I returned today to get a cover for my center console. Maybe 1 sqft of material. They quoted me $90, but would reduce it to $40. My friend got it free when he had his dash cover made here last year. I've had 5 covers made here over the past 3 years (and yes I reminded them of this fact), and they still charged me $40. So much for customer appreciation. read more

I had my windshield replaced for the third time at Sandia BMW. This time the glass was unusually reflective and head up display components an unsafe distraction reflecting on the windshield depending on orientation to the sun. The dealership was indifferent to my safety concerns. Then I met David at DashCovers. He described how the dash cover could help reduce the windshield reflections. The dash cover made a significant difference reducing the amount of reflection on the windshield. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. I sew and quilt. The seams are flat, straight edges, and very tight fit over the top of the dashboard. Pricing is reasonable. I would definitely recommend DashCovers to my friends and family. read more

Absolutely amazing service and product! This is the second vehicle I've had a dash cover made for and I'm in love with this place!

This is not a review of their product as I did not order from them. Their customer service was atrocious. The person I worked with was rude and acted as if he was bothered I was there. I asked if they had covers in stock and he was belligerent to my ignorance about how that would be impossible due to all the different configurations. The only reason I was there was the Albuquerque Swap Meet is closed, which is where I have bought my last three dash covers. The vendor has them right there, in his mobile truck. Every one I have ever needed, custom made, ready to go. I told him I wanted dark, just a shade under black. He grabbed several samples and took me to my car to again educate me about glare. Annoyed me, but fine, he wants to make sure I get what I want. As he is leaning in my truck cab, literally right on top of me, I asked him to give me some space due to Covid (I'd been living out of state in a high population area), and he literally laughed at me. I was trying to protect him, and following the law of New Mexico. I left and ordered it online. read more

Brent and Dave do the absolute best work. I literally get a dashcover from these guys on every vehicle I buy! I have even had them put a dashcover on a car that didnt run yet. Thats how awesome these dashcovers are. I have had several colors, but my favorite is black. They hand cut and sew all of their custom fit dashcovers. You will never see anything else like these dashcovers. I used to hate dashcovers and thought they looked tacky...until I got one from these guys. I also had them make custom sun shades for the cab of my RV! Keep up the great work! read more

I have to take a quick minute to stop and say how happy I am with my dash cover. It has been great!!! It looks great and fits my dash great. I waited a week to post this review, because I wanted to see if it did decrease the glare on my windshield. It does both day and night!! I have noticed the increase in my visibility. Great service. I would recommend one of these covers. One quick note they do not accept credit cards. read more

I gave my BF a gift certificate for Xmas ! They did a superior fit and installed them beautifully ! Very professional friendly and followed Covid guidelines read more

I have purchased several dash covers from Dash Covers over the years. This time, my experience was NOT so good. Their customer service and friendliness wasn't apparent. The dash cover for my GMC Terrain cost$160. I had to scrub the dash with goo gone and a scratch pad. I was promised my dash cover in 4 days. It took 11 days! During the installation, I was told there was still residue on the dash, so I was charged an additional $10. The dash cover now covers my LED alert panel and I can't see my alerts. I was told to adjust my seat to a 90 degree angle. I tried, but I was sitting forward with my head almost hitting the windshield. It's just not right! And it was expensive! read more

Recommend anyone to go get a dash cover installed by these guys. Forget those cheap ones you can order from Pep Boys. These guys are legit. I have had them install on at least four of my past vehicles and currently have them on two now. read more

The guys at Dashcovers Southwest are the absolute best. I took my Infiniti there today to refit my dash cover and left taken care of an hour later. This would explain why I have bought 13 dash covers from these gents over the last 10 years. The covers fit perfectly and look like they belong, not like you threw a rug on your dash. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! They are the BEST! You all ROCK. read more

I recently received a dashcover from Dashcover Southwest, it was more than I ever imagined it is a custom fit to perfection. The brothers that own the business are perfectionists and it shows in their product!! From the first time I called to inquire the professionalism was remarkable! I highly recommend them. read more

This place makes high quality dash covers with superb workmanship. If you want the best at a fair price this is the place to go. We have been going here for over 23 years, we want only the best for our vehicles. We have a dash mat in our older Dodge that was installed 23 years ago and still looks amazing. The owner was very professional, courteous and on point. We will continue to do business with them and continue to recommend them to family and friends. read more

Very rude unprofessional and acted like he did not need my business and this would have been the 5th one purchased...

I stopped in to see about a dash cover and left very impressed. The 2 brothers who work and run the place are very attentive to what you want. They thoroughly explained what they sell, how it will help you, and walk you through the process. When I set the appointment and arrived they did an amazing job! After they showed me how to clean it, how it was made, and the warranty. If you leave and a question was not already answered it would surprise me. read more

I have bought three different dash covers from Dashcovers and every single one has been amazing quality perfect fit and finish they are 100% custom made for each vehicle and they are a very reasonable price for an amazing product. They also do window tinting, seat covers and other accessories. I am very pleased with their work and would definitely give them my business again read more

They moved across Menaul and just slightly west, next to Village Inn. I think it's 2115 Menaul. These guys make the worlds best custom dash covers! Really. You won't even know what this is about until you have one. Your car is hot and there is way too much glare coming off your dash. We have had them make us dash covers for 5 vehicles now. There is no mistaking a Dashcovers cover, nothing else comes close. You owe it to yourself to drop by and see this product. It cools your vehicle down significantly, but taking down the glare is the best part for me. Get it in black, or whatever color you prefer. I recommend black though. They custom cut and fit the cover then steam it on, it fits to every curve and bump on your dash. The first one we had done was 20 years ago and it still looks great because it doesn't fade. read more

Super rude and unprofessional. Purchased 2 for each of my vehicles. One was not sticking to the dash. I brought it to him to look at it. He began ranting about how filthy my dash was and how he didn't know what it was detailed with and how it wasn't his job to clean it before applying the dash mat nor was it his job to tell me to clean it before bringing it in. He said he wasn't a car detailer. And that I should've known to clean it beforehand. He said that the customer isn't always right and that our business wasnt more than a drop in a bucket to him as he does thousands upon thousands. Brought it in to get it fixed as he requested. He advised that he had discord and just wanted to get it over with. The absolute WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I've never been treated so poorly. I'd give it 0 stars if it were possible. read more

This guy does not do what he says he's going to do... he only takes checks or cash. I've been waiting since the end of December (2010) for a dashmat for my car that he said he would do over the weekend and get out to me the following week. It's now Feb... he says he's mailling stuff out but it hasn't appeared so thumbs down on this guy. I just hope i get my dashmat... cost me $100. I know I could have gotten it from Amazon quicker and reliably but I wanted to give the hometown guy some business. Huge mistake on my part... all I can say is don't expect him to deliver when he says he will... thats if he delivers at all. read more

Terrible place. Over priced, poor fit. and very bad customer service. They charge 130 bucks for a dash cover, including a required 25 bucks to install it. After a few days I went back and asked to have it modified because it as blocking one of my display screens (2018 Forester). The guy argued with me, then said OK for another 20 bucks, and come back in an hour. I went back he was not there. His brother argued with me again about how perfect their cover is and why do I want to change it. At that point I asked for a refund, he said no, it is already installed. This place is a total rip off. read more

A couple of losers who are interested in your money and mainly themselves. NOT customer service oriented at all. Went in to buy a dashcover...they greet you at your car...when you are a new customer to give them money. Then they give you a sales pitch on how great they and their product is. What they did NOT do in my case, is tell me their hours of installment, which is HUGE to me. Reasonable to think it was during ALL hours they are open. So I gave them a check for deposit, check or cash only. When I called to make an appointment for installation, 11:00 am was not on their schedule EVER as it disrupts THEIR schedule. I requested my deposit back and was told NO!..then a few minutes later, the brother Dave, who is the one I ordered from, called me and again told me NO.....and that he ALWAYS tells the hours of installation. So, he called me a liar in so many ways..Another example of poor customer service..AGAIN, all about them...but I could have someone else install it. So,on Wednesday,, the only and last day I go to that side of town, I stopped in to pick up the cover. Dave looked at me, DELIBERATELY walked away from my car and , turned his back toward me. The other customer told him To wait on me, and he clearly did not want to until the customer insisted. Then he told me...they are giving my deposit back because the don't like me!!! REALLY? And even though he knew exactly who I was...I had to have the receipt with me to get it. He knows exactly who I am!....still has to be an " all about them" business. Wow. I was in customer service for 45 years....this is Not how we treated customers. Will send in my receipt and take that order as well as many others with me..good luck, remember it's All about them. read more

Do not give these folks money! I paid a 50% deposit ($200) for seat covers with a promised two week delivery. In spite of constant reassurances that they would complete them, they never did. Two months later, they agreed to refund the deposit and several weeks later, I still have not received the refund (in spite of them twice telling me the "check is in the mail". read more

These guys did a Great job! They explained the importance of the dashcover not only to protect the dash in our N.M. extreme summer weather, but also the glare that it cuts down on..you can see sooo much better with a dark colored dashcover, and believe it or not, they actually help keep the dash cooler! The address is incorrect, they are still on Menaul just down the block, 2019 Menaul. But there was a sign up at the old location, in a window there, I went in the people there were friendly and gave me the current directions...will use these guys again and again for any vehicle I may get. I'm also looking into the bag liners for my brothers Harley out in S.C. they were really nice looking, I don't have a motorcycle, but I can see the advantage to having the bags lined. I would recommend them to all! read more

I've gotten 4 dashmats from these guys over the last 15 years so I'm familiar with the business. I agree with the reviewers that say these guys do a good job. However, I also agree with the reviewers that bring to light the company's less desirable attributes. Dave has always been arrogant--acts like he's doing you a favor by working on your vehicle. I was willing to put up with it to get a good product, but now he's started lying, too. It took over a year to get a dashmat. He never called when he said he would, and when I would call him to ask about status, it was always one excuse after another. Finally got the dashmat...a year later...and then I ordered seat covers--after 6 months of the same litany of excuses, I gave up and asked for a refund. Supposedly "...the check is in the mail...", but over a week later and I still haven't seen it. If you're willing to put up with all that plus wait several months, then you can probably get a decent product from these guys. Personally, I'm going to start looking for someone more reputable and reliable. Too bad, too, because they used to be a good business. read more
