They have bathrooms attached to one end and a put putt course behind. The parking lot goes back a little further by some of the trail entrances and there is a playground. Paths are mostly paved or covered in stone. The path branches off to the high school and back to a event building. If it's your first time there I suggest taking a picture of the map so you can stay on course. If you choose the path that goes under the road it loops around a pond. The pond has a small floating dock. Great park if you have a little time to explore.

Every time I come here, I am always happy to see lots of people utilizing the park. There's a beautiful pagoda, a new and extensive playground, and a great walking trails around the very clean lake. The Berea Public Library is also in this complex, which I will also be giving its own review of 5 stars! I guess Berea resident's tax dollars are being used more wisely than those of us on the east side, haha!

Now I already know I'll be back, because we only explored part of it -- but what my sister, her pup, and I wandered through was fun, peaceful, and a little adventurous. At one point there was literally a giant mallard just standing in the middle of the woods like he owned the place. And then there were stairs that climb straight up the side of the mountain -- okay, hill -- but it felt like a mountain in the best way. The whole walk made me feel free. If you ever find yourself wanting a moment outside, a breath of fresh air, or just a place to wander, stop here. It's worth it.

Chairs were placed outside in a slightly wooded area with trees. Due to rain that started as soon as my friend, the bride, walked down the aisle, the wedding ceremony was cut extremely short. The whole ceremony took about 5 minutes because of the rain. After the ceremony, we all took cover under the white gazebo for about 20 minutes. Then, everyone proceeded to the cabin in the park where dinner would be served. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay for dinner but I briefly entered the building/cabin however, I didn't see much because I had to leave. It was most likely set up with tables and chairs for dinner. Regarding having a simple wedding here, it looks like alot of people do host weddings here. Give them a call at 440-356-4444 if you want an indoor wedding in the cabin or an outdoor wedding in the wooded area outside.
