I came here due to a change in my medical insurance and from a referral from a friend and have not regretted it. Whether you have a standing appointment or need to come in for immediate care, you will be accommodated and well taken care of. Dr. Kobren and the group here are part of NYU Langone Medical and they are well equipped to handle your PCP needs. They also do great with cardiac care. Their equipment is top notch and most of the testing you need for basic, non-emergency care can be handled right on the building. They share the floor with dentists Drs. Lawrence Kobren and Michael Greenbaum and the shared waiting area has been completely renovated and remodeled not too long ago. It is very attractive and clean and can accommodate plenty of patients. You can also watch a little TV to make your wait time pass a little quicker and more enjoyably.

I came in as a walk-in and he managed to squeeze me in on his busy day, his front staff was great too. Doctor Kobren went above and beyond to find a solution to my problem and that's shows a lot about his character and not mention he is one of the best doctors I have been to.

Dr. Freedman and his staff are courteous, kind, and compassionate beyond belief…read more My 3-year-old daughter fell at school and hit her chin on playground stairs, requiring stitches. Our pediatrician reached out to their office, and they welcomed us right away as a walk-in. Dr. Freedman did a fantastic job with her wound, expertly placing 5 stitches even as my daughter squirmed and cried. But it gets better. Two weeks later, she fell again at daycare, reopening the same wound. I got the call as I was leaving work to pick her up. Scrambling for options, I called Dr. Freedman's office at 5:45pm on a weekday evening. His staff answered, and without hesitation told us to come right in. I didn't arrive until 6:35pm, yet we were welcomed warmly and brought straight to a patient room. Dr. Freedman and his nurse were both once again extremely kind and patient towards my daughter. They stitched her back up while doing their best to keep her calm and comfortable. They sent her home with three lollipops and smiles all around. I will be forever grateful for the warmth, respect, and genuine care their office showed my family. This is level of treatment is extremely hard to find these days. From the front desk to Dr. Freedman himself, everyone made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. I hope I don't need to bring my daughter back anytime soon, but if something comes up that falls in Dr. Freedman's wheelhouse, I'll be coming here without hesitation!

Reading the reviews of past visitors, I see no pictures, no profile picture, zero friends, outdated…read morereviews. My rant is, users Yelped to make a complaint and das (That's) it. My findings today, at 611 Northern Blvd, there is a huge park and lock/ parking lot and I believe they have a lot underneath I saw it when I drove past the aisle that I meant to turn into. I found out that they have two elevator entrances on both sides of the building. Going inside to the doctor's office, there's a glass entrance as you enter the suite you walk to check-in there's 5 windows numbered and marked with the doctor's name , a chart in the front to direct you to which window that coincides with each doctor. It seems well organized. A huge spacious waiting area is provided with a few high top seating, a double seater, and a lot of single chairs. The aesthetics are, as any doctor's office; you know, a bunch of medical docs (no pun intended, but it just happened) and brochures as well as advertisement. I had a pleasant visit from check in to check out. Dr. Danoff was jovial and I did appreciate that. It was great humor with eye contact. My visit was for joint issues. Dr. Danoff was every thorough with providing detailed information and I did feel comfortable seeing him. I've heard that he was a really good doctor, first impression... So far so good! Another reason to .... Inspire more, Yelp more!

Sicken Front desk experience. My wife having knee problems,…read moreso she went for the gel injections but turns out she has more pain on her knee after getting the gel injections. We are not knocking the doctor or the nurses. But the outpatient desk. Very very rude and unprofessional. When we check in on the second visit we started to notice how poorly their interaction with the patients. But today was worse, all these front desk people are like a gang. In front of us, the lady who checked us in at there desk openly saying loudly check to outpatient desk, "see if they have co-paid" and watching us with an attitude, while we wait for our follow up. And the outpatient desk is giving us attitude, like we don't understand this. Very Very unprofessional. I had to say openly deescalate, He was upsetting us, wife is in pain. And all that was needed just give us our papers and some advice on the next step. I leave them in Gods hand. But i will pray for justice.

The wait time in this office is long. Very long. Very very long. He seems to have a complete disregard for patient's time and other commitments. Waited 4 hours, then I had enough and left. Other patients said this is how he runs every day. Then why continue to overbook patients to such a degree? Very unprofessional. Front desk staff is not helpful either: They give false wait time estimates (or they also don't understand the doctor's system). If they could at least give accurate estimates, we could plan accordingly, take work calls while waiting, reschedule subsequent appointments, etc. - instead they just always say "you're next". They also do not take phone calls, let alone emails. Very difficult scheduling process. I've had enough of them. I have found a new neurologist and am referring my friends and family there as well.

(never experienced this with women professionals), not to mention that the doctor was in effect making fun of my son's last name (Wong). Was that really necessary? to a 12 year old? yes, REALLLLY APPROPRIATE, and cmon old man, give it up, you aren't really as funny as you think. its actually stupid. i think if I encounter this again elsewhere I will just call them out. Because i know how to greet someone appropriately and in a professional manner and it should be called out when someone obviously doesnt know how to do this.
