They pricked my back with different catalysts and came up that I'm allergic to CATS.. I told the Dr. That I have never owned a cat and my neighbors and friends also don't own cats. They told me they would try another test where they injected me with small amounts of liquids tree, grass, mold ect ect. The final answer was cats.... Just cats...... Shortly after the visit they're billing me +$700 for their services... Very dissatisfied with their services. big waste of time and money.. Not flexible on reducing the price even though my problem wasn't solved. Avoid this place like the plague!

Not once did any of the nurses or the doctor ask about why we were there. Neither the nurses or the doctors introduced themselves. No one took any time to get to know anything about my daughter. Unsurprisingly, when the nurse did a finger stick without warning, my daughter became very upset. Neither the doctor nor the nurses did anything to comfort her or build a relationship. After going through several checks, the doctor told me to fill out part of a school physical. We weren't there for a physical. By that time, it was too late. I had to stop the doctor from running out of the room in order to talk to her about the actual purpose of the visit. Instead of sitting down to talk with me, she started making even more assumptions about my daughter. I had to explicitly tell her to write a referral for the specific thing I needed, but since she didn't ask any questions about insurance or anything, she wrote it wrong. I'm so frustrated that I don't even want to deal with them to get it corrected. Absolutely do not take your children here. We will never go back.

He was local and received good reviews so decided to try him. He examined me and told me my left nostril was severely deviated and he recommended surgery. Not wanting surgery, I elected to try meds and spray which didn't do much. I had my annual physical with my doctor this Feb and while we were wrapping up, I told him I was considering septoplasty surgery however wanted to do a sleep study first. My Dr. looked into my left nostril and right away told me to get the septoplasty done asap. I met with Dr. Bliz again to schedule surgery. He told me he does surgery out of Metro South in Blue Island. I was really hoping it'd be at Palos Hospital or Silver Cross in New Lenox, but whatever. My surgery was the second week of March. First of all, I was all wrong on Metro South. The place was nice and clean and the nursing staff were super friendly. So that was awesome. Next, recovery. It sucked, period. One piece of advice, DO NOT bend over to pick up anything after septoplasty. If you do, blood will gush out of your nose. Yes, that happened to me just a few hours after surgery and my wife had to rush me to Bliz' office. Well, he stopped the bleeding and I went home that weekend and just laid on the couch, changing bandages every few hours. Dr. Bliz gave me his cell number and told me to text (I could barely talk) or have my wife call if we had any questions over the weekend. I texted him a few times with questions and concerns and he replied right away which I appreciated. After a few days I went back to him as he pulled out the crap in my nose and I was finally able to breath through my nose for the first time all weekend, however, my left nostril was still clogged. He told me that it would take 2-3 weeks before the swelling went down before I'd notice I can finally breath through my left nostril. Right around week 3, it happened. I could FINALLY breath through my left nostril. Dr. Bliz did what he said he'd do, fix my nose. Not only did he do a great job but he's super cool and friendly too, which matters to most civilized people. I will refer anyone I know who is looking for an Ears/Nose/Throat doctor to Dr. Bliz. He now has a patient for life with me, my family and my friends.

Then he asks you questions about your malady, investigates different treatment options, and even takes the time to educate you on your condition. He's also a model of patience and persistence. I was a little lazy about using the peak flow test at first, but Dr. Handoyo didn't get annoyed. He just explained the importance of getting a good baseline record of my lung capacity and how it would help him to provide the best treatment, so I made a commitment to be a better patient. With the pandemic and his specialty, I know he is at a greater risk than other doctors, so I especially appreciate his professionalism and efforts to ensure the health and safety of his patients.

I've also had to go through some tests for possible asthma as I had a cough that lasted for about 2 weeks. Dr. Handoyo and the team of nurses had me take a series of breathing tests, which all seemed overwhelming, but they were all good about explaining why we were doing the tests and what the results meant for me. I really feel at ease whenever I've had to see him and feel very much like I'm taken care of after I leave my appointment. He also has convenient locations for those who live/work in the city. I've gone to his LIncoln Park and Loop office. The Loop office makes it convenient to make appointments during the work week and the Lincoln Park office is a quick train ride from work too.
