I arrived to watch the College game and grab a bite. Best part is plenty of free parking. Henry Co Police is clearly post in front for our safety. The service is awkward around the bar .. You have to be seated by the Host no walk ups.. The waiter advised me why we where being walked passed. We signaled for service and waited and waited. I didn't eat but the drink was weak and they don't carry Don Julio . Atmosphere was definitely slow and the bathroom wasn't clean. We had a great time playing games here. Did the virtual Dragon flying game and it was a lot of fun but a little over priced. We tried to do the "Download the app" deal advertised all over the venue but it didn't credit us right away. The cashier couldn't help with it either as she wasn't very knowledgeable about it. We had dinner while we were there and the service was good but the food was just mediocre. I had the chicken Parmesan dish (can't remember what it's called) with bruschetta and fettuccini Alfredo and it was a good portion but it was dried out from sitting under the heat lamp. I didn't think it was a $14 dish either. Maybe $11.00. We'd eat there again but maybe just appetizers and then have actual dinner somewhere else. Went on a Sunday and sat at the bar to enjoy the football games. I have noting bad to say about this place! I sat there for several hours, ordered multiple rounds of food and drink, and the lady at the bar was attentive, accurate, and accommodating! As busy as it was this particular Sunday, the bathrooms were exceptionally clean! This location is fairly new and bigger than the average D and B I have visited in SC and NC. Good food and great service! Only thing I was able to get a pic of was the strawberry short cake. It was ok, but the strawberry stuff was cold. While service was good and food flavor was good during my recent visit the portion sizes are small for the high prices. I ordered chicken tenders with a side of mashed potatoes....4 small tenders showed up at the table, price $9.95. The same for my buddies chicken parmigiana. Asked the server how many pieces of chicken came with it, we were told two pieces.....its actually one chicken breast that they cut in half. The only item that was worth the price were the chicken nachos which were actually big enough to share although we had to search for the chicken. Limited edition summer drinks....most of them sold out! Why have these drinks listed on the menu but they are sold out? The World Changers Church International held our volunteer staff appreciation at the McDonough, GA Dave and Buster's location on 5/18/24. The D&B staff were amazing, especially our onsite Event Coordinator! We had the whole place to ourselves for 3 hours and we were treated like royalty! The buffet style food was appetizing and most enjoyable, especially their crab cakes! I saw young & old blending together in fun and games! It was a great time had by all! My own family & I plan too be back soon to hang out & make this our family hangout! 5 stars !!!!! read more

I typically have loved Dave and Busters during my childhood years. I was really excited when they built one in Henry county so I didn't have to go all the way to Marietta. So now as I approach 30 in 9 days [march 18] I come to Dave and busters now mostly for the bar area. I came here with my mom and a friend. As the food was good like always. The service was a bit slow. It took a long time to get drinks and food. We came here for their happy hour and enjoyed that. They have happy hour M-F from 4pm-7pm and also a late night happy hour sun-thurs from 9pm-close. All the alcohol is half off during happy hour so i enjoyed a Long Island for $5 read more

There's a new Dave & Buster's in town, and it's probably one of the best ones yet. Located in Mcdonough, a short 15 minute drive is all I need for some good, old fashioned arcade fun. Navigating through the initial parking lot is a bit of a maze, but you definitely can't miss the building with the big, bright sign. Plenty of parking, always a plus for me. Well lit at night and easy ways to get out once you're there. Customer service was great, there was staff at almost every corner and desk that needed them to be. Even some were walking around to make sure everyone was being helped. Food was okay, typical choices that you come to know from D&B. They have specials for all you can eat wings, happy hours, and deals where you can some game tokens with your meal. All in all, not bad, but also a bit pricey. Games are well places and spread out across the room. I think this is the first D&B that had just about every game I could think of, even some of the newer ones too. Everyone had a good time, especially kids for a school night. It's a great place for kids and the adults can have a sit down to watch sports on one of the many, many tv screens around the bar/dining area. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. I know I'll be coming back soon on my day off. read more

Addie was our waitress and she was awesome! She was very patient and accommodating with our big family. She checked on us often and made sure everything came out correctly. Upon arrival at host station there was 4 employees laughing with each other along with being on their phones. After 5 minutes of waiting they finally sat us down. We sat for 20 minutes and no server acknowledged us. There were 6 workers leaning up against the wall on their phones next to the bar and kitchen. We got up and left and went somewhere else. The wait staff, hosts, clean up employees and the store employees were nothing but rude! We normally go on week days and have never had problems. We dined in the self serve area. Though our server Lstoya was pleasant, their system leaves much to be desired when it comes to hospitality. There is NO system for receiving eating utensils, contacting your server for assistance or checking on your order. The kitchen just sends out food in random order. Our dessert came out before our hot entree was even served. I must say the food was tasty but not excellent. The crispy chicken rools were delish but the fried pickles were way too salty. The ribs and Cole slaw were also tasty. I will wait awhile before visiting their restaurant again. Now off to play games! read more

I love Dave and Busters, but they have gotten to expensive for me. My With and I took my 4 year old Grandson there for his 4 the Birthday and he had a blast. However I spent about $60 for him to play with the games he liked and can you believe after spending that $60 we still didn't have enough tickets to get him the rubber dinosaur (600 tickets). Now that's a shame that after spending $60 on games my Grandson walked out of there on his BIRTHDAY with nothing. My mom and I booked to have a birthday party for my little sister. We booked 2 months in advance. Upon booking the lady who is head of events informed us we could come at 2:45 pm to set up and get the room ready. As we arrived they said they were not opening until 3:00pm because of a private event. That was a inconvenience that was not relayed to the other 75+ customers that had arrived and was waiting to set up as well. We was also told when booking for the event no outside party decorations or cakes couldn't be present. Other guest that where present was allowed to bring in decorations that was not allowed on our contract. With the package we got food: hamburgers, pizza, fries and other things. They gave us sliders that they put half the meat. Kids where complaining and that's unacceptable cause they would rather have fun and play games. So you know it was horrible. The manager who is running the business as a whole was no help either. It was like he didn't care at all. This experience was trash. The best part of the whole in counter was the waiter Xavier. Who they also had serving 3 parties in the same room with minimal help. For the amount of money that was spent service and communication should be way better. This is only my 2nd time visiting this D&B location. Everything was going great until we got our food. Plates come out look great then we lift the wing up only to see this ridiculously long string of hair wrapped around the food our waitress was accommodating and did request to have the food removed from our bill. They brought out a replacement batch of wings which I feel were the same ones honestly and still left it on our bill. Last night my family and I took my niece to Dave and Busters for her birthday. When we got there we waited in line for 45 minutes just to pay them to play games. We got to the location at 930 pm. We went to register to get a table and was told there was a 3 hour wait, but we put our name on the waitlist anyway we were number 102. We were told that the blue area was first come first serve tables, so around 10 pm I finally secured a table in the blue section as they called it. We ordered about 10:15pm, but our food never came. We were waiting so long that kids were crying because they were hungry and kids had fell asleep on the tables. I took it that it was a Saturday and it was just busy. The only thing that upset me more was that it was people who came over an hour after us had gotten food ate and left. At 1130 pm I requested a manager and Dianne came to our table and said she would go check and said they are busy. I waited on Dianne to come back but she never did. I saw Dianne take food to another table that came after us and v line in the opposite direction. After 30 minutes I asked the waitress to go get Dianne again and waitress came back and said Dianne said she is working on it. I saw Dianne go to another table so I went and waited for her to finish. I asked if she had plans to finish my complaint, her response was if I have a complaint so do others. I requested somebody above her she said no. I went to Jeremy the other manager who started with an apology and said he would go see what's going on. Long story short they kept saying 5 minutes but in actuality they lost our ticket, but no one was honest. We finally got food at about 1230am. We requested it to go and our food was thrown in some small black boxes. The kitchen had managed to shove ribs sliders and fries in this small box. Dave and Busters on the commercials is very over rated. This is an over priced chuckee cheese that can't accommodate a large number of people but I guess they see dollar signs. I will never visit another Dave and Busters again. They definitely ruined a birthday. read more
