I brought in a Derringer Twist 2 that I was given, a box of target ammo, and made a down payment of…read more$50. Mazama's recommended McClusky's, as I didn't know where to go. I wanted them to clean the Derringer and test fire it (who knew they would charge for that when I brought in my own ammo? That seems wrong). I stopped in every week to check on progress. They said I don't need to stop in, I could just call, but my calls are not returned. After 3 weeks they said that it wouldn't fire, and needed to be bored because it had been dry-fired. I said to do it. I continued to stop in weekly. A couple of weeks later they actually called me and said it needed to have something filled (1st bored, then filled. Hmm. Did they create the problem?). I said go ahead. I eventually stopped going in. A few weeks later, they said they think the problem is the spring, I said replace it. Two more weeks, they called and said the springs are no longer made, but they could fashion one. Again I gave them the go ahead. That was about a month ago. They haven't called, they haven't communicated in any way. They've had the Derringer for about 3-1/2 or 4 months. I have left a voicemail message, but I am not holding my breath on a return phone call. I still give them a 2-star rating because they are always pleasant when I stop in. However, pleasantness only goes so far. It doesn't make up for their lack of communication or the fact they have had my Derringer for such a long time. I cannot recommend them.

These guys are great! I just recently bought a new apex trigger for my FN 509 Tactical and needed…read moresomeone to put it on. They were fast and I was in and out less than 20 minutes. I went back again so they could put on my Holosun 508t X2 red dot. Again fast reliable and always great work. I would definitely recommend this place to someone that needs a trigger put in or a red dot put on.

Love this place. I've gotten a few firearms here already and every time, they've been amazing…read more Other places like big chains don't take the time to explain. Whether it's the lack of knowledge or care in customer service. I've stopped going to big chains now and have fully given these guys my business. Aside from the occasional ammo pickup but, besides during this whole fiasco, Mazama usually has all the ammo I could ever need. They've always been super helpful and really knowledgeable. And they always had what I'm looking for. Looking forward to fishing time and seeing what else they've got to offer. From what I've seen, they look like they could have just about anything I could ever need in regards to fishing as well so we'll see! Also, just found out that I can come in and work on my AR there and they would help me out as well. So looking forward to doing that too! Thank you for all you guys do and thank you for staying open to supply us during this time. I'm sure I speak for all the enthusiast stopping by in the area when I say, we appreciate your guys hard work!

I've purchased 8 silencers and 6 firearms through Mazama. Adam (manager/owner?) is fantastic, very…read moreresponsive via e-mail and extremely quick to resolve any issues. The sales staff is... mediocre. They mostly stand around talking bullshit to one another and occasionally helping customers. Sometimes they know what they're talking about. Sometimes they don't. I've literally heard one of them suggesting that murder of politicians is a solution for political issues but I'm sure they were just kidding; also, please sign their petitions if murder isn't your thing. I count on needing to do my own research and go into the store knowing what I'm looking for, because they're not always as well-informed as they appear. The salesman selling you a silencer doesn't know that a Form 3 is. $100 transfer fee for NFA items not purchased from SilencerShop/Mazama website is expensive but hey, that's just the price we pay for getting cool shit.
