial and I did appreciate that. It was great humor with eye contact. My visit was for joint issues. Dr. Danoff was every thorough with providing detailed information and I did feel comfortable seeing him. I've heard that he was a really good doctor, first impression... So far so good! I finally got called and was told the normal wait time is 2 hrs. I was told this by two people. Then I was told that I had to get my eyes dilated. What? I just had them dilated and there was an issue, that's why I was referred here. That'll be another 3+ hours of time that I would not be able to work. Why wasn't I informed of this when I made the appt? Why can't they look up my records? The referral came from Dr. next door in the same hallway who is in the same hospital network. I feel like they're trying to milk you. Total lack of consideration from this office. It's like they feel you have nothing else better to do but sit around their office. This place feels like a clinic. Come here if you have 2 hrs to wait and possibly the rest of day. There's gotta be lots of other retina specialists who treat you humanely or at least how they would like to be treated.
