Ultimately we've got three trees from Bob's, and even though two of the trees had issues, the staff have been understanding and reasonable in working with us for a resolution. Bob's has a big stock and variety of trees and plants of various sizes, and the tranquil location makes for a pleasant day trip for a walk amongst potted plants and dug-up trees ready to go. Their brochure is helpful for looking up and browsing an updated selection of available trees for listed prices, and staff have been consistently friendly and helpful, and not surprisingly, very knowledgeable. I would recommend Bob's Trees without hesitation, and I hope they stay open and successful for a very long time.

I asked one the kids working there, "I know we're not in Zone 10, but what Zone are we in?" He looked at me blankly as if I had asked him to solve a quadratic equation...Fortunately, another customer had overheard our conversation and said, "We're in Zone 5, those will be dead by October." We did get a few things, and after putting them in, realized we needed more, I told my wife, "We're going to Kulak's tomorrow." I had a question about mulching perennials as well as keeping weeding to a minimum, (we're creating a perennial garden out of an area where bushes grew for years) and were directed to Allison. She's a wealth of information, a little bit into our conversation, another customer stopped to listen. Allison asked, "Can I help you?", the customer said, "No, this is really interesting, please continue." She's also really funny and personable as well as informative. Everything they offer is quality. Again, you will pay for quality, but you will not be sorry to go there, IMHO...

Day 3 half of the flowers dropped and started to die. I called and they took them back for credit. They brought me a new one. Same thing happened in 3 days time. I had them pick them up and waited a week for new floral arrangement. I received it yesterday. Water turned cloudy again today, day 2. A few different flowers but packed so tightly I could not see some were buried. The 2 carnations snapped off , the leaves had holes in them or ripped. The daises are dropping off the pedals and the ones that were buried, 3 of them wilted. I would never suggest anyone going back there and I told my son and his office never order from there again!
