A comfortable gas station/convenience store/restaurant on a cozy town such as Newark, MD, it sees…read moretravelers and commuters far and wide, as well as the occasional farmer. It's a Sunoco station, so there's much to be comfortable about, and there's seven or so pumps (6 regular, 1 ethanol).
Inside, it's as similar to any other convenience store, offering drinks and snacks for the common traveler, as well as alcohol. There's freshly baked food here too, such as fried chicken, sandwiches, breakfast items, pizza, hot dogs, and other things, pleasing those who want a comfortable meal in a place such as this. At the back, there's plenty of options for beverages, such as a soda fountain machine (Pepsi products), coffee/cappuccino/hot cocoa, slushes (Jolly Rancher), milkshake maker, and more.
There's also a seating area for those who wish to eat inside (2 tables with a mixed bench/chair arrangement), TV sets for entertainment. You can't drink your alcohol inside the premises though, but the staff are very receptive to customers. There's also an ATM, dispensing 20$ s , but the sparse connectivity in DelMarVa and spotty internet means that you'll probably want to run the transaction again if it fails.
Overall, it's a great rest stop, and one of a few you'll see along US Highway 113 for miles on end (north/south).
