Paid $75 for a tow to Martin Automotive only to have Joey not even touch our vehicle. I have all…read morethe text messages to prove how untruthful he was to me. Claiming he was working to get our power steering pump replaced stating it needed a serpentine belt that he ordered and was waiting on. Then wouldn't answer phone calls. I specifically told him we were on our way to Orange Beach and needed it fixed ASAP. He said he could get it done it a couple hours and send us on our way. Only to try and put us off till the next day. I had to pay for an Uber to go and get my van and drive it with bad power steering pump to save the rest of our family vacation. When I got to his place he wouldn't answer the door. He had his uncle give excuses why he hadn't touched our vehicle. My family lost an entire days vacation time in this situation. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY!!!!!!

I bought a used car. Joey did a lot of work to it to try to get it running and after all he did,…read morethe engine crapped out so he had to put a new used engine in it. He did not charge me for any of the work he had done before he put in the new engine. he also found and changed the axle and CV joints in the front. on top of that, I found another concern after he had delivered the car and he came and picked the car up for me and changed the brakes. I am so happy to find an honest mechanic with such high integrity I would highly recommend him. Thanks again, Joey!

Very professional. I had my 120,000 mile service done there. They sent me detailed information…read moreabout my car. They did not try and sell me things my car didn't need. They took stuff off my original quote because my car didn't need it. I would definitely recommend them.

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Their pricing is fair and affordable. Long Version: If you have a minute to stick around, let me tell you my story so you will know how awesome this place is..... Roughly four weeks ago, on December 15, 2023, I drove from NC to Murfreesboro to spend a couple of days with family in the area. I was supposed to have a really quick turnaround. During my drive to Murfreesboro, I had a light turn on in my BMW X3 regarding my coolant. I arrived in town Friday evening and the following morning, I took my vehicle to BMW of Nashville to have the coolant checked/refilled. While my vehicle was at the dealer, they identified a leak and completed further diagnosis to determine the radiator hose needed a replacement - this was the primary radiator hose on top. The quote provided to me by the dealership to complete the repair was egregious compared to the average cost for this repair. The cost was FOUR TIMES the average cost of replacing a radiator hose. I immediately began exploring other options which is where Chris comes into play. I called ATL Total Car Care and explained my situation and the needed repair. We talked through it and Chris was willing to help me and take my car in, the same day, to assist. Chris did not have the hose that I needed in stock but said if I could purchase the part directly from the dealer, he would still handle the repair. So, with Chris' idea, I was able to pick up my car from the dealer, purchase the necessary hose directly from the parts department, and then headed to Chris' way! They close around 2 pm on Saturday from what I recall. Chris took my car in around 12:30 that afternoon - he and his team stayed past closing time to complete the repair. The team waited for me to come and pick up the vehicle and close out afterward. Outstanding service. Affordable pricing. Good People.

My 2011 Toyota Sienna's check engine light was winking occasionally. My wife had Auto Zone hook it…read moreup to their reader when she was getting windshield wipers. They said the battery was looking a little puny, but not bad ... but the alternator must be shot. Want to buy one now? My wife is as smart as she is good looking (that is to say: very very), so she hired me to take it to a mechanic. Since we only own Toyotas, we don't HAVE a mechanic - the cars just don't need 'em. But there's 150k miles on the van. Thinking we need to find a good shop for future use that isn't the competent-but-expensive dealer. So I looked at Yelp, talked to a few friends, polled a couple of other sites and decided on Larry's. Larry did some sleuthing and decided that my battery isn't quite puny, yet not quite new, either - but not time for a new one. And the alternator is FINE. Don't get me wrong - AZ is great in its place, but so glad we got a second, more learned opinion. Larry's shop cleaned the battery terminals and the throttle body and did a couple of other possibly-related things. He said all that stuff was related to remedying whatever was behind the check-engine code, but couldn't guarantee for absolute sure he'd solved the problem. He said the code isn't critical and probably not even useful for my trim level and engine, and his little tweaks likely solved the problem. But we should keep an eyebone peeled for future flashes. And since my visit, no more check engine light, even for a sec. Believe I win. $60. And peace of mind. And I got to play tug-o-war with his dog. Wins all around. Go there.
