Review Edit: Previous Review 1 * Review Update: 3 * Dashcovers Southwest came through...Yesterday a friend of mine stopped by the store to pick up my dash-mat, it was ready and was received. Although I'm going to have my fiend send it to me instead of the vendor, I feel that Dave really went out of his way to compensate me for the delay...He made things right. Yesterday and last night, Dave personally made multiple attempts to contact me. Once we made contact, he was pleasant, sincere, honest, and owned the situation while we discussed what had occurred. Something of note...this all transpired prior to him knowing about my review here. So I feel his intent was genuine. As I stated their product is top notch and this will be the 4th mat I've gotten from them over the years. That alone, is why I'm giving them a rating of 3 stars...they really do make a great product. Previous Review: This place does do amazing work and the dash cover(s) hugs the dash perfectly! I purchased two covers from them while I lived in ABQ. Had zero problems with driving up and handing them cash for a product, well other then one of them being a grumpy guy one day (maybe this was a prelude?). With that being said, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM OVER THE PHONE. on 12/26/17 I contacted "Dave" about getting a Dash Cover for a 2011 F250. On 1/18/18 he responded back (after a few phone calls) with the price of $182.75 for the Ford. I had also planned to have them make me one for my 1999 Jeep XJ (that will not be happening now). Some typical life stuff occurred so on 3/3/18 I sent a money order. Soon after the money order was chased. 4/19/18: Have heard nothing from "Dave" so I dropped him a text...he replied, "yes your order was lost. Made and shipped another one, sorry for the delay." 4/27/18: Made contact requesting a tracking number...No # no mat, was told there was a medical issue. 4/27/18: Made contact requesting a tracking number...No # no mat, was told there was a medical issue. Multiple calls... 5/31/18: "Still have not received my dash mat." No response. Multiple calls... 7/3/18: "I have never received my dash mat..." response - Sorry had to go out of town...Returning Friday & will square up & deliver your long over due order. Talk to you Friday." Phone call Friday - "yes sir, mats in the mail i have a tracking number that I'll text to you in a sec." Received no text. Multiple calls...with no responses/return calls. Absolutely worth the drive. We drove to Albuquerque, New Mexico from Amarillo Texas. Griping all the way about the glare from the windshield. Just happened to see their business and went in to see what they had. Brent and Dave were awesome. They are brothers and they own Dashcovers. They explained everything that their product is made of and how they make it how much it would cost and how long it would take. We did not have the two days that they said it would take but they told us to call them the next time we came to Albuquerque and they would hook us up. I called on Wednesday told them we would be there on Thursday. They told us to come in on Thursday as soon as we got into Albuquerque and it would be ready on Saturday. When we got there on Thursday they took down the color and model of the vehicle. We gave them a $40 deposit and they called us on Friday and said it was ready. It took maybe an hour to get it installed. They make the dash covers right there in their shop. Wow what a difference. I do not have the glare from my windshield like I did before. This dash cover is totally awesome, it looks like it was on my car the day I bought it. They do a custom fit that is out of this world. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. If you are from out of town and give them a call they will hook you up. I paid $125 plus tax and it was worth every penny. They also do window tinting and seat covers which I am seriously considering. read more

Awful customer service!! I went to them to get my seats and my dash cover done. I got my dash cover and although I love it I wish I never have gotten it from them! They held my money for over 9 weeks, even telling my husband that our seat covers came in and set an appointment! Showed up for him to say his "accountant" should've called us because the seat covers never came in? Like what? That was 7 weeks in. So waited again for another two weeks when he said they will be here.. nope never showed up. So I wanted my money back and he threw a fit and said he'll write my husband a check and he can pick up on Saturday! We went Monday to pick up and he said that his "accountant" mailed the check to us Saturday, he said if we never got the check on Wednesday to come get our money (over $700.00) Never got the "check" so I went up there to get my money and he told me his bank was closed at 2:30pm? He fought with me for MY money back.. finally after 30min of arguing he said he would write me a check? Like why fight with me, telling lies! all I wanted was MY money back! NEVER AGAIN! I paid everything in full and to experience something like this is crazy to me! Will never recommend them! All they want is your money, they don't even care! This all happened when the weather was super awful here (rainy, windy, and cold) and I had to take my two kids out in that for the run around! Smh read more

I just got my new dashcover installed today, and I could not be happier! First of all, the customer service is impeccable. I spoke to one of the gentleman on the phone for quite some time prior to going in, and he was very patient how about answering all of my questions, and helped me feel confident in making the investment and the quality I would receive. I actually waited several months to go in (unrelatedly) but was so impressed by our conversation that there was no question whether or not I would use them. My experience in person was just as friendly and efficient. My options were clearly presented and described. As for the product, I'm thrilled. It's super awesome. It looks great, and really does fit perfectly. Like, PERFECTLY. It is everything I expected. Totally worth the investment. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

The brothers do a GREAT job! The dash cover I ordered for my Highlander fits beautifully! I asked for an extra piece to shade the LCD clock and they accommodated my needs perfectly. It took 2-1/2 weeks and they installed it (extra charge for install) as well. I highly recommend. They only take cash or check, as previously mentioned, and the deposit is 50%. We had a friend recommend them after he had his truck dashboard and his Harley saddlebags lined by them. Many of their customers are repeat business. Many people come in from out-of-state to have the work done. While I was waiting to order floor mats last time, the couple before me was from Illinois heading to Arizona and were going to swing back to have the dash cover put in. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Brent and Dave last year when I stopped in at Dashcovers to inquire about a dash cover for my 10 year old vehicle. These guys were the best! They patiently assisted me while I picked the fabric color that best suited my vehicle. They were remarkably flexible when I scheduled a return appointment for the fitting/installation. First thing is say WOW! They just finished my 2015 Chevy Malibu. I have been using Dashcovers for many years, they do not disappoint. I have a 2005 Ford 500 that has a dashcover installed by them in 2005, it's 2019 and it still looks like new. Every car I have owned has their product installed in them. They do cost more but price is well worth the investment. The sun glare is reduced and the car just looks"cool." Everybody that sees this product just raves. Great product & great customer service here. Recently had a custom dash-cover made for my 2012 VW bug (see pic). Fits like a glove! None of that sliding around you get w/other dash-covers that are only attached to your dash w/velcro here & there. "Dashcover's" dash-mat is form-fitted 2ur dash & stays in place w/their patented low-profile velco. They did an amazing job on my tint! Also very professional, friendly, and honest. My mom got her tint done with them a few years ago and it still looks great. They went above and beyond with my vehicle, cleaning the arm rests (around where my button controls are) and even got this strip of lipstick out of my driver seat! I recently had a dashcover installed in my Expedition. It came out excellent. The workmanship and material are the highest quality I have seen. It's the most fitted dashcover available. I have to say this is the best dashcover I have ever seen. They did a fantastic job creating one for my 2016 Corvette. It fits like a glove. It is all custom done to fit and look excellent.
