I really want to love Dave & Buster's, but the service has been rough the last couple of times I've gone. It felt super understaffed -- long waits just to get a drink or order food, and it kind of kills the momentum when you're trying to enjoy the night. That said, I still really like the environment. It's fun, loud, and there's always something going on. I'm a big fan of the Ski Ball, and it's awesome that they show UFC fights -- that's a huge plus for me. If they can get the service back on track, it would be an easy 4 or 5 stars. read more

Food-Honestly cannot comment on this, although I was hoping to try the food before poor service was presented. Ambience-Great environment for kids, especially for a rainy day, which is exactly why we ventured towards this venue today. Typically, we are out in the wild exploring life and not stuck inside playing games. Service-This is where my review begins and ends. In a world full of entitlement, the hostess that we approached to get a seats before playing games had an incredibly piss poor attitude. Frustrated, I still decided my kids happiness would prioritize this, and I would put aside my frustration in supporting this establishment and its employees with this kind of attitude. However, the poor service continued, and I told my sons it was time to go, and we are not going to support this kind of behavior with our hard earned money. I have never actually been to a more well kept Dave and busters. We came here on a Wednesday to take advantage of half price game day. We didn't realize that the food was also half off. The really nice thing was that the staff were extremely happy to explain the policy to us. Much like the most recent review previous to this one I am writing, I too had a bad experience. To start I was back in town visiting my family wanting to show them a good time and was greeted by terrible attitude with front desk staffing, all because I asked a question about a promotional discount & how it worked. Eventually the manager came out when I asked for one, never apologized or even addressed the issue involving her staff or the situation but did fix the problem, so I guess points for that. Neither the manager or staffing acted as if they wanted to be there. This was about 11 months ago I believe, but reading the comments that was posted just months ago. i really do hope they get better staffing with the idea of creating an atmosphere of family fun & warm professional welcome. We bought the winter season pass so have been multiple times a week for a few weeks now. It's hit or miss. Sometimes great sometimes terrible. Head manager could give a sh*t though. We've tried to talk to her to give positive information and praise as well as give constructive information. No matter the situation she could give a sh.... Had a great time at the early New Year's Eve festivities. We brought our 2 kids plus a friend with each. The setup was nice, the food was solid considering its a bar food buffet. The churos were baller and the kids and adults loved them. Our server was awesome. We would do this again for a future New Year's Eve. Just came home from taking my son on a date here.... at least it's a good story.... We were asked to sit at the bar (yes, myself and a 10 year old) when I told them to still put us down for a table, knowing it was a Friday, the bar would eventually get full, I was told "it doesn't matter you can order food, its the same.." oooook ....shes not getting it but off we go..... We order, I get a drink, we go off and play games, when we get back the food is there. Not once were we checked on but it was fine we were good, and I took my drink and we went to play more games. Let me set the stage for this next part..... we both are wearing jackets, which are on the back of the chairs. An umbrella is on the table, my son's food, which he will be coming back to finish, my drink would be there but I took it with to play more games...... Come back to people getting seated on our spot. WE ARE NOT GONE AND HOUR AND ALL OUR S*** IS PILED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BAR. I can't even. Lady just sold me this card saying "kids usually take over an house to blow through this many coins." .... Cool, y'all move their stuff too? Like I just can't wrap my head around how anyone can act this way. It's not like we left, they knew darn well we didn't leave, it's a freaking Dave and Busters, my tab was open, seats full of stuff. My CAR KEYS.... Pretty disappointed tonight. Our server wasn't paying attention. Messed up our order twice (drinks & food). I ordered the wings with carrots & celery. As you can see from the picture, the carrots were absolutely gross. When I asked him if they looked ok, he told me he wasn't a "carrot kinda guy". So he went to get me more. When he returned, the second serving was in as bad a shape but he said the chef told him he had just bought them today. They were at least wet but were just as terrible as the first set. I had asked for fries with my wings. They never showed up. A manager never came by which tells me that he never bothered to tell a manager. Service was incredibly slow. Food was slow. The only reason we came to D&B was because it was a rainy Saturday weekend with the step-kids. They went off playing games ($100 worth of tokens or swipes). This is my personal version of hell. I'm a laid back chill kinda person who does not like chain restaurants or places with lots of kids & loud noises, but you do things for your family. If you love all that, cool. Different people make the world go round. I will say, there were a lot of cool looking games & I can see why kids (& adults) love it. This review is mainly of the restaurant. Do NOT come here for the food. If you're the person who orders an omelette but asks to somehow substitute the eggs or you order a steak salad but don't want steak or lettuce, or asks for a milkshake but you're lactose intolerant, etc., you will not have an enjoyable time. Order what's on the menu & accept it or you will be one angry person. So think about ordering something that's safe. Don't ask for a burger cooked medium then get peeved when it's well done. Just know that going in. It's too crazy for the employees to seemingly handle one small hiccup. With that said, while my step kids ran amuck, I sat at the bar, drank a cocktail while watching Tiger at the Masters. I just ordered fries with campfire sauce for dipping. Tasted as described- mayo, ketchup w/a kick. Asked for more- never got it. It's fine. Fries- okay. I will say, great TVs to watch every sporting event possible. The bartender was flighty but friendly. Came here at the request of my youngest daughter we love it. Food wise in our four visits here this was probably the one time it did not exceed. The chicken was a little rubbery and the fries cool and way to salty but hey it was the atmosphere I'm here for to watch a game and let the kiddos play some games. My team wanted to take me to lunch for bosses day and we decided to have a little fun with it so why not D&B? It was actually the perfect time, a weekday lunch while kids are in school! They were not very busy. We had a table of 7 at a high top in the bar area. I guess all the dining is really the bar area as it's separated form the gaming section, which is nice considering times there will be kids. I was impressed by the number of large screen and flat screen tv's throughout the area. Perfect spot it would seem to watch sports for sure. Food: I order bar smashers with fries which are basically 4 tiny slider burgers. The smash is because grilled onions are smashed into the meat when cooked. Tasty with sweet bread bun. Fries were fine. Just regular run of the mill fries. Our waitress was on top of things and continued to bring us drink refills. One complaint was the cloth napkins. Normally great but these were not absorbent so trying to wipe your hands of messy burgers and wings and philly steak sandwiches. Paper towels on the table seems more fitting for barfood. We actually walked over to the bar and grabbed stacks of little cocktail napkins to use. Gaming: lots of games, some more adult than others. Some a cat could do since you just push a button and hope for ticket wins. Those are for the kids. But basketball throws, skeeball, an 8ft tall PAC-Man game, racing games, many more serious shoot em up games and even a red solo cup ping pong game. Lol. Fun stuff. And here's a clue-check offers on Yelp because I got a BOGO deal on "play chips" for the games. I read other reviews and can see how this would be a madhouse when busy. We had our first Adult Birthday Party last night at Dave and Busters. Our Waitress Lilly went above and beyond to help us pull off a few surprises. The food was great! We had a couple of personal issues- lost game card-lost receipt-couldn't find my debit card. Yes alcohol was involved. The manager( I wish I could remember his name to shoutout )was so patient and really pulled off an act of kindness. Thank you D&B for everything. I come here to eat once every 6 months or so after I've forgotten how bad the last experience was, and then wonder how I could expect more from this establishment that repeatedly disappoints. Food: surprisingly not bad this time actually. They got the order incorrect and had to re-fire the fries, and forgot to bring me my beer, but the burger was fresh, patty was juicy even though it was well when I asked for medium, it was really just a satisfying meal. Service: wow. Just wow. Seated, and waited for over 10 min before we got up to check with the hostess to make sure someone knew we were here. The table next to us said, "your server never showed huh? We haven't seen ours for 30 min." And then, the server that we got seemed uninterested in helping and then we got a new server who was ok, except he kept forgetting about us even though we were his only table. His only ones. Just bizarre. Manager was walking around and didn't stop by to see if he could help. I'm pretty sure the issue starts at the top and works its way down. This has historically been our issue when dining here, regardless of whether we get seated or sit at the bar. Food is simply not good enough to compensate for the really REALLY poor service that we consistently receive when we come here. This place needs to take a good look at their management and figure out what's going wrong, because my family and I will absolutely not come here to eat again for the next 6 months at least. read more

Lately I have found myself writing more and more 5 star reviews but this is my second time to Dave & Busters and I LOVE it! I love the food, the service, the prizes and of course, the GAMES! I had always heard of Dave and Busters and that it was an adult version of Chuck E Cheese so I was not to keen on trying it out by the first time my husband, my son, and I went to hang out with a friend that was in from out of town and it was very busy and crowded. They started to seat us close to the games and it was loud and no space to even sit bc the tables were so close together. We asked if we could be seated elsewhere and they took us over to the dining area which was much more spaced out and much quieter. The food is a bit pricy but definitely worth it for the quality of food! I was pleasantly surprised! We had the pretzel hotdogs and it comes with a campfire sauce. The hot dog is a little spicy (not spicy for those of you that really love spicy foods but for my son he considers them spicy lol). Today I just took my son for a mother-son date and we ordered the same thing again and split them and an order of tater tots and it was more than filling! Even had a to-go box full of tots to eat at home! And the campfire sauce that comes with the pretzel hotdogs. My son also had the grape slush with gummy worms! Now the service! I would leave more stars but then I'd need to charge you 29 cents, is that okay? Being asked if an upcharge multiple times became ridiculous. If we each order a $15.00 meal, why pay extra for ranch dressing on the side? The triple bacon burger had two pieces of bacon on it. When I asked about why it only had two pieces, I got an explanation of the description, not more bacon unless I was willing to pay extra for it. I've attached the picture of my burger and the one that I ordered from. What are your thoughts? We opened a tab at the bar with one bartender, and added more drinks with another, which he gave to us. Ten minutes later he tracked us down playing games on the other side of the building explaining he couldn't find our card. We walked all the way back, pointed out the original bartender who had taken our card and the two of them ironed it out. Our appetizer arrived at the table just moments before the meals. And they put us down as a party of 23, not 3. That should've had more conversation around it than the 45 minute wait before we looked on the app and realized what had happened. I ordered the philly cheese steak and came with fries. The sandwich was very good as well as the fries seasoning. Tons of tvs that it seemed from any seat in the dining area you could watch multiple screens. Service was great. Great to come for dinner before you catch a movie at the Malco theater next door. My son and his friends often frequent the mall and play in the arcade portion of the facility. Seems that according to policy that shouldn't be allowed. We will make sure he no longer frequents your location unless he is with an adult. My son was turned away at your restaurant today. He is a 15 year old kid and had money to use for his meal, but the hostess refused to seat him because seating kids without adults is against policy at the establishment. They had no problem letting him play arcade games, but wouldn't let him eat dinner. Seems like a ridiculous rule and I would love to know the reasoning behind it. Staff seems nice. Food I ordered was supposed to be chicken Parmesan. What was delivered was 2 Burned to a crisp chicken tenders covered in a marinara over thin layer of fettuccine of a standard nature. The bruschetta that accompanied had no mozzarella seemed to be no basil. Just cherry tomatoes with seasoning olive oil and some vinegar. Nothing special or filling with this meal. I'm done. Can't do it. This place is just awful. Terrible service. Flagging down wait staff because our waitress is MIA. We ordered burgers and were surprised when she asked how we'd like them cooked only for those requests to be ignored. Lots of sitting around waiting. Sent dirty plates back only to sit around waiting for more then giving up and eating without them. Waited around for refills. Finding a waitress to send a Long Island back that was to freakin sour to drink and ours no where to be seen. Flagging down a waitress to get the check and box. Then our waitress pops out of no where with that telling me she'll get me a bag just to not show up ever so flagging down another waitress. Just overall frustrating. Some games requiring you to re insert your card to get points others not. Some games taking "tokens" off and then not working. And of course no one is around to help you. $180 later FINALLY my husband was like " this place isn't worth it" so hopefully we won't be back. Dirty plates. Terrible service. My family went there yesterday for the first time. The food took a while to come out, but it was good. Then we bought hour long unlimited game play cards and arcaded our hearts out. I saw him talk to the manager, just for him to tell a server come to our table and explain they are short staffed and she just got there. Not mad at her at all, BUT, 2 bartenders with 3 people sitting at the bar and they are walking in circles, 4 hosts at the front chatting. Come on manager, think on your feet and move some of the folks you are currently paying to stand around to where you need them. Really disappointed. read more

I'm so glad Dave & Busters has found its way to NWA to give us another option other than Fast Lanes. The only reason I don't give this a 5-star rating is because of the food. The server was great and nice and our table of 9 was seated within 20-25 minutes of arrival. I'll take that any day. But the the food was not good. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger cooked Medium and it just wasn't very good. I've had better burgers. There are a ton of TV's so there'll be plenty of options to watch the game during football season. I won't complain about the size. What did you expect when you saw where it was located? Anyway, the games were fun and there's a good selection of games for people of all ages. I haven't priced it against Fast Lanes yet but it seems to be more expensive. Not sure if that's true or not. Although there were a lot of people in the building, you didn't have to wait much to play the games. My son totally enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. Overall, I'm glad they are here and will definitely be returning for a visit. The food wasn't so bad that I wouldn't give it another shot. So I'll try something else next time. Had a lot of fun here with a group from work. The unlimited play card and wings should also say that you can't use that "unlimited" card on ticket machines. However, the waiter was fantastic and helpful. The wings were tasty, even though they didn't come out of the kitchen very quickly. We had to use our phones to scan the table to order our own food. There was a shadow and we used 4 phones before we could order. We ordered drinks, food, and over 300 in game play. We were never "checked on" The kids had an amazing time with the game, play, but everything else was bare minimum or truly nothing at all. I really wish I could give Dave and Busters in Roger's ar a higher rating but I cant. I literally wish I planned my childs brithday at Chucky e Cheese. I think the customer service would have exceeded the experience we received. Completely sad.
