I had a massage package with their sister spa before it closed. The spa told me the massages would be transferred to the chiropractic center to still use. When I called to schedule a massage they told me that the massages expired starting some arbitrary date. Their excuse was that they emailed and texted former clients multiple times about the end date. I received no such communication. They wouldn't refund me the money I spent. Any place that operates their business this way is a place to avoid. Hundreds of dollars down the drain. read more

Care was fine. Harassment after you are no longer a patient is unacceptable. I have received phone calls, texts, emails, etc. and no matter how many times I have called them and asked them to stop it keeps coming. Today I was prompted to leave a Google review in order to enter a raffle. Well here it is Korwitts.... STOP CONTACTING PATIENTS THAT HAVE NOT STEPPED INTO YOUR CLINIC IN OVER FIVE YEARS. I have to imagine that you are hurting for business or the owners are making you go through that really fun process of grabbing all of the charts and calling all of the patients regardless of whether or not they actually want to be contacted. When I went for first time, I could barely walk, sciatic pain was awful. Within a few treatments, I was mobile again. Dr. K is an actual miracle worker. I've been a patient at this clinic for about a year now, going in for treatment of acute issues. The staff is incredibly helpful, very knowledgeable, and always willing to answer questions. Dr. K is top notch when it comes to diagnosing and treating. I recently went in with terrible pain in my knee that was preventing me from walking down stairs without pausing and got relief after one adjustment. I was also fitted for orthotics to address the cause of that knee pain and haven't had any issues with my knee since then (definitely worth the investment!). The office offers old school hands on care with updated technology as well. I was recently treated with the MLS laser and aside from being a very cool piece of equipment, the effects are immediate. After two minutes of treatment on a sore area that had been bothering me for a week, the pain was gone and has not come back. read more

The rehab therapist Grant, and Dr. Joe were awesome. I was original setup for 12 sessions but only attended six. I made the mistake of paying my bill in full prior to completing the sessions. It's going on two months since my last session on Sept. 23rd, and I have yet to receive my refund. I have placed numerous calls and have been strung along by receiving variations of excuses. I have been provided a direct line once that when called, it was not in service. The last was over 2 weeks ago, I was informed a check would be mailed. Since I have not received the check, I went in person to their office to request a check of deposit into my HSA account. I was informed by the owner that the check would be ready after 2PM in the afternoon. I have called just now, and was informed by the Billing resource (Diana), that the check will not be ready till early next week! I will be filing a claim with the better business bureau. This is completely unacceptable. read more

I have been seeing Dr. K for several months now. What I like most about the practice, besides the excellent care and results I've had, is that the office is very welcoming and accommodating. The doctors, front staff and PT's are all very friendly. I initially went in for lower back pain, but once my program was finished (just maintenance now), I learned that Korwitts Chiropractic's treatments go far beyond just back pain. I felt comfortable opening up to Dr. K about other health problems I've been having, and I've received treatments including massage, acupuncture and cupping, as well as a walking test for orthotic insoles - all with great results. Oh only the best and I am no stranger to chiropractic! My husband and I have been seeing Dr Korwitts for over 15 years. Understanding the importance and mechanics of a healthy spinal system being in the medical field for a number of years, it is literally the "backbone" to a healthy life. The structure and finesse of such a magnificent wonder, works with our brain to control our "every move" and every single organ and nerve system in our bodies. The moment something is out of alinement in our spinal workup, all is not in sync; our whole system is thrown off with quite number of symptoms and ailments. Needless to say in all my babble is that we're speaking of our life and wellbeing! I had my experiences with a number of chiropractors in my life and only thru weeding out and finding some one that is remarkable in all ways. A "Father Knows Best" figure with a heart of gold, compassion, love for the common man and knowledge in his field with a great number of years experience! Unbeknownst to many, this doctor has literally saved my life and from myself in so many ways. My first impression was very good, but in the process of receiving extended treatment, it had changed. I went in with constant neck and shoulder pain. I was told to come in weekly for therapy and adjustments. (In hidesight, it was because insurance would cover a number of treatments, and they were going to make sure they maximized that policy.) Everyone was friendly, at first, and I felt the therapy was beneficial to a point. The adjustments really didn't do much for me. On occassion, I went in with a migraine, and they suggested I try massage or accupuncture. Once I tried a massage to alleviate the pain. Not much help. Another time, I tried accupuncture- also not much help. During the accupuncture, the needles were supposed to be twisted after 10 minutes, and remain for an additional 10 minutes. But the assistant came in after the first 10 minutes and just removed the needles. So my session was only half what it was supposed to be. That same assistant would also administer muscular massage after each adjustment, with a hand-held massager. Each time, I would tell her that my pain was in the shoulders, but she would focus on a fatty bump that I had on my back- thinking it was muscular. I tried their expensive, fancy pillow- but that didn't help. After 3 months of regular appts., I stopped going. I was feeling slightly better, but was a disappointed that I hadn't had a major change in all that time. Two months later, I went in for a "maintenance" adjustment, but was told that since "it had been more than 3 months" insurance wouldn't cover it and that I could not receive treatment unless I paid for it out of pocket. At this point, they were no longer friendly, so I haven't been back. read more

A few times over the years I've slacked off in my appointments and the resulting increase in low back pain always brings me back. I went to Korwitts with back pain. I choose Korwitts because they hold clinics regularly at our Church. I assumed that they were all up and up because of that. I was examined, and told that i had a degrading posture problem that needed to be corrected ASAP, so I was put on a 3 day a week visit plan, of adjustments, Physio Therapy, and massage Therapy. It started very well, but about a month later I realized how much this was costing. they were max billing my insurance, which was killing me in the deductible. They were billing my insurance around $60 for 15 minute of Physio Therapy, which the session was often shared with 2 or 3 other people. Several times I was double billed, where my insurance was charged, but not reflected on my invoice. I was on this accelerated plan, until one day I was told I had graduated the program, and only needed to come once a month. (My insurance stopped paying I guess.). There was no conversation if I had improved, or if I still had symptoms. I guess they were satisfied that with the several thousand they had billed my insurance and no longer cared about my health. I am very disappointed, as they are marketing as more honest and upright. read more
