The nurse there took my blood pressure and asked very personal questions regarding my health conditions in the waiting room in front of other patients and people waiting for patients ( I'm sure that violates some kind of HIPPA laws ) and to top it all off they only accept cash and don't do their job to check with your insurance if your deductible is met before starting any treatment. I'm out $530 and they still expect me to pay $150 every time I go in to finish my IV treatment ( have 3 more to go ) despite confirming with my insurance that my deductible is met. This office is unbelievably money hungry which is no surprise every medical office is a business at the end of the day but it seems like every single person that works there ( nurses and medical assistants included ) lack bed side manner and empathy and are just there for a paycheck. I refuse to ever step foot in there ever again unless it's for my refund from when my deductible was met.

There's especially one girl whose always bossy and makes fun of the patients that come in. Just now she was yelling at another co worker for a tiny mistake that could've been fixed BY HER. I highly recommend the place I do since the doctors are amazing but to be honest if I'm dealing with people in the reception that has a sour attitude I wouldn't want to come back.

Procedure was great I had a 2 inch open wound that i would stick gauge and clean everyday. Recently, Dr Tsioulias removed the cyst from its root and everything was great. I would like to thank Dr Tsioulias for his continuous care . He is an amazing doctor and his office staff are super friendly and caring. Thank you for caring for me. Definitely will refer others!!!

I've had a fair amount of experience with various medical professionals and their staff and I was kind of dreading this appointment. The staff was very nice and accommodating and were forthcoming about running behind with appointments. Once I met with the doctor I was amazed by the fact that he didn't push for surgery. He was very honest with me and told me what I could do to try to remedy the situation. He told me that if I followed his suggestions he most likely would never need to see me again. It was a truly refreshing experience! I also want to add that there was a patient in there angling for a note regarding his surgery and pushing them to have the doctor write it for much longer than he would need off. They were polite but firm that that would be considered fraud and they would have no part in it. Bummer for the guy but made me respect the office even more. While I hope I don't need a surgical repair for my issue (because I do plan on following doctor's orders!), if I do I plan on going back to Dr. Tsioulias.

He hung up on me and then lied on patient portal that I hung up on him, also saying "he hoped I would call back". So unprofessional! No one reached out to me on complete report. No arrangement for continuity of care was arranged -- this is abandonment and a suable offense. I was just left hanging. Dr. Barry Kaplan is no better. They are not human at Queens Medical Associates. It's just a cancer treatment factory that is archaic and only cares about their bottom line profit. Swaika all you had to do is apologize but instead you have HURT me and caused me inordinate stress on top of all the hurt others in the medical profession have caused me. You BETTER PRAY that no medical harm has come to me from leaving me hanging! Be careful not to pull this shit on anyone again, because they may not be as nice as me.

When you get to the front desk, all the workers are just huddled chatting about nonsense while one person is checking patients in. When the nurse took me back to the patient room to meet with my doctor, I noticed that they leave the doors open when dealing with patients and talking to us. I had to ask her to close my door when discussing my business. In my appointment, which was on a Friday, I was told that I needed iron IV treatments and that I would be called the following week to schedule my appointments. I waited and waited and no phone call. So on the following Monday I called them to ask about this IV treatment I need because I'm 29 weeks pregnant so it's important I get the ball rolling on this. Surprisingly someone picked up! And I start explaining to her that I was supposed to receive a phone call and I didn't. She gets my DOB and sees my chart and says "oh yeah you're approved, let's get you scheduled. He actually wanted you to come in today." WHEN WERE YOU PEOPLE GONNA CALL ME TO TELL ME THAT THESE TREATMENTS WERE APPROVED BY MY INSURANCE AND I WAS SUPPOSED START RIGHT AWAY?! So had I not called, no one would've called me to make this appointment. I found that very irritating. Especially since I need these treatments for my health and the health of my baby. On top of the fact that I'm always tired because of my low iron so these treatments could help me.
