I have a student who is currently enrolled and our family doesn't see why our family has to look into other options when we have a high six figure paid leader who makes poor decision making and has an impulsive temper towards staff and students. I now call for action to all families that see the same as we do.

Where we've never felt like we fit in, there was a school where we could. This school is K-8 and just off of Montrose at Chelsea. Their goal appears to be to give children the ability to learn and develop skills in a safe environment with the intention of getting the kids back mainstreamed. It was crystal clear immediately that these people have the best intentions and the knowledge to fulfill those intentions well. This place is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but it is clear where the tuition goes. The ratio of teachers to kids is incredibly low and the children and staff alike seem happy. Ah, I forgot what that looked like. Best of all, the school was filled with kids just like mine. He was very relieved to finally be in the class and not stick out like a sore thumb. I don't know whether we'll be here in the fall, but I would highly recommend Joy to any parent whose child's needs aren't being met in a classroom setting due to ADHD, Tourettes, Autimism or the like. This is where Jesus is lifted up always. Even though the church has a large membership and growing, there are 4 services, so the effort has been made for all to attend. There is bible study, many programs to help with everyday life. The ushers and greeters are friendly. I would recommend this church if you want to grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. AND, if you want to learn the bible,, the truth of God's word. I pray the Lord continues to bless this wonderful body of Christians, led by William Lawson, Pastor emeritus and Dr. Cosby, the Pastor of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. In Infant 1 class, Ms. Eudora was patient, creative and persistent until our daughter was a bottle drinking champ. In Infant 2, Ms. Cody and the team provided so many exciting activities and were so excited to share updates as our daughter's language, social, fine motor and gross motor skills progressed. In the Infant 3 class, we have seen her vocabulary and motor skills grow even more. Ms. Yaleni, Ms. Ana and Ms. Evelyn make sure all her needs are met and she is academically stimulated.
