Tonight I waited approximately 40 minutes for a simple hot dog and when I got it, it looked and felt like it had been in an oven for over an hour. I actually got up to go to the kitchen and check on the order three times but decided I would be polite and wait. When it finally got to me I should've sent it back. The bun was dark and hard as a ROCK. and the hotdog looked absolutely terrible. Like it was dehydrated and shriveled and hard. I looked at the cook who delivered it with amazement as he set it on the table and he paused and then turned around and walked away. I guess in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Total fail.

I explained that we had just come home from the hospital with our three-day-old newborn and lived 30 minutes away, so driving back was not possible. I offered to send photos that clearly showed how burned the burgers were. The person I spoke with still said he couldn't help us unless we brought them back. I asked to speak with a manager, and he told me there was no manager there. Mistakes happen, but asking us to make another hour-long drive with a newborn just to show them the burgers was unreasonable. We ended up throwing the food in the trash, and they lost loyal customers of many years over the way they handled this. We won't be coming back, and we definitely won't recommend this place again.

As I waited, I noticed several people who ordered after me receiving their food while I was still sitting there. About 15 minutes later, I finally received my to-go sandwich. When I opened the container, it was obvious it had been sitting there for a while. The sandwich was sweaty, and half of it was soggy. Apparently, they had forgotten to bring it to me. By that point, my mocha was already gone before I had even started eating. The BLT itself was made on regular-sized sandwich bread, and the tomatoes and bacon were good. But $34 for a basic BLT and a small iced mocha is outrageous, especially considering the wait and the condition of the sandwich when I finally received it. I will not be going back. The prices are simply far too high for what you get.
