I initially contacted NWI Auto Repair which Shelby answered on January 26th to inquire about a tire repair. I was told they were having car trouble but would follow up, which they did. Randy (the owner) came out to put a spare tire on while the original tire was to be repaired. Payment was sent, and a service time was scheduled for today at 11:00 AM. At 10:32 AM, I reached out to confirm the appointment and was told again that there were car issues and the time was pushed back to between 2:00-3:00 PM. I accommodated this change and waited. From that point forward, I was given the runaround all day. I was first told Randy was "nowhere to be found." Then I received another message stating that my tire was in her stepson's truck and that he would bring it after leaving his girlfriend's house. That never happened. After multiple attempts to get a clear answer or timeline, I was ignored entirely. The final message I received stated that I needed to "stop harassing her" about my own property and that she would "get around to it when she can." This is not just unprofessional it is deceptive behavior. I paid for a service, my property was taken into their possession, no service was completed, and I have neither received a refund nor had my property returned. Instead, I was met with excuses, shifting stories, and ultimately dismissal. I tried very hard to avoid leaving a negative review because I respect people's hustle, but this experience strongly reflects scam-like behavior and a complete lack of accountability. Please be extremely cautious before doing business with this company.

I took my vehicle to a part store because it was acting up. They ran a diagnostic test. The test…read moresaid i needed the TBI replaced. .... my vehicle doesn't have one! Idk.... At the store was a customer who recommended me to take my vehicle to Dave Cooper. When I arrived at Dave's he informed me about the TBI and we both chuckled. Then he made an appointment for me to return with my vehicle. On the scheduled date I dropped off my vehicle, Later that day the secretary called me and told me that my vehicle would not start for them and that they would need to replace one of my batteries since they had tested it and it was very weak. She also mentioned that this was probably the main cause of the problem. They changed the battery and now my vehicle runs like the day I bought it. Thank you Mr Dave Cooper and all his staff. I'm definitely taking my vehicle to you when needed.

I was told 1hr 15min, after I was there for a hour and my car had not moved i got up to leave on my way out the head mechanic the one with a big brown beard asked me what was wrong? I told him this who franchise sucked. He proceeded to approach me in a threatening manner his manager had to come out of the building and in Lakestation this franchise forgot to put my oil cap back on so I stained 4 driveways and my garage before I figured it out.
