Fritz is the best knife sharpener around! He is super punctual and comes right to your door. I used him at the start of the pandemic and our knives were so sharp that both myself and my husband sliced through our fingers like butter. That being said, we loved his service and today he came back a year later and sharpened our knives again. He was kind and courteous and it took no time at all. Kind, conscientious and handles my $700 shears w finesse. I actually purchased my Taos through him and am thankful he suggested them, as I am extremely particular. These are my daily "go-to" 7" shear, so he checked them over the other day, buffed and polished the edge, adjusted the tension, then handed them back to me oiled and at no charge. I tried to pay him, but he said they didn't need sharpening, he just wanted to service them. Pretty awesome, huh? I have thousands of dollars worth of shears--- and I've had shoddy work done to my shears before, so I only allow 2 professionals to touch my shears and Fritz is one of them. After receiving a last minute request for an in-home lion shave, I was in desperate need of getting my clipper blades sharpened right away! Unfortunately, most places required at least 1 to 2 days to get the blades back to me. I called Fritz and left a message stating that I needed help as soon as possible IF possible, and Fritz returned my call with in 5 minutes! He has a mobile service but will work from his mobile shop at his house if you have just a few items. He sharpened my old Chicago Cutlery knives and a few others.
