My family and I frequent this Dave & Busters as we are usually in the area and it's a great place to have some fun with the kids! It's located on the corner of NE 4th St & 116th Ave NE of Bellevue. Dave & Buster's dim lighting, music and game lights gives it a fun's and fast paced ambience. We like how the game area is not crowded and there are lots of room between you and the next person. When the kids get hungry and thirty after playing games, we usually order a few appetizers to hold them over before dinner. Service is pretty quick. read more

This was the first time I visited a Dave & Buster's and I didn't hate it! I was a little worried, given the negative Yelp reviews; but fortunately, my friend and I had a fun time here watching Seahawks football over delicious drinks and food. Located on the upper floor of where Target, PCC and Virginia Mason is in central Bellevue, parking is easy to find with its own garage. We came here specifically to watch the Seahawks game and it's a great place for it, with a ton of TVs everywhere. And on a Tuesday night for the game, it wasn't as busy as other places would be for a game night. We sat at the bar and witnessed that there were only two staff members for the entire bar area, so service was a little slow in the beginning. If anything, I just felt bad for the staff. However, as the night continued on, more staff came to help out at the bar, so we didn't have any issues with service. We came during happy hour where beers are a dollar off and cocktails are half off. I am not normally a sweet cocktail person, but I was told that I needed to try their cocktails here, as they have a ton of specialty ones. I first ordered a Patron margarita, which you can't go wrong with. It was solid, especially since Patron is my favorite tequila. I then tried the strawberry mango snow cone and ugh, it's so freaking good! It's basically a strawberry and mango slushy with vodka. Yes, please! Food was also pretty good. I figured it would be standard pub fare, but feed me truffle fries with their housemade dipping sauces and I'm set! We also tried their nachos and pretzel dogs, which weren't bad. But of all the grub, the truffle fries were my favorite. I would definitely come back here and try more of their food, which looked appetizing. Although we didn't check out any of their games, it'll be there for next time! Dave & Busters is probably the second best arcade setting around here and it's nice because it's closer to the heart of Seattle. Round 1 is my pick for the best. This place is new so I'm hopeful for constant improvements, but it's already in a solid place. I'm mostly reviewing the arcade experience, not the food or service. Overall, the variety is nice but machines are malfunctioning. I'm an avid claw machine player and the ones here aren't impressive, but better than GameWorks. The prizes aren't very enticing (mainly boring or small plushies). Seemed like one of the most popular games was the axe throwing one, but it was pretty buggy. We played VS mode and you get three throws, but very often a single axe would somehow count as three throws and it'd move on to the next player despite us having two axes ready to throw. Overall a mess and we probably lost some plays due to that. We also spent some time at the pearl pusher (a better coin pusher) and ran into some issues. Got a nice streak which led to 600 tickets that we watched count down (it's so slow and counts ticket by ticket) before checking our balance only to find out that nothing was added. Our history showed our credits being taken for plays but never awarded the tickets. Ticket rewards seemed pretty fair though, but prices for credits is higher than other places so I think it balances out. Overall, a great variety in arcade games but probably understaffed (they're hiring) with broken machines that need repair. There were a few out of order machines. read more

The host was super helpful in explaining one was the best time to get a table as of course the kids wanted to play first. My first thought was that it was a lot smaller than a Federal Way Location. They still had enough selection though. To give context we paid I think $50 or $75 and received about 400 points which was good for a family of five. We also purchased additional attractions which for six dollars each for the virtual experience. The food looked and tasted amazing I paid $20 for the salmon with rice and asparagus. The service at this place is abysmal. The place is pretty empty after 8 pm. The waiters just stand around doing nothing and it takes forever to get your drinks or food or even water. We were told that the bar was open seating so we went to pick seats and was then told it was only the seats at the actual bar that are open seating not that entire area. There are no signs at any of the openings that say wait to be seated so we had to go back to the front. The cashier found a hostess then we were seated. It felt like a lot just to sit down. Everything came quick after that. The wings, garlic fries, and menchego chicken were the best. The sauce in the flatbread didn't taste good to me. The drinks were weak. Tasty but weak. I'm not really sure why the reviews for this place are so negative. When you go to a gaming facility and there are like 100 games, you should expect a couple to be out of order. We had a really good time. We had dinner, and I can definitely say the menu and food is almost exactly like Red Robin. Even though we arrived 45 minutes after a Huskies game had started and it was quite busy, we were seated almost immediately. Our server was stellar. She was super friendly, conversational (but not too much) and repeated our order back to us to make sure it was perfect. The games were clean and lots of fun. I came to this D&B with a friend just to eat dinner and hang out while playing some games. This isn't a review of a party experience so if you're bringing a big group, you might experience something different. Before you go though, don't ever refill or buy your power card while dining, do it at the front separately. More on this later. The food was very basic. I ordered the tenders and my friend ordered the salmon. It took a big to get out to us but the bar area was relatively filled so the kitchen could have been busy. The waiter took our orders in a timely manner at least and didn't forget about us. I wouldn't speak highly of the food, but the prices aren't sky high either. While dining, we knew we were going to play some games afterwards so we asked our waiter to give us the 400 point power card. All that is included when they ask for tip. I don't mind tipping on food but if the powercard is going to double my bill, I would like to just tip on the food. I'm pretty sure D&B are aware of this so I'm probably going to always ask for a power card refill at the front desk and not in the dining area. I'm not even sure if I'll come back to the dining area since there are a lot of options around, especially if you are willing to drive down the street to downtown Bellevue. The gaming experience was very fun. Nothing was out of service and it wasn't too packed to the point where we weren't able to play what we wanted on a friday night. My friend and I shared a powercard together with 400 points loaded. We ended up spending about 300 between the two of us so I'll probably reload to that extent next time. And good kids food options. --Parking was easy. --Clean large bathrooms and family bathroom --clean + empty when we went (11:30 on a Fri with most schools in session. I didnt really know how it worked but the server actually is the one who checked us in and got $ on our card so then I said I wanted to place an order for lunch ahead of time and she took us to a booth where we placed our order then played. This worked out perfectly. No waiting for food and drink. My son got a blue slushie thing and because they were out of the flashing cubes they put the gummy worms on top and he was sold! We ordered kids cheeseburger, kids mac and cheese, a pop, basket of fries, and a kids slushee blue drink for $28. Which was a good deal considering the amt of food. The cheeseburger was big too. Our server came and found us in the arcade as she didn't want our food to get cold which was beyond awesome Service. Games: Fun for 7 year old. Expensive to play if you had to keep watching the claw machine over and over again ( we had better luck with the giant stuffie one than the 4 by the bathrooms. Its like the prizes were purposely too heavy or something for the claws. We saw lots of kids try with 0 wins. Would recommend they check into diff prizes. Note for parents: stuffies inside the ticket prize area were less than 900 tickets so it would have been cheaper to spin the wheel a couple times and rack up tickets than spend half the day in front of a claw. We spent a lot of time at The plinko game, and the football one too. Skee ball we played an out of bounds ball and needed to retrieve it. It was so clean on ground when picking it up. Cons: 1. Sold out of all pizzas. Seemed odd. Server said it had been gone all week. 2. No hungry hungry hippo game. I thought they had it here as it was on website but nope. 3. The candy redemption prizes seemed high. Easier to go to target instead next door. 4. A hassle to add more to your arcade card and the person doing it both times took a bit of time to do it and then the register paper was out. The app wasnt working for payment either. 5. They had soooo much space to section off happy hour crowd vs families. It seemed odd. rowdy crowd was seated next to like 3 year olds when there were many other options. I was wondering if it was just for convenience of server walking less 6. Giant Pac Mac didn't work for us. It would start and show half the yellow dot but wouldn't move using joystick. Its like it didn't load fully or something. It was a fun day with the kid and it wasnt crowded and it was clean and he left full and with some prizes so no need to take away more than a star for the cons items. I can tell the bartender is a newbie as he was really struggling on getting drinks out. Storytime: First off, we had a nasty, spiteful conversation with the woman at the front desk. She said we couldn't sit at the restaurant if we weren't over 21. To sit in an arcade restaurant. ???. We ended up getting takeout, and only got 2 items out of our 6 item order. Then, come to find out, that whole rule about having to be 21 to be served was complete B.S. We then sat down and plated our own food. To top it off, some woman came up and took pictures of us, out of the blue, then charged us $20 for each picture taken, which were all framed. Ambience was great. Got this place recommended by Ford dealership while our car was getting oil change known as "the works." Whenever we are in town we will definitely go again and this time make sure it's on happy hour so we can get drinks at $5 bucks. This was one of my go-to places during the pandemic, it was bright and spacious with good ventilation, nice staff, and a decent menu. But in the past year it is straight downhill. It takes up to 30 minutes just to get noticed to order a beer and food. The menu changes regularly, and the options are actually more limited than during the pandemic. Super-spreader COVID fun arcade! Been to D&Bs in other mid-west cities while on business trips, but never with the family, so decided to check this new place out with the wife and our teenage son for dinner and games on Fri night. We arrived around 7pm, and they were about 1/3 full it seemed, and everyone had masks on. We were seated right away, in the very back dining area. We ordered drinks and food right away, but the drinks took some time to come out and the food took a very long time to come out, even tough we did not order any things special. It was at this time we started looking around for hand sanitizer stations and saw done, so we asked the waiter. He brought over a large bottle that they had at the bussing station; then took it away once we each had a dose. My wife and I split an order of nachos and the chimichurri salad. Both were very good, much better than we expected for this type of place. Our son ordered the Octoberfest burger; basically a cheese burger with a sliced bratwurst inside too. He said it was good, and he liked the fries. So we give then 4 star for the quality of the food, but 2 star for the slowness and 1 star for the way that several of the servers where wearing their masks with their noses exposed. Not good at all, given all the clearly under 12 yr kids dining in the same room. On to the games. We enjoyed the wide variety that they had, and the pricing was not too high. However, we noticed that there ZERO hand sanitizer stations on the game floor and that there was no one going around and cleaning things. We though, "well, we are vaccinated, it's not too crowded and people are wearing masks, so we will do some games". However, as the night went on, the place filled up further, and there were then many folks wearing their masks down on their necks. At this point we were getting too nervous and decided to leave. We suspect this place will soon be ID'd as a COVID super-spreader location. We did finally saw just 1 guy for the whole place, trying to go around and sanitize the game surfaces; but it was a loosing battle. So 4 star for the good quality and great variety of games, but -4 star for the poor COVID measures. So overall, 2 star. We will not be back until COVID is over and gone. read more

Not that we have high expectations for Dave & Busters, but really blown away by the lack of service at this Bellevue location. We were gifted a gift card for D&B so we figured we'd go watch an NBA playoff game there and use it. When we arrived there was a sign that said "see host to be seated" but there was no host in sight. There were plenty of bartenders/servers in eyesight but none of them came to attend to us, despite the fact that the place was not busy at all. After waiting over 5 minutes for a host to show up, we walked to the bar to ask if we should seat ourselves. The basketball game was not showing on any TV, so we were looking around for it when a server came to us and asked us what we wanted to watch. We sat at the bar and were told they'd try to get the game on. Time passes and no game, so we ask again. Another 5+ minutes later and the game still hasn't been put on, so we ask a different server a third time. This server looked pretty annoyed by our request. Still, the game doesn't come on. No one tells us anything about it, no communication about whether or not they can get the game on. If they had come and told us "hey we don't have the channel" or "sorry for the wait we are working on it", we may have been less annoyed. My partner really wanted to watch the game so we figured we'd ask for our food to go and watch at home. We almost walked out before the food came but figured we'd wait for it and use the gift card, since we never will be coming back. The party deal came with burgers, fries, Mac-n-cheese and unlimited drinks. The burgers were really dry and overdone- they were almost inedible. They did not seem to be made fresh- my guess would be they make them all early and leave them out until the parties arrive. The Mac-n-cheese had zero flavor. Not sure if the cooks tasted it before sending it out. The fries were good but really cold. I'd give the food a 2 rating overall. The food is pretty good if you're hungry. The service on Saturday evenings is okay. I'm not sure if you need to appear as if you have money or something but I ordered a drink and asked for my bill and then another couple of customers who showed up much after I did asked the same thing. The bartender promptly served them both their drinks and got them their bill while I waited another 3-5 minutes. The waitress then continued to socialize with customers. I was a bit tired of waiting because I had been having similar moments at the bar the whole evening (over the course of 2-3 hours so I asked another bartender at the other side. That bartender served me immediately. Then the first bartender saw I was being helped and then ran down to the end I was at saying she finished my drink but was gone. Very Disappointed this time. The reason why I'm writing this review is because of the service that I received last night and for them not to believe our situation with our point card. We were missing 4o + points, I had my kids explain to three people and they all said "no it's accurate" so the last person brought a manager to me and asked me "what's the issue?" So I had to explain for my kids and they finally printed a time line and you can see the hoop session kept charging every three seconds for many times and my kids only played 3. Manager said "well, if you leave it close the scanner it will keep charging" and when I was telling her how many points she cuts me off and firmly told me "I'm giving you 10 dollars credit and that's it" I could have been a total B*tch especially me working a 10 hr shift and bringing my kids here straight after work but I didn't wanna ruin my kids night because they been asking me to take them back here. I take my children here almost every week and for their birthdays since they opened. I always received excellent service and this is the reason why it was my favorite D&B location. We would bring our family and friends here for both my son's birthdays. The past managers were so KIND and ALWAYS checked on us. So for the group of employees that worked last night, I'm disappointed that you guys didn't believe us. Funny thing it was 40+ points and my kids were treated like liars. I will be taking a break from this location for now. I do want to add the servers in food area are Excellent and provide great customer service so this makes me a little sad. First time visit here and came on a Thursday afternoon. Not far off the I-405 exit, D&Bs sits in a complex that has other retail and also a parking structure. Parking structure has both elevator and escalator so it's nice not having to wait for an elevator. The place was not busy at all and space was nice and clean. There is a large bar as soon as you walk into the place and tables with several large screen TVs to watch. We didn't try the food so this review is more based on the arcade experience. It has it's mix of arcade games ranging from those that need skill and those based on luck. My son just turned 5 so there's a good amount that he could play to earn tickets and redeem for prizes. At 4:50 I gave up waiting and went up to the bar to order. A lovely young man took my order. 30 minutes later, our burgers arrived. 30 minutes for hamburgers in a deserted restaurant? 6 o'clock rolled around, and we still hadn't got the check. So I had to go up AGAIN to make it happen. There were about a dozen waitstaff milling around, and no one seemed to know what their job was. I told the one that approached me I needed the check. I had to the menu and pointed to what we had ordered. Instead of finding a way to give me a total I could pay, he wanted to know what booth I was at. By this time, the booth is irrelevant just let me pay! He turns and leaves, and another waitstaff person at the register asks me what I ordered. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I said, "I just told him." Her response was, "Well, I didn't hear." Where do you find these people? By then, I was so ticked off, I said, "I'm not paying," and went back to my booth to cool off. I decided to go back to the bartender, who didn't make me feel like this was all my fault. He was more accommodating but made the excuse that "We're understaffed." Really?
