There was no regard for people parking to not block home owners' driveways, abide by city Houston no parking signs. There was maintenance of electrical workers and their trucks! City of Houston tickets cars for parking within 30' of interesections. In the midst of the chaos you have uber drivers delivery of food and city houston trying to repair an electrical circuit. I called Rosie at Ella baker last week about the parking on Maryland street of parents not abiding and blocking residents, garbage pick ip, emergency vehicles. She reassured me she would speak with principle. However, today was another mass chaos for parking on streets. I am now taking the problem to HPD and getting HPD to enforce parking Via towing and tickets. My question to Ella Baker: 1. What is your long term solution for parking in a highly congested neighborhood? A garage built.. a lot bought for parking? 2. How do you plan to enforce parents using the designated lanes for drop off and pick up? 3. How do you plan to get parents to abude by city Houston no parking signs, no PO marking and blocking driveways and no parking within 30' of intersections? Seems the parents need to walk or uber, Lyft. I am a Tax payer For city houston that supports this school. Lori Thompson Lori2996@gmail.com

During the past 10 years I have watched the level of education decline and some of the best teachers leave. The administration has always been very biased, but I never thought I would see it at this level. They LIE, misrepresent parents etc. Several students/parents will now be faced with going before a judge due to their poor education system and lack of management. I cannot believe how this school has gone down. I to waited for several hours for administrative personnel to complete my child's paperwork. It was only done after my current principal threatened to contact TEA. Best advice know what you are getting into.
