The guy who answered said it could be done same day, or could take a couple days, depending on how many guitars are in line for repair. Thankfully he also told me the tech was coming in in a few days, on Thursday. When I brought it by on Thursday, I got to speak to the tech & show him the guitar. He explained the 2 options and what's included for the price. At first, I was experiencing sticker shock - I'm not a musician, so I didn't expect things to be that much! BUT I bought the guitar for my kiddo 5 years ago & hadn't done any kind of upkeep, so I bit the bullet & went with the higher option. Vincent, the tech, surprised me & got it done in just a couple hours. I was able to pick it up before closing time, which was a nice surprise for my boy. Man. I am glad I went with the top deck (something) option... it looked like a brand new guitar! He really did a terrific job - the wood looked all smooth & conditioned, the strings were tight & low, it was even tuned... my son was verrry excited about it! This is where we bought the guitar, and we'd definitely go back to this Guitar Center for repairs & future purchases! I love that they sell used gear too.

I also don't think the consumer should have to purchase a guitar in order to test it out with other guitars of similar quality. I am looking to buy & need to narrow it down, with all of them on-hand. I ended up buying my Martin from another location, but it was thanks to this location as well. It took many weeks of testing out different guitars in order to finally see which one was right for me.

The school itself is really conveniently located with easy parking, and once inside there is a space to wait while ur child is inside learning with the teacher. My kids piano teacher is super nice and patient, and very thorough in the way she teaches. What I was most impressed abt was that although both kids started piano at the same time, in order for them not to be compared to eachother and also to avoid redundancy, she actually selected different learning materials customized to each child. This really helped especially my younger child who gets easily discouraged when she feels that she isnt doing as well as someone else( in this case her brother lol) I will definitely be continuing to send both of my kids here and plan to add on another instrument as they get older.

I told the lady in the front when I dropped it off that I wanted them cleaned, pads changed, and whatever else that needed to be done. They quoted me a week's work. Today I picked up my instruments all excited to see two shiny flutes with new pads and the whole shebang. No! I asked the lady about it and she said it was not noted. I literally told them I wanted everything done and for whatever else that needs to be done. Money is not an issue! It's like dropping your car off to get washed, oil change, brake changed and when you go pick your car up they're like here's your car. It's in working order. If cleaning and polish is not a part of the regular maintenance then offer that as a service add on! Ridiculous!

I called on a day the store happened to be closed, but the owners were at the shop anyway for a previous appointment, so she invited us to come over. She and her husband listened to our violin needs, offered some suggestions, and proceeded to restring two violins, provide two bows and fine tuners for both violins while we waited...for a reasonable price...on their day off! The owners are so sweet. It is obvious from the moment you walk into their store by the way you are greeted like family, that they clearly care about their customers and their business. I've been looking for a place to get my fingerboard taped, and was so relieved when I called and they said that they could help me out! Not only did she help me with this, she also helped me tune my violin and, noticing the bridge was crooked, put it back in place. When I offered to pay, she said it was for free.
