Bob's has a big stock and variety of trees and plants of various sizes, and the tranquil location makes for a pleasant day trip for a walk amongst potted plants and dug-up trees ready to go. Their brochure is helpful for looking up and browsing an updated selection of available trees for listed prices, and staff have been consistently friendly and helpful, and not surprisingly, very knowledgeable. The staff seemed a little bit rough around the edges, but at the end of the day they returned the wrong sized solar lights... and we had the works insure/double check to make sure that we had the correct sized lights this time around before making the purchase and driving off. Initially, the gentleman who worked in the department of the lights told us that he only had two lights, which would have left us one short.... but when we were checking out we asked them if they could check their computer inventory to see if they had anymore... sure enough they did. We were happy that we saved ourselves another Home Deport trip by having them search inventory to see if they had another light.... we were grateful to the staff members who were able to located the third light, which is why this store will earn a two start rating rather than a one star rating. The solar powered post lights were installed successfully - they fit and they work :) YAY!

The Home Depot Corporate offices have made the decision not to offer military discounts on any…read morebuilding supplies. When we lodged a complaint with the corporate offices we were told they, "We do respect those that have served ... active military or veteran ... but we no longer allow discounts on any building supplies." Since their primary business is a building supply store, what good does it do to even offer one at all?! My comment in reply to their statement was, "Actions speak louder than words. I don't believe that your corporation does respect the military." We shall be shopping now at their competitors.
