Dave arranged our recent Seoul, Gyeongju,Busan & Jeju Island Korea trip. He also arranged English speaking tours guides in each place. Tours were very interesting due to the knowledge of the guides. Where do I begin? If you want to have the best vacation call Dave! From the very beginning Dave was responsive, timely, knowledgeable, capable. And if he didn't have the answer, he would get it...and fast! He was patient, yet firm when it came to deadlines so we wouldn't lose out on seats, reservations etc. Dave's communication tops the cake! I never felt frustrated having to wait for a response from him. He always answered promptly. At times, we would be texting back and forth until one of us would just call. Initially, I told Dave I wanted to travel to Alaska and Leavenworth this past December 2021. Cruises were all booked, but Dave was able to quickly coordinate airline reservations for the 5 of us! He put together an itinerary within 5 days of our first phone call. It was filled with activities that I wouldn't have even thought about booking! Later, when I looked at all the brochures for Alaska, they advertised all of those same activities Dave planned out for us! Among these were viewing Aurora Borealis, dog sledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling, going to a reindeer ranch, and riding in a sleeper car on an Amtrak train! Dave is so meticulous too! He included shuttles, links to other things we could do i.e. museums, restaurants, etc. And the scheduling of each day worked out perfectly. I wouldn't have known how much to schedule in a day in Alaska. Only when we got there did we realize daylight was only about 4 hours, and much of the activities were scheduled during the dark hours. Of course traveling to Alaska during the winter comes with its own set of problems. And Dave was there through the entire trip. I actually felt bad that he had to rebook tours, shuttles, airline flights for us during our trip bc of all the severe winter weather storms that impeded traffic. But he did it with such kindness and willingness. We are so grateful to Dave for his expertise, knowledge, advice, and willingness to go above and beyond to help us have the best trip! Dave is the real deal, he was able to achieve airline ticket reservations with my family of 5 and 3 small live animals, car rental reservations and also airport shuttle arrangements. Honestly, Dave wasn't my first choice as I actually went to 3 other popular Honolulu travel agencies that had tremendous difficulties booking my flight with my family and pets together. I found Dave on fb marketplace advertising his ability to customize Mercedes settings to make things more convenient and user friendly. Not the settings that you can simply find through your cars user interface, but the ones hard set by the factory that you can't get access to unless you pay Mercedes $180/hour to alter. Things like adding additional languages to the car, or, in my case, turning off the incredibly loud and jarring no seatbelt "chime" in my G55 AMG. And yes, I always buckle up and would have no problem if it blared on and on while the vehicle was in movement and detecting a seat belt unbuckled, but it would do it immediately as I started the car. The first thing I ever do when I get into my car, like most people, is turn it on and get the ac running! Mercedes, however, in their infinite wisdom, decided that unless you buckled up before starting the car, your life was in immediate danger and the sirens of the apocalypse were justified. I messaged him telling him what I needed and I was at his shop by the afternoon on a SUNDAY. That's right, he's probably the only shop open on Sunday. We met in person and I hung out while he got to work on my truck. Dave is a very knowledge and friendly guy. He took the time to explain the process of what he was doing and while I waited I got to meet a few other repeat customers of his, all who only had nice things to say about his work. An hour later I got in my car, started it up, and... no more nuclear missile launch siren blaring into my ears because I prioritized my ac cooling over my seatbelt first! To top it off, he gave me the log of every trouble code my car had thrown through its life, cleared it, and ran it again to see if anything had shown consistent failure. You won't get that at the dealer. Most definitely not on Sunday, with same day service, and for a mere fraction of the cost. I own my Merc with more confidence knowing I have Dave as a resource! read more
