My first experience with Dr. David Cavazos D.C. goes back more then 7 yrs ago when I lived within a few blocks from the Doctors clinic. One day I had enough with this very excruciating pain in my neck, so I walked into Dr. Cavazos practice, and asked him if he could please help relive my pain. He immediately, seemed very sympathetic and understanding and put all his attention to my urgent need. First, he had me take an X-ray and recommended me start on a 20 session program involving a therapist massage, electronic pulsating massage, traction, vitamins and exercise routine. I did everything Dr. David told me to do and the pain slowly went away little by little after each session. Since his therapy and adjustments on me, I am forever grateful for all his services he and his staff had done for me. Funny thing, unbeknownst to me I found out later, my younger male 1st cousin had a very similar issue in his neck, I didn't know about. I wish he went to Dr. Cavazos first. He ended up having a surgical procedure where they had to go through his throat to relive his pain...ouch! This mid-summer coming out of nowhere I started to develop this lower back pain. Considering I have always been active, always doing something constructive, relatively healthy, eating well, exercises, stretching and not over weight, this kind of pain became very alarming and puzzling to me. I gave it about a week and then immediately thought of Dr. Cavazos. I went to his website and sent an email request to see if he could see me in the near future. I believe it was a Sunday night. That night I got a response that the Doctor could see me the next day on Monday at 5:30 PM. Once again Dr. Cavazos honestly, was very empathetic and has genuine compassion in all his patients needs and concerns. When I arrived that evening I told him, I could hardly stand up, due to the very excruciating pain in my lower back, buttocks and down my legs. He treated me like I was the only person in his clinic, although his clinic is a bustling environment with patients, doctors, massage therapists, and a receptionist that takes your temperature. First, was a in-house X-ray taken then the doctor read and explained his findings with me. immediately thereafter, in my work clothes he had me lay down on a table and began working on what he and his staff knows the best line of attack on relieving the pain and discomfort for my best long term repairs. Within the 20 or so sessions he said it would take, he was spot on. I was pretty close to no pain and back to normal around my 15th visit. My personal experience with Dr. David Cavazos tells me he is a very friendly, people loving person, and genuinely care about people, who operates a smooth running professional and knowledgeable chiropractic clinic. I would highly recommend and encourage anyone who is experiencing back, neck or any type of muscular joint pain to not wait to long, and don't worry so much about the money, just go to him and his outstanding staff, the sooner the better. Dr. Cavazos has 35 plus years experience and he knows what your experiencing and knows what program and how long it will take to get you back in shape. I myself can see how, as you age, gravity, heavy lifting, hard work and simple day to day life style can put pressure on your spine, disks, joints and internal nerves, and they can get out of alignment. One morning I woke up with low back pain so severe that I could hardly walk, which was a totally new experience for me. I had never been to a Chiropractor before, but I felt like I had to do something asap if I was going to have a chance to get through the full day I had scheduled. I found Dr. Cavazos Chiropractic after a google search, and also was recommended by my co-worker Judy so I was able to get an appointment within the hour. I didn't know how lucky I was to have landed at Dr. Cavazos' practice! I was early for the appointment, and Dr. Cavazos saw me ahead of schedule. I was having spasms of pain and trouble walking. As soon as he introduced himself and saw I was in pain, he carefully helped me walk to his office, which I thought was so nice given that I had just met him. Throughout the session he communicated everything he was doing, explained what was likely going on with my back, and talked to me about the road ahead and how we were going to take care of this. He put my mind at ease by explaining what he could tell was going on (and, maybe more importantly, what was *not* going on) with my back, and why I did not need an x-ray or MRI at that point. His bedside manner is outstanding and he is knowledgeable about how the body works and eating habits as well. Dr. Cavazos seems like such a genuine, caring person; it is obvious how important patient care is to him. Since then I took Mom, My Daughter, My ex-father-in-law, and my current girlfriend and because of him we are all healthy and walking again. I heard of Dr.Cavasos from a friend. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, arthritis of my spine and I have bulging disc of my lumbar and sciatica and I am 30- doctors recommend injections or surgery. I did injections and it didn't help. My friends husband was recommended to do surgery on his neck and he got treated by Dr.Cavasos and has been back to his normal self since. I knew I could trust her when she told me go see him. At that time I was seeing another dr. so I didn't go... Until last weekend 11/15/2020, I had excruciating pain down my hip and leg, it was a Sunday and my normal Dr. could care less to see me. I immediately called Dr.Cavasos office he picked up I told him I couldn't bare weight on my leg and I needed someone to relief my pain. He told me to come by. I will always appreciate Doctor Cavazos and his very professional staff! He is the Best Great Doctor!! Dr. Cavazos was my very own Christmas miracle sent from God himself to heal me !!! I am a 22 year old college student and late Christmas eve I started to develop severe pain on my C4 vertebrae. He successfully treats: - Auto Injuries - Workers Injuries - as well as Sports Injuries - Physical therapy for post or per-surgical treatments I was referred to his office for physical therapy to help elevate the pain in my wrists cost by carpal tunnel syndrome that I have been fighting for years now. He and his team went above and beyond in taking care of me and offering different kind of treatments to see what works best for me. I have had spasmodic Torticollis a cervical dystonia for 13 years now dual diagnosed with scoliosis of the spine by Doctor Connie Borgerding a North Carolina Haris Hospital Doctor. I have been given muscle Botox injections for 2 years until they ceased to be effective. I told the U of I doctor about this concern requesting a different strand of Botox. 2 unsuccessfull injections later and failure to collaborate with my concerns caused me to stop going. I have since been to physical therapy with North Carolina North western University personnel. I got an epidural injection in the spine, again unsuccessfull. Dr. David Cavazos is an excellent chiropractor and extremely wise physical therapist. I would even call him a man with an extraordinary knowledge and magic hands! I came to Dr Cavazos years ago with TMJ ! I was in excruciating pain ! He told me that in either 6, or 9 treatments, I can't remember exactly, my TMJ would be cured ! After the first treatment, I hardly had any pain left, and after the amount of treatments that he told me, I was pain free ! It completely went away ! I recently returned to Dr Cavazos, with knee and left heel pain ! He did a battery of X-Rays and found out that I had a heel spur, and that's why my left heel hurt ! He also did an X-Ray of my back, because I had back problems in the past, and found out that I had a low back enlarged abdominal aorta ! He told me that I needed to see a doctor, right away ! We started going to Dr. Cavazos in March of 2020. I went in first to see how it was before bringing my kids. I didn't know what to expect, I went in and they asked me why I was there and I said my back. They took x-rays and then after showing them to me they had me lay on a table. I thought they were going to just adjust my back, but that was not all they did. They gave a massage and loosen up my back so it would adjust better. i felt so much better when I left. At my visit I saw they had a sign about knee pain, my daughter had been struggling with it. After talking with the Dr. I decided to bring her in, little by little her knee got stronger. She was able to go from crutches to a cane, to nothing at all. It was amazing. The While my daughter and I were going twice a week, my boys wanted to go so I made appointments for them. My Name is Raquel Treviño-Comedienne. I started physical therapy with Dr. David Cavazos and his staff due to a very bad fall that I took because my ex husband had left tools in the way when we were working on my house and I tripped over them. Dr. D. Cavazos explained to me after he took x-rays that I had a broken branch of arteries and that if I had even nicked the femoral artery that I would have had only minutes to get to a hospital. After the fall I was left with a huge hematoma, I had ripped into the thigh muscle, my pelvis was shifted as well as having pain that was excruciating and I could barely walk. I love going to Dr. Cavazos. Not only have I been going there my whole life but so has my entire family. Doc has treated us all well and we leave there feeling much better than when we got there. Dr. Cavazos also has become like family, at first he was just very friendly and so was his team but now I have gotten to know a lot of them and Doc has helped through all my injuries. I am a starting varsity quarter back and also play basketball and soccer. Doc has helped me with all my injuries and kept me on the field no matter what. I haven't missed a single game due to pain for all 4 years of highschool. I've been going to Dr Cavazos for a week already and I couldn't be any happier for the results and care I'm getting, ive been having back pain for almost a year and I've been going to a chiropractor at chiro one which I do not recommend they over charge you and don't put any care on you, they try to quickly kick you out the door I saw no results my pain was still there. I search for more chiropractors around my area and that's where I found Dr David Cavazo he gave me a proper X-ray scan went over the the issues and at the spot; they took care of me and properly adjusted me, I walked in with major pain on my lower back and after the adjustment and massage they gave me I was feeling way better I was able to walk a lot better. If you are looking for a qualified and reputable Chiropractor, look no further than Dr. Cavazos! After being in pain for the last 2 months, and not getting better due to my left sciatica. I went to see Dr. Cavazos on Tuesday, August 1st, and my pain level was at a ten. He determined that it was not my spine pinching the nerve, but it was my pelvic that was the culprit because I was out of alignment. After being adjusted and massaged, I walked out feeling much better, and the pain had been reduced to a level 4. I went back the next day Wednesday, received the same care, along with the vibrating massager.
