I personally work with Dr. Ackerman and have colleagues who work with Dr.P and they are both extremely professional and knowledgeable. I am an aerialist by profession so you can imagine the effect that would have on someone's body after repetitively putting your body through that type of training. I suffered from migraines, upper back and shoulder pain chronically and always assumed "it came with the territory" of what I do, I was wrong. I was very nervous of being told that I wouldn't be able to do what I was doing any longer but upon my first and second visits Dr.Ackerman eased my fears and explained what our journey to recovery would look and really delves into the "why" behind everything we do which I greatly appreciate. It is so much more motivating to follow a regiment when you understand the "why". I am about 3 months into my journey with them and I am happy to say my body and life has changed for the positive and I will prioritize this type of care from here moving forward. My migraines are gone and the relief I feel is indescribable. These doctors are truly healers and I recommend them any chance I get. You will not be disappointed that this is the office you choose. Dr. Greg has been able to work with him over the last few months and my son is really starting to develop into a decent pitcher. Unlike many other pitching instructors where the parents do not know what is being taught, Dr Greg patiently explains the process that he is using. He is a National Pitching Association certified instructor and besides the technical pitching stuff, he stresses arm care for younger pitchers. He has developed a strong rapport with my son in that he can be firm with him without being critical and still get him to respond and correct errors immediately.

I have never been to a chiropractor, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I walked in and waited for a few minutes. I was placed into a room to wait for Dr. Hess. The man came in. He was friendly and professional. I got on a table, and he examined my back. Checking to see what could be causing it. Checking to see movement. Etc. When we were done, he laid out what I should expect and set up another appointment. Over the next few weeks, the pain subsided and movement increased. Our masseuses Abby and Jackie were amazing. They were pleasant, thorough, and attentive. My husband surprised me with a couples massage and booked the "We Will Rock You" package. The couple's suite was super clean. A dimly lit room that had two perfectly laid out heated beds, an electric fireplace, and two elegant boxes to place our clothes inside. I loved the music that was lightly playing in the background. The instrumentals created a warm and relaxing environment. It felt as though our 90-minute session flew by, but really, I don't think we would've ever wanted it to end. It was that good! Rose-scented facial mist, Hot Stone Massage, everything was wonderful. We appreciated being asked "if the pressure and the temperature of the rocks were ok", We held the most tension in our neck & back, so they focused on those areas a lot to work out the knots. Wave-like motions. Long strokes, from the starting point all the way to the extremities. Often, the movement seemed like it was synchronized with the music lol! Both masseuses were skilled and intentional in everything they did. Afterwards, we felt light as rain. Hands On HealthCare Message Therapy is an excellent place to book a massage. We look forward to discussing targeted areas for future sessions and recommending them to our family and friends.

This was a spectacular experience that saved me a lot of pain, money and aggravation!!! In October…read moreI was diagnosed with a partial tear of my labrum and rotator cuff. I went to see an Orthopedist who suggested a cortisone shot, told me to wait a few weeks to see if it begins the healing process, if not, schedule a surgery and take care of it while I'm still (fairly) young (Im 52) and in good health...After 3 days the cortisone shot wore off I began researching orthopedic surgeons...I decided to reach out to Tom Lavrigata, I knew he had great contacts at one of the most reputable orthopedic hospitals in Manhattan....During the conversation, where we discussed the long recovery period related to surgery, Tom asked if I researched platelet injections....Funny, because another friend of mine, a doctor, had mentioned that for a different ailment....I explained that I hadn't but I would start that day...After a quick google search i learned of the great success people were having with this least invasive procedure and decided to definitely give it a shot (no pun intended)...I called Tom, we scheduled an appointment at his location. I was really impressed at how nice, new, clean and professional his location was...Within 15 minutes he had withdrawn my blood and started the spinning down of my platelet process...He then reinjected the platelets into my shoulder - minimal pain....and said lets see how you feel in 2 weeks....I have to tell you - within two days my shoulder started feeling better, it wasnt healed bit the platelets went to work on my tendinitis and brusitis, relieving and reducing a lot of the swelling almost instantaneously. 6 weeks later and I am back in the gym doing shoulder and chest exercises - lets be honest, my shoulder is not completely healed, it will take more time to regenerate the injured area, but I have much, much, much less pain and fewer issues moving my arm. I am considering doing another injection in a few weeks, just to really enhance the healing process. I am so grateful that Tom and I discussed this process and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of having surgery. The process is so fast and pain free that you should definitely consider it. Tom was great through the entire process, explained what they were going to do, the healing stages and then stayed in touch with me on a weekly basis. 100% recommend these guys. they will change the gace or surger with this new procedure! Thanks Tom.
