So when we planned a mini-reno of the kitchen, I called him again, because I knew he could remove the hanging soffit and repair the ceiling properly. The ceiling isn't popcorn, but it IS textured and Dan worked his magic and it looks perfect. I have no idea how he does this. Before/after photos below. Paintboy has even done an excellent job on my hard to match furniture pieces creating custom finishes to match my decor. I've never met anyone else who makes his own colors and can match any decor. My favorite finishes so far have been the metallic finishes, they are so realistic that friends have to physically touch the walls to confirm they are not real metal. John then replied in a rude and dismissive tone they only do estimates on Tuesdays. I'm not sure if they really are that inflexible for appointments, and deciding it wasn't worth my time arguing with someone with his poor attitude to determine if they really are so busy they can only set aside one day a week for estimates - not to mention ticking off potential customers. No problem. There are plenty of other painters out there willing to earn my respect and business.
