Definitely a good spot to watch a game at! Place is massive. Our waitress was super super friendly and gave us recommendations on the giant menu. I got the two meat plate which was plenty of food. However, if you come here I would stick with "bar" food. The ribeye was average which is expected at a sports bar but it was the special so we tried it. This bar advertises that it's open until 2:00 A.M., but we were turned away at 12:59 A.M. because they "don't let people in after 1:00," even though we were on time and sober. Moments later, two women arrived via Uber and were let in--friends of the bouncer. When we asked why, we were told they had "already been here," despite clearly seeing them arrive for the first time. While waiting for our Uber in the parking lot, one of those women shouted at my friend, "Yeah, you SHOULD leave," after overhearing her my friend tell me she needed to get out of this state. The tone and behavior felt racially charged, and the entire experience made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. If there's a strict entry cutoff (over one full hour before closing) fine--but be transparent. Update your hours and make it CLEAR on all platforms so people don't waste time and money on Ubers just to be turned away. read more

We were looking for appetizers to cap off our Friday night and found this place. Live music, outdoor seating and attentive wait staff. Super busy but we didn't wait long for anything. Their jumbo smoked chicken wings were huge hit! I ordered their Fresno Pepper Sauce which was delicious! Wednesday is 1/2 price on apps like fried pickles, fried tomatoes, and chicharrones; which our table ordered were all great! Beer prices reasonable too! Live band playing country music was awesome! It was very loud inside so not a place if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere which is totally understandable bc it is a bar. Service was fast and they were able to accommodate our large group of associates that were in town for a meeting from all over the country. We're from out of town. Took a chance and walked across the street from our hotel to a nearby bar. Glad we did. The Boar's Head is fun! Crazy! Loud! At least tonight. Saturday night 'The Piano Bar'. Two people playing separate pianos at the same time with audience participation! And, it's a full house. Good times! ETA: The bartender was awesome!
