He also has a stretching station where he gives you stretches to work on to strengthen the muscles that are weakened from your condition. When I first came to the office, my neck and back were in severe pain from a car accident I had. I couldn't even move my neck in either direction. I have been seeing Dr. Ackerman since 5/13/16. That was when I first went in for my free consultation. We had a great conversation of my chronic pain and what I was feeling. He discussed his approach and philosophy with me then preformed some tests and scans of both my back and feet. I was amazed at the results and the explanation I got of those results. Since then we have worked together in implementing his philosophy and recommendations. I now have corrective orthotics in my shoes which I wear every day. I have been going at least once a week for an adjustment but when I first started it was more frequently until we both felt it was time to come once a week.
