It is a nice place tucked away in the corner of a small strip shopping center. Each time I have gone in I have been greeted by staff. Including this Sunday. I tend to walk around shops such as this one in a clockwise manner. That way I help avoid missing any treasures. Plus my friend Loretta has one of the first spaces in that direction. I like to take my time and admire all of the nice items. This shop carries a lot of vintage and antique items. It brings back such sweet memories. I saw many things I wanted but I have to keep in mind the want VA needs. After I took my first gander I went back to Loretta's Niche and picked out a ceramic piece that has 5 tubes and the word F A I T H written on each. Perfect to propogate some clippings. I also found a nice low profile ring at another space, and picked a nice chilled soda out of the refrigerator with items for sale. They have fresh coffee in a little room, with books etc for sale, if anyone wants a nice hot cup and they have bagged snacks for sale. An added bonus. The young lady who was working has been very pleasant each time I have visited recently. She also carefully wrapped my ceramic piece up nicely. There is honestly something for everyone in VA VINTAGE.

The clothing racks are clearly marked by size and the different sections are arranged according to styles with attention to colors. Shoppers be warned. I have been a customer at many designer consignment stores and this is by far…read moreone of the worst. If not the worst. First off, nothing in the store is priced. I would ask how much something was and the woman working there thought about it for a minute, as if she were testing to see how much she could charge me, and then give me a price. Very few items in the store were priced to sell. All of this doesn't compare to the shock I felt when she quoted me the price ($2200) on a very fake Chanel. I knew immediately upon touching it that it was a fake. The "leather" was not the soft buttery leather synonymous with Chanel. The other reason I knew the bag was fake was when I opened it, the leather was completely peeling like a cheap purse from Aldo. I showed the woman working and asked if it was real and she tried to show me the "authentication card" to verify its authenticity. She assured me it was real and that her years working at LV gave her the experience to authenticate luxury bags. I'll let the picture speak for itself! Again, beware of a store that advertises as "designer" but does not have the authenticate inventory to back it up. You will have a much better experience going to a really luxury consigner like Double Take in VA Beach.
