I don't think I've ever written a bad restaurant review here but this was pretty bad. We had a reservation for 4 when we got there it was very busy. There seemed to be a lot of confusion and it took quite a while to get seated. Once we did the waitress came right over. She was pleasant but you could tell she didn't want to be there. She yawned several times. We ordered drinks and and pastiest. One person in our party ordered an Orange Crush (alcoholic drink) and what was brought out was an orange fanta. He explained that's not what he wanted and the waitress looked puzzled and said they didn't have that. It turns out that we ordered one in the bar later and they do have that. Honest mistake, no big deal, so he ordered something else but when the bill came we were still charged for the Fanta. Anyway, we ordered the nachos which tasted good but were cold. For my meal I ordered the cheeseburger and when it came out the burger patty was inexplicably below room temperature. I worked in a place that sold lots of burgers and I'm not sure how that's even possible. The cheese wasn't melted at all so it wasn't that it sat out after being made it was never hot but someone also cooked. I think it would have been ok if it hasn't been cold. The fried were good and came out hot. Someone else in our party got the chicken sandwich which he said tasted ok but the bun was very soggy so he ended to taking the bottom of the bun off and cutting it up. Had a great time visiting Dave and Buster's last night! Our bartender, Crystal was AMAZING! Seriously! She was super sweet and was completely on top of taking care of us! She had an awesome demeanor and was just super friendly and courteous! Our drinks were amazing as well! We sat at the back bar where the bowling alley is as it was super packed in the front eating area by the door. We did end up bowling a round and had some minor technical difficulties with our lane freezing and stalling however, the staff were very quick to get the issues corrected! We also had delicious burgers for dinner! I mean, they were outstanding! Just the regular burger with added bacon! Everything about our visit was great. We had a really great time and will definitely be open to returning in the future. read more

The only reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is the parking can be tough and they need a few more games. But other than that, I love this place. They have a bowling alley, a pool hall, great games, clean bathrooms, good customer service, et cetera. Other Dave & Busters in the area like the garbage Capital Heights location (which has ARMED police officers in it), and Baltimore aka "White Marsh" (which was my worst Dave & Buster experience to date) could take notes from this place. I really love this place. I live in Washington DC and I'm not to fond of having to drive 30-35 minutes to get out here often, but it's well worth the drive. I've brought some of my dates here, hung out with friends, just kicked back and relaxed after a stressful day in the office, this place is my home away from home at times. Lol. I hope they keep up the good work here. I love how they're located inside the mall too. When I leave I can window shop and even hit the food court. Overall, this place is great. Generally, I'm a kid at heart so when I see a Groupon deal to play non tickets games all day long at a D&B, I snagged it. I arrived and to realized that during summer, D&B opens at 10am, which is much earlier than their usually 11:30am opening for a Sunday. There were hardly anyone there, which works wonderfully for my family. The cashier redemption of the Groupon was easy breezy and soon we all started to play basketball and many arcade shooting video games and car racing. The place is really large or perhaps because no one was hardly there so the place seems big for just my family. We stayed and played for about an hour, left to have lunch at the mall's food court, and then returned back to play some more. My kids had so much fun. The Groupon also includes 30 chips to play with certain ticket winning games and the claw grabbing stuffed animal machines. To my surprised, we actually won five stuffed animals. I wished the D&B in NJ had such deals but they don't but then again, it's probably because in NJ such place get so packed to customers. read more

First of all, this place is awesome! Definitely not just for lil kids, we can stay here for days and not get bored. A group of work mates attempted to have a fun Halloween get-together for lunch. Just a short time away from work to relax and enjoy company. Unfortunately only four of us showed up. Be that as it may, the four of us had an excellent time. We sat at the bar ... I never picked up on the bartenders name but he was nice, friendly, helpful with food and drink choices. I had the blackened salmon with medley rice and sauté spinach. The whole dish was excellent and very flavorful. The food: I know next time not to eat unless I'm starving. I'm always afraid of food poisoning from bar-like places so I ordered a appetizer sampler of wings and sliders. How can you mess that up? Well, you can. The wings were overly fried, they were hard. And the sauce was wayyyyyyyy to salty. The sliders were okay but you can tell they took a thin frozen patty and placed it between a square of mini-Hawaiian rolls.. served with a side of lukewarm fries. My partner ordered a burger and request medium rare, but was told they can only do Med-well or well-done because they use frozen patties. Ughhhhh The drinks: these got progressively better. The first couple I ordered I had them remake. One because there was lipstick on my glass. Two because I asked for ginger and was given sprite. But, after switching from mixed drinks to beer, I was fine. You can mess up beer. The Service: Solid. Every waiter, bartender, manager, staff member I came across was great and accommodating. The games: Hit or miss. Those card readers are a lot to be desired. They work sometimes and not others and credit your game card multiple times, so your stuck playing multiple rounds of the same game. I've been to Dave & Buster's in other cities and the service was always good. This occasion I came for a work function and all went well. All of the servers were positive and they replenished the food in a timely fashion. Room reservations are available and you can build a package for the various types of food you'd like to offer your guests. This is a location where you can bring the whole family. With that being said understand that there will be kids running around and adults running behind them. The menu for those dining at tables is varied enough that even the pickiest of eaters will be able to satisfy their hunger. Game cards are available and can be reloaded. I enjoy the interactive games and the old school arcade games that I mastered in middle school. I can recommend this location to those doing a date night or a family in search of a family outing. read more

Being here during covid makes me really uncomfortable... there is hang sanitizer provided but I never saw anyone wiping down the games. Games are blocked off for safe distancing, but if no one is regularly wiping down, what's the point of this? I came on a Wednesday so it was 50% off games, which is a great deal. However, it was pretty busy and there were lots of kids and teens around. It seemed there weren't enough servers either because I saw a couple dirty tables left uncleaned for the hour or so that I was there (I didn't eat there). Wow!!!! What a joke!!! Went here on August 1st, 2022 around 12:30 and was the absolute worst dinning experience I have ever had. We went in and waited for a table, no signs that say seat yourselves. We waited 10 minutes to be seated. (Mind you there was one other family dining in at this time). After we were rudely seated, we waited another ten minutes for our waitress to come and ask us for our drinks. My girlfriend and I ordered a water and my brother ordered a tea. My friend asked for a Red Bull, and after the waitress told us she had them, came back and said she doesn't . We waited another 10 minutes for our drinks. My brother asked for sugar for his tea, and to have the waitress look at my brother and say "you look like you need more sugar." RUDE! She finally took our order and the food was just awful. We waited 30 minutes for our food and it was terrible. My chicken tenders tasted like fish, my girlfriend's salad tasted like it was last nights mesh, and the only redeeming thing were the fries!!! After we ate this rubbish, we waited 1 hour for our bill. I was tempted to just leave because no one cared about my business but I knew it wasn't right to dine and dash so I waited. Eventually, we got it at 2:45. The waitress screwed the splitting of the bill by charging another drink, and split the bill wrong. We waited ten minutes for the final bill, and we paid and left. I don't feel bad for the 75 cent tip we left because our waitress obviously didn't care about us. My brother left a 1 cent, and he even thought that was too much. Fun place for the family during the day, but more for adults during the evening hours with bowling, pool, an arcade, big screens for sports and a restaurant all in one! I have been here several times and have even witnessed the renovations over the years of the restaurant mostly. I don't eat here very often, but have had a chance to sample some things. The food is a little better than chains such as Applebee's and Ruby Tuesdays, but not by much! I go mostly for the arcade and games that give you tickets for points that you can later redeem for prizes. All games require a Power card that can be recharged whenever you want and I would highly recommend maxing out purchases with these cards to give you additional funds. read more

ROACHES!!! My family ate at Dave and Busters in Hanover MD at Arundel Mills on Friday 23 June at approximately 6pm. When we arrrived, we went to the first host station where there were 5 employees. 2 of them were doing each other's hair, and the other 3 were on their cell phones. We waited for a considerable amount of time there, but no one acknowledged us. So we went to a second host station where they seated us. We got very prompt service by a server that was amazingly nice. My wife ordered a salad. I ordered a steak and pasta meal. We ordered a kids meal to share between our two toddlers. We also ordered lettuce wraps for an appetizer and a goose island IPA. Our appetizer never came, but the food came very quickly so we weren't too worried about it. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect as they brought me a steak and mashed potatoes meal. I tried to send it back but my server never came back to see us. My family finished their meals and I hadn't eaten yet so I flagged down another server. At that time, he got our server and they worked on getting my meal and I also ordered another goose Island. The food came out very fast again, but I never received my second beer. Shortly after getting my meal, a roach crawled out of the wall by where we were sitting. We informed management who comped my meal. However, they still charged us for my wife's and kid's meal as well as 2 beers. At this point, my toddlers were getting restless so I paid the bill to include a 20% tip for the server and got them out of there. I came back to ask for a refund for my second beer as it never arrived. I thought paying full price for my wife's and kid's meal as well as my first beer seemed reasonable since we did eat/drink them before we noticed the roach, but I was upset I was charged $6 for a second beer I never received. When I came back, one manager (female, white, short, long brown hair) was very nice and gave me $6 in cash to reimburse me for the beer. However, the senior manager working at the time, Steve Perry, was very rude to me and my family. He had a smug smile on his face and never seemed at all remorseful about our experience. I worked in food service for 11 years. Nothing that happened at today's meal was a deal breaker to include the roaches. Roaches happen... fix it. But what was the deal breaker was the manager Steve Perry's smug response to our concerns. I do not believe the proper management is in place in Hanover VA which is a significant blemish on your establishment. I will certainly never go back to this Dave and Buster's, and I am unsure I will ever go to any Dave and Buster's in the future. read more

Ordered the 5 item sampler to get us started. It was HUGE. The chicken wings were small (not a fan of big wings) and very good. Pretzel dogs, quesadilla, and fried shrimp were the next 3 items. Sports and Social at Maryland Live Casino was soooo busy on Sunday I decided to go watch the 1pm NFL games at Dave and Busters. I was seated immediately and had some fries and a few beers.I enjoy watching the Ravens but I'm an Eagles fan. The manager noticed I was watching the Eagles games and offered me a speaker(free of charge) so I could hear the game. I was very impressed that this restaurant went the extra mile In service and personalized comfort. Eat somewhere else before you go here to play games. The food was horrible even after waiting an hour and a half for food. The giant pretzel had raw dough, my sons food came out cold, and the chocolate cake came out gross and the ice cream was just a pool of liquid. Drinks were good though. The manager said he had been walking around comping peoples checks all day. Apparently he can't get his staff under control. The toys you get aren't worth it. Flew to Baltimore for New Years with family and went here because the kids (teenagers) wanted to go (we had a reservation elsewhere mind you).. Not a great fan of this place but the kids like it.. We waited an hour for a table with minimal communication from the host. By the time we got seated it was 8pm.. sure it's a busy time of year but we were a party of 8 and there were plenty of tables (we could have sat separately). Anyway we were not offered this option despite their host seating everyone else.. all it talks is a little foresight! Drinks from the bar once we ordered were slow and the food service even slower. While the 2 adults and kids had burgers and fries, my wife and I had salad/lettuce wraps. These came out after all the hot food (which took almost 45mins before the first lot of food made it too the table) and the salad was limp and pathetic looking. Very poor food presentation. Obviously it was slapped together out of a bag and a little grates cheese thrown over it. My wife couldn't even eat it Was was so bland and poorly presented. No onion, tomato, or anything except a cheap ranch dressing.. lack of presentation is a huge point in the food industry - and while some don't care, many also do.. We barely finished all of our meals as many we already cold and been obviously waiting for servers to take them to the table... cold food = poor form, again. Our host Mike was nice, helpful but obviously overworked with tables as we saw him only three times the whole night.. This place doesn't have expensive food at all, but what food it does serve should be presented well and at least soon after it's cooked. The cheese on the cheeseburger my son had looked like melted plastic, it was so shiny and hard. Can't say I would go back to eat there; I definitely would have preferred our original booking, but teenagers influence is strong when they want to be in the games area. Not next time. So we went on a Thursday to watch preseason Football. So we sat in the sports bar area. Our Server came over and took our drink order pretty quick. We took a little time to look over the menu before we ordered our food. Once we ordered our food it did not take to long to receive our food. I ordered the $19.99 unlimited wings, we had the cheeseburger, and lettuce warps. The cheese was ok, and so were the lettuce wraps. The winds come with Fries. However when my wings came out they forgot my fries and the lady that brought out the food seem as if we were annoying her when we ask for condiments and my fries. The wings were COLD. Also they don't tell you if you don't ask but they only give you five at a time and It is a little more for bone in wings. Now we have to wait on our waitress to come back and check on us. Which was about 30 mins. Buy that time we had almost finished our food. They really needed more serves because we had to wait to order drinks. We had to raise our hand to get our servers attention to order drinks. Then when we were ready to go we had to signal her several time to get our check. They young lady that was our server was very nice but she was running all over the place. So I would have to say allowing cold food to come out, and VERY SLOOOOOOW service is a management issue. Not good when you go there for the first time on a slow night ***see pics** for a young teen birthday dinner and our only a party of 7. We waited about an 1 hr for our dinner...not kidding and the place wasn't busy at all. A senior citizen family member ordered her salad early and didn't get it until we questioned what the heck was going on. We were told by OUR waitress (after we asked someone else to find her!!) it was sitting in the kitchen waiting to be picked up. Our waitress then said she had it remade so it would be fresh but why not pick it up the first time? Before even returning with the salad she did proceed to bring over a stranger's baby from another table to our table and say "Sorry, I couldn't resist this cute baby!" We were completely shocked and annoyed at this point. I guess at least someone (the stranger's baby) was getting her attention. She saw our look and said hold on I will be right back which she did after taking her time. There was one waitress serving two tables adjacent to us and was on it. Very attentive. I had to ask her for refill waters. I did ask this waitress (not our own mind you b/c she was no where to be seen for a loooong time) and 2 different people (a table cleaner included in this) for refills on water, naps, and where our food was. The manager did come and comp for the salad and a little of the other food which was something to make amends for the disastrous service. Honestly, the overall dining experience will be remembered as terrible on what should have been a relaxing dinner and the damage was done. This really shouldn't have happened as this was a small party of 7 and literally lots of EMPTY tables around. We explained about the salad and he said sorry. I then explained how the second meal was brought out alone without the rest of the dinners and asked why this happened. He said he was talking about the salad and didn't see/know about the rest of the dinners. So I told him. I think some waiter training is in order. I speak from experience as a former Friday's worker and would have been fired that type of service. Honestly, just go somewhere else unless you want to spend almost $300 here and leave with a disappointing experience. read more

As a 37 year old man, it is quite pathetic that this is my first time at a Dave and Busters. What a dang cool environment. It's like Buffalo Wild Wings with more games and scenery. Our waitress was fantastic, and they were quick with our food (14 people in our party) and we never waited on drinks. On to the food, I had some nachos off their appetizer menu and WOW, I would say pretty much the best nachos I have had. They were YUGE too! I really really enjoyed my time. I live less than 15 minutes from this location, so when I go home and my food was cold and wrong: I was throughly pissed. I order Buffalo traditional wings with ranch, sticky Korean ribs, truffle fries, and a strawberry shortcake. Upon opening my bag (once home) , I realized that I have (4) Buffalo chicken tenders, overcooked/inedible ribs, and a melted strawberry shortcake. I've tried to call the locations, numerous times, however the G.M voicemail box is full. And can't get directly through to speak with someone about the issue. $80 worth of food, completely wasted. She was literally eating and talking at the same time. I recently had a car accident where my face was swollen. We've been to Arundel Mills quite a few times and never noticed they had a Dave and Buster's on site. With the restrictionsfor the movie theater, there was less people blocking our otherwise obstructed view of the entrance. My aunt had come down from her area of MD to hang out with us. Since we were looking for fun times with decent food, games and drinks, it was a natural choice to come here. The protocols for covid-19 are pretty good with social distancing and cleanliness, so we felt comfortable eating indoors. The staff was all friendly, our server was particularly friendly and kept her mask on the entire time. She made great suggestions for options for the whole table as well as individual selections. We decided to skip the games due to lack of child supervision. So we opted to stay at our table and watch games on the big screens all around the place. We requested the table and chairs to be wiped and the waitress came out with a wet cloth to use on the table and chairs. Food was not good, celery was soo old that came with my Buffalo wings. And don't get me started on the nachos. Ugh! They were disgusting not cooked enough the cheese was clumped together which made it impossible to pick up each nacho. Very disappointing. It took forever for the food to come out and when it did there was no seasoning, the philly cheese sliders meat was like beef jerky, the cheese wasn't even melted, there was almost no buffalo sauce on the wings, and the food was cold. Tonight was our first trip to a Dave & Busters. We did the whole trip, with dinner and gaming. Dinner was pretty expensive to be honest. For what you get it's not worth the cost. I personally ordered a side salad which was not very fresh or tasty. The Nachos on the appetizer I highly recommend. They were very good!! Our waiter was not very good at all. He was very friendly but kept forgetting to refill our drinks. It took him an hour to even take our dinner order after we received our appetizers. He said he just simply forgot. The game play area was surprisingly almost all kids. That was a disappointment since I thought you had to at least be accompanied by an adult to be in the game area. I was hoping for more of an adult (or young adult) atmosphere. But there were kids everywhere!! I would probably be willing to try Dave & Buster's again, but if I had the same experience I would not return to be honest. read more
