The engine itself only cost $2,500-$3000, so this company was attempting to charge me $10,000+ in labor and taxes. I have the estimate as proof! I am very well educated in automotive repair and it does not cost $13k to replace an engine on a vehicle with a 3.6 engine. The normal price range is $4k-$5500. I'm not sure if this was racially motivated but I will never visit this company or refer anyone to this company! Sheisters!!! I would say within 24 hours of making the appointment for the diagnostic to be performed on my car and actually bringing it into the shop to be serviced. My car was complete and ready to drive again. Estimate was painless, professional, and 10 minutes long. I was given a detailed parts list. With costs of parts and labor. I dropped it off Monday. Friday I paid and picked it up after hours. Nobody wants to be a customer there for obvious reasons. However, if you have a bit of misfortune, it's nice to know C.D.E. is there to soften the stress. 5 star review if they didn't forget to hook up the horn. Also didn't hook up with rear wiper fluid line on the first visit. Minor oversights for the amount of work accomplished.
