Every time I've been to him, he takes his time to assess and address the problem. Everything from a light stretch to good, firm adjustments. I've been to several chiropractors in my life and found that I prefer the more "heavy-handed" adjustments. In other words, he's got the ability to move your body for the proper adjustments when other chiropractors may be limited in their scope of adjustments. I've consistently left his office feeling better every time without question. I moved out of NY a little over 9 years ago and recently came back for Thanksgiving with my family that still lives in NY. With a recent work injury, the 10+ hr drive to NY had my back feeling the worst I've felt in a few years. Out of the four days I was in Ny, I went to him three. My drive back home felt 10x better than the way up. Setting aside the actual adjustments, he gave me sound advice to minimize the effects of my injury. To go a step further, my experience at his office that's new to me as I've been out of NY for so long was very nice. Very well put together and organized. Very clean and even smells nice. You can tell the true character and professionalism of someone when the immediate surroundings they work in are well-organized a neat. I couldn't recommend Dr. Papalia enough. I don't care what your bodily issues or chief complaints are, I'm confident that he can minimize your pain efficiently and effectively. The front desk staff was pleasant, but I had a specific condition that I confirmed to be coming in for prolozone therapy. I had noted emphatically that I wasn't going to come unless my Aetna insurance covered these services. I had received not only a phone call confirming yes my insurance covered it, I also received an email. It wasn't until after the technician took a scan that I was immediately informed that the office didn't offer prolozone therapy, and that I could come in for 'physical therapy.' I had already seen an orthopedic hand surgeon who had confirmed that there is no physical therapy for trigger finger in the thumb. I never saw a doctor, never received results from the scan that I think was taken, after 2 follow up phone calls. Last week I did receive their invoice for $1300! Not only did I never see a doctor, I was led to believe that my insurance covered this, only to find out from my insurance company that not one penny was covered. I was even charged $85 for a wrist brace that I couldn't get over my hand, so I left it with the front desk before leaving the office. I am appealing the invoice in its entirety, as I am not even sure that images were even taken!

I do lidocaine muscle injections, acupuncture, medical massage, and see the chiropractor. The staff is absolutely amazing and so nice. The nurse practitioner, Jaclyn, is so knowledgeable and really cares about her patients. I usually see Jeremy for acupuncture and he is awesome, he knows his stuff and can release muscles that you didn't even know were tight! The massage therapists are all amazing and able to find your hidden muscle knots. I've seen Serena a few times and she is so strong and good at relieving tension headaches. The receptionists are very welcoming and helpful. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this place and everyone working there is amazing. They take your pain seriously and want to help you!
