Have a contract with Pro 1. Johnny on the spot when they started were to come back and do some touch ups that were missed. Set a appointment for them to come out and finish, took off from work on that friday and they no showed. Now they are telling me they are not coming. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with this company's leadership. My wife and I saved up to have our kitchen cabinets painted by Pro1 and, at first, we were thrilled with the results! The fact that they took what was quoted as a one week job down to just a couple of days, was a nice bonus. That expeditious completion came at a cost. Several areas were (still are) chipping, thin (can see the original espresso through the paint) or otherwise just unsatisfactory not too long after completing. Pro1 promptly responded to our warranty case and told us that, while they will do touch ups (they did) in the meantime, the prep was not done correctly the first time and the cabinets would need to be redone. Fast forward over a year and we're still trying to have our cabinets corrected. Rene, the owner, told me that some of the chips/ missing paint are my toddlers fault. That there is nothing else wrong with them. Absolutely not true as I used the same exact paint (left overs) on a piece of furniture that we keep behind our couch, that takes an absolute beating, and it has held up. I took my time with the prep work. And you cannot dispute thin paint. Rene has since decided that, not only will he not provide any more touch ups, he will not make good on Pro1's word to redo the cabinets, either. He offered a full refund at one point but we've yet to see that either, since we were unwilling to sign his NDA. I've now been deferred to his company lawyer to settle the dispute as he feels he is being "harassed" by our reviews (see Kimberly's review below), but have been waiting over a month for that call as well. All we want is to put this behind us. We just want what we paid for. If you're looking to have kitchen cabinets painted I recommend looking elsewhere. read more

To this date Rene has not contacted me regarding the problems as noted in my previous review. He continues to run commercials touting how reliable the business is despite spinelessly refusing to return my calls and emails. I just don't want anyone else to fall prey to this unethical, unprofessional human. Make sure you go over your contract and don't believe anything he or his son say, get it all in detail in writing. read more

UPDATE: The day after I left my review I was contacted by Pro 1 Painters' coordinator, who scheduled my cabinets to be redone in December. Shortly after that, on the same day, Rene called me and demanded I take down my review. I told him not until the cabinets were done correctly. Several days later he texted me that he would be mailing us a refund instead of redoing the cabinets. Refund never came. I began painting my hallway, foyer and planned to paint my living room. After completion of the hallway and painting 8 feet up on my 20 foot vaulted ceilings, I decided it was a job for professionals-nothing like calling someone to fix your mess up LOL. Pro 1 Painters price was very reasonable & scheduling was not an issue either. Painting crew was professional and honestly were so quiet like a whisper! Absolutely love the new color and that I didn't have to paint the foyer & living room, 20 foot vaulted ceilings, over an iron rod staircase, etc. Jose was so informative and stayed in touch throughout the process. I could trust the crew to be in my home alone and they worked around my schedule (& my indoor pup) which was such a relief. I can't recommend them enough & we look forward to using them again in my kitchen. read more

We recently had our house in Craft Farm painted by Pro1Painters. We had many issues once Pro1Pinters declared they were 'done'. Areas of the interior of the house was not covered according to contract and all I got from the production crew were excuses for not completing the contracted job. I have even had the owner, Mr. Rene Pollet to walk through the house and said the quality of the painting was not to the standards of Pro1Painting. So he and his management crew, Brittany and Austin walked through the house and identified the issues that needed attention. Later, I met with the painting manager to go over the items that needed to be completed per contract yet the manager did not have a list of items as discussed with the Pro1Paint management so I spent the entire morning going over the items that needed to be addressed. That was a total waste of my time since I spent time with the management earlier to identify the issues. I'm not happy with the job Pro1Paint job on our house. I think Pro1Paint does cater to those residences that do rent out - many of those owners are just out to make income on rentals. Yet, we will live in our house and need a quality job that we could be happy with which Pro1Paint did not provide. I would not recommend Pro1Painters. read more

Pro1Painters did an excellent job on our kitchen and living room. Very reasonably priced, cleaned up any mess and even managed to get behind our fish tank that couldn't be moved. They were also very courteous to the fact I was busy working in the next room. read more

Purchased a new home that needed painting from DIY pain jobs and factory one color entire house deal. Searched for a paint company here in Mobile, got a few bids and HAPPY I went with Pro 1! From the start Kevin was detailed and gave pretty honest advisements.Kevin responds promptly for estimate concerns and any painting questions. No pressure, just facts and would be thankful if you chose their services. We are a military family and didn't want to feel pressured. Thats how Kevin approached my estimate. Melanie got me booked, color at Sherwin went great, Katie responded promptly with a financial question, and painters rocked the job! These painters, Don, Chris and the gentleman with the red beard (forgive me, I forgot his name) work SOO hard! They are PRECISE and go out of their way to be sure the job looks professional. The painters made sure they left it looking like new walls and ceilings. The value of my home increased and the way my paint job is, it TOTALLY made the home look custom. Prices are reasonable for the EXPERTISE they provide. Hands down, so far so good. I have 4 more rooms to complete and if all goes well, that last star will be added. Thats the ONLY reason I have it at 4 stars, because I dont want to jinx myself (If all keeps going well, last star will be added for sure), but these painters KNOW what they are doing. Don't shortchange yourself by hiring random people, stick to professional painters Pro 1 provides. The painters even have pleasant attitudes and I feel comfortable with them in my home, which says enough on its on. So heres to finishing my entire home. Thanks Pro 1! (P.S. PRO ONE PAINTERS - I spent over 10K with this company & still have not received all the services promised in the contract. 1 yr later & I still have light fixtures, things taped up from when they 1st painted/1 yr ago. Despite contacting them, I am now simply being ignored. It has been 1 yr now. From the beginning, house was not done on time for me to move in, pricing was changed/added too in the middle of the process - aprox 1500.00. All the time being assured everything would be done on time & all issues addressed. When I realized they were not going to be done, the movers coming in 3 days, I called the office, they did nothing. the owner ignored my calls. I offered the painters more to at least finish the basics. Even the office said this job was not set up correctly from the beginning, always confused when I would call. They were referred to me by Re Max Realtor, even they have contacted them on my behalf. Nothing. These companies will not stop doing this because it seems they can get away with it? We need to let people know when this happens to save their next victim. read more
