There was literally no wait to be seen as they have a system down. I moved from one treatment to the next without pause and the staff was helpful and courteous the entire time. Even the receptionist is always pleasant and personable, which is not always the situation because they are the front lines of unhappy and sick patients who may be in a grumpy mood. Each time I was warmly greeted.

Dr. LOUIS ROMEO MD rents space in this office for Workers Comp. I saw him on 11/17/23 I was in his…read moreoffice lessthan4 minutes during questioning he blatantly called me a lier about how I felt. During the quick pathetic exam he tried to force me to move in ways that I was unable even tho I was in excruciating pain. He informed me I wasn't in pain his review he deemed me 75% disabled meanwhile I have about 10 notes from Dr's stating 100% disabled. It is extremely apparent that Dr. LOUIS ROMEO is being payed off to falsify and document false information stating the patient is fine. 3 weeks later I visited one of my Dr's and again relieved a note of 100% disabled. His IME report of falsified info caused me to loose pay. As we all know workers Comp looks to pay you 0 $$. Dr. LOUIS ROMEO should loose his license for preforming a 1/2 ass examination and telling people they really don't feel what they are complaining about. At the time of my visit I had 5 fractures all related to this accident, he clearly disregard my pain and was trying to force me into positions in which I screamed in pain to provide for him regardless that I could not preform these positions of motor skills. Since we I "tried" that was written up as done with ease. Really I left that office in double the pain I walked in with and I was only seen for approximately 4 minutes. I do not recommend this Dr nor this practice to anybody with serious work injuries.

Dr. Vinci is extremely knowledgeable at what he does and has worked tirelessly on my lower back issues. I wasn't very confident in chiropractors back then but coming here has changed my outlook. I was able to get fitted orthotics that have been helping me with my posture and come back regularly for readjustments. I 10/10 recommend his practice!

I did some research to find out more about the doctor prior to making the appointment. It turns out, Dr Vinci had been the team chiropractor and sports medicine guy for the Islanders. Perfect...he would understand the injury as well as what my son needs to be able to do to get back to playing as soon as possible. I called for an appointment and was given a link to his web site where I could download forms to fill out prior to the visit. This definitely helped cut down on the time spent in the office filling out paper work. Since it was our first visit he was not able to see us that day however, he did ask if it was an emergency. If it was, he would get us in. We opted to wait for the first available day to allow for a full initially consultation...which was just in 2 days. When we arrived at his his office, the parking area is small, and can only accommodate about 6 cars comfortably...but since it doesn't appear that he overbooks, that should not be an issue. The receptionist was friendly and took care of some additionally paperwork, and promptly got us into the consultation room. We waited there about 5 minutes before Dr. Vinci walked in and introduced himself. Immediately we felt comfortable with him. He asked my son and I questions regarding how and when the injury occurred. He was very patient in explaining the injury to us and answered all of our question. After the consultation he wanted to examine my son. Dr Vinci made my son fell very comfortable with how he addressed him and made him feel part of the process, explaining what he was doing and why he was doing it. We walked away with a better understanding of what the injury was and what was causing the pain. It's rare to find a medical professional these days that make you feel confident in their abilities, and more rare to find one that you feel really cares. We got that from Dr Vinci.

She has a water wall which is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also sounds soothing while getting massaged. Her music selection is relaxing but did not put me to sleep, which is very important for me.. I hate to sleep through and waste my massages. The bed linens are soft and cozy and smell amazing, also extremely important to me. Danielle's hands are still magical.. she mixed regular pressure with deep tissue as needed. I went to see an Orthopedist who suggested a cortisone shot, told me to wait a few weeks to see if it begins the healing process, if not, schedule a surgery and take care of it while I'm still (fairly) young (Im 52) and in good health...After 3 days the cortisone shot wore off I began researching orthopedic surgeons...I decided to reach out to Tom Lavrigata, I knew he had great contacts at one of the most reputable orthopedic hospitals in Manhattan....During the conversation, where we discussed the long recovery period related to surgery, Tom asked if I researched platelet injections....Funny, because another friend of mine, a doctor, had mentioned that for a different ailment....I explained that I hadn't but I would start that day...After a quick google search i learned of the great success people were having with this least invasive procedure and decided to definitely give it a shot (no pun intended)...I called Tom, we scheduled an appointment at his location. I was really impressed at how nice, new, clean and professional his location was...Within 15 minutes he had withdrawn my blood and started the spinning down of my platelet process...He then reinjected the platelets into my shoulder - minimal pain....and said lets see how you feel in 2 weeks....I have to tell you - within two days my shoulder started feeling better, it wasnt healed bit the platelets went to work on my tendinitis and brusitis, relieving and reducing a lot of the swelling almost instantaneously. 6 weeks later and I am back in the gym doing shoulder and chest exercises - lets be honest, my shoulder is not completely healed, it will take more time to regenerate the injured area, but I have much, much, much less pain and fewer issues moving my arm. I am considering doing another injection in a few weeks, just to really enhance the healing process. I am so grateful that Tom and I discussed this process and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of having surgery. The process is so fast and pain free that you should definitely consider it. Tom was great through the entire process, explained what they were going to do, the healing stages and then stayed in touch with me on a weekly basis. 100% recommend these guys. they will change the gace or surger with this new procedure!
